Never get calls about preorders. Barely ever answer the phone, the Store leader Anthony takes personal calls and asks guests to wait. Store has always been rough but it just keeps going down hill

Great store worker with a high knowledge of the games, he was a true gamer being middle aged. Due to the nationwide shortages the store was out of a lot of requested items like certain games, controllers and headsets

Up charge on their items. Bought a Nintendo Switch case with a $19.99 sticker. Got home and found a $17.99 sticker under. Called the store and nobody answered. Thieves

It was a solo worker in there and he handled his job very well. He was being faced with a customer wanting a specific item all while having a line himself and he took the time to make sure their needs were met graciously. Shout out to Hector!

First of all there was only 1 to 2 people working and didnt do a very good job, one was working the cash register and the other one just stood there making conversation with the person at the cash register. It was very slow and they barely had anything. Another thing is where it is. I had such a hard time exiting with the Starbucks right next to it. This is not the best place to buy games.

Fast plus offer warranties for game for a year, not sure if walmart or target does the same

Horrible service. Super rude employees. Rolling their eyes when I asked them a question. Masks were not worn properly and social distancing was not an option here. Their sign specifically said no more than 5 people at a time and there was at least 15 people in the store. When confronted about that issue I was told, Well I dont know, we are doing the best we can, I was in the back room so Im not watching people. Unacceptable.

Dont shop here. Shave your money and go anywhere else. They false advertise on items. They dont know what they actually selling you with this new or what system its for. Poor customer service.

Right next to Starbucks. Its a pretty small store but definitely stocked as much as possible. 1 guy was very helpful. He gave good recommendations in an effort to help me, not to make a sale or make me spend more. They had what I was looking for. Small clearance section.

Great selection of games staff is majority of the time very friendly and helpful but I went earlier in the day around noon and they definitely need another person in there there was only one woman at the register and no other employees in sight I tried reserving my game on the GameStop app and theyre supposed to reply to your request either they dont have it or that its been pulled and ready for pickup I never received an answer so I just went there but now I know why the woman had no help and was alone

Answer the phone!!!! Its convenient (for them), that their outgoing message states that all associates are busy with other customers & to try your call later then hangs up on you. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have a gift card I was going to use there (if they answered the phone), wont be using it there now!

Ive been coming here for years and it was good up until recently. One specific employee is never helpful, did not know what he had in stock, one time he just answered a question with a nod not one word was said to me as he went back to standing behind the counter talking to a girl who works there. Then he refused a trade in I was trying to make accusing me of being an under cover gamestop employee as if I was trying to catch him not following policies spouting pointless pawn shop regulations. I just came in to trade a game and I got refused? Who does that? Im definitely not going back to that location just because of that jackass. I forgot to catch his name but hes black wears glasses and hes chubby.

I used to like this game stop a lot. The manager is nice. It was raining hard one day and he gave me and my boyfriend a ride home after hours. Most of the employees have good customer service skills, and are friendly. They have to improve on answering their phone calls though, and their midnight releases are sloppy, and frustrating.

No problem. Picked up SNK heroines there was a big line for Spider-Man and the staff were quick and respectful.

Apparently they dont know how to answer the phone after 7pm on a Friday evening (10/19/18) at this location. That All store associates are currently busy assisting customers. Please call back in a few minutes message is beyond bs. Actually arrived to the store to see that no one is in there. Called the Hammond, IN. location & got an answer in less than 5 seconds. Im going to corporate about this, youre still getting paid to do your job via in person & over the phone. FYI! 🙄

When I went into the store, I waited to be seen. I wasnt too impatient because I seen there were a few customers before me. 10 minutes into the wait another customer with a biker vest came in and the black gentleman completely passes us in his face to take care of the customer as if he had some sort of sexual attraction towards the other customer. Im guessing by the patches in his head that the job was getting to him. So Im giving 2 stars because fortunately the manager and Katie got us outta there very fast and was courteous all the way even tho it was late in the day. The black guy also had horrible clothes that were 3 sizes too big. Not a look for a gamestop employee. Next time think about others before you go towards the guy you found attractive. I had a long day too.

This is the best one in my area. I normally end up here, when the others fail me. This place always comes through. Great service.

Complete trash! I came back in to return a broken controller( 60 dollar controller but you guys dont test it?) I paid with my gamestop charge card and wanted the money put back on my card, since I had just bought a new one at best buy. The guy behind the register processes the return but tries to hand me cash, I told him I didnt pay in cash. And I dont want cash. He tells the young lady in charge what happened, she is young, short Hispanic girl with the side o her head shaved, and the rest is dyed like red or purple, and with her back to me says if you already processed it as cash then he has to take cash. She didnt even have the decency to turn around and say anything to me) when I say outloud excuse me? Then she turns to try and tell me well I dont know if we can put the refund on your card. Meanwhile a friend of mine who works at another gamestop is telling me on the phone, that they can do it easily. The lady tells me she has to call to verify it can be done it takes 10 seconds and she processes the return. She should have done it right the first time instead of trying to give me cash and telling me it cant be fixed cause you dont want to be bothered. I know this place gets a lot of people hocking games for cash, cause the are in need of money, but you dont get the right to assume that thats why everybody is there, tell your people to read the receipt, and tell your people in charge they dont just get to dismiss THEIR employees errors by telling me I have to eat it cause someone else messed up.

People are friendly but dont bother calling because apparently this gamestop doesnt know what a telephone is because they never answer it or call back on your pre orders.

Gamestop is a boring place that will get taken over by walmart i will never go there again they never have anything i need and it’s overpriced a bit
