Customer service people behind the counter were not wearing masks and there was no hand sanitizer to be found. Went in for 3 batteries for my car remotes and was charged 15.99 each! Could have went to a Radio Shack where the same batteries are 6.99 each. But I have a pinched nerve in my back and this was the closest place to my home. I definitely would not recommend this company for any product at all.

Well Ive bought batteries there befrore and this time i took a battery there to get a new one for my motorcycle and was not given a core credit for the old one because the guy said the battery i brought in wasnt purchased from there. Wow i could have went to an auto parts store and paid a lower price plus received a core credit. I will never do business woth this place again. And i will let my motorcycle friends know not to go there.

Made an order online, paid. Got a confirmation email. TOLD WOULD BE READY WITHIN THE HOUR. Never received another email or call. Stopped by the stroe two days later and asked why i did not receive a call or email. No response. Gave the customer service agent my info on the order. Was told they do not have in stock or that they would ever have in stock./ The agent was able to give me a work around, but was not the most congenial person. Never explained why i did not get the follow up email or call or about why that they did not carry it. Why sell it. Bait and switch? It a great store, terrible online presence, as well as customer service inside.

Web says pick up in store and available locations. What it doesnt tell u is they do not have it. It has to be ordered then picked up in store. I called to verify availability but no one called me back. Would have saved a trip.

Warranty is a scam for Trojan batteries. My battery exploded in under 1 year in my Golf cart and they stated it wasnt covered because my terminal was loose. My terminal was not loose! This was a defective battery. Batteries plus should not carry this brand of they dont stand behind their warranties

In addition they refused to put a new battery in my phone, so much for the warranty! Grant you the battery was only holding for about three hours so regardless if my WiFi was left on it still should have held a charge for longer than three hours. Finally, they did offer to refund my money, however they wanted to remove my battery and they could not find the battery that they removed from my phone originally. I went here, and as they followed policy, said they would have to charge the battery to see if its good or not and would let me know tomorrow morning... again, i live in naples.Stayed up here visiting friends, and got a call back acouple hours later. Cory said it should be good to get me home, and thats all I needed. Cant thank them enough for their help and expediting the process. Give em a raise! I literally crushed my iPhone in a car door at 6:45pm tonight, as we where headed into dinner. Quick service, quality product (not quite so good, see below)9/6/18: I had to return this laptop battery yesterday. While setting on the shelf for some time, once installed, it charged to a fully charged status. This status remained for 3-4 days. After that time in my laptop, it showed the same status (plugged in, not charging) as my original battery. The store personnel had a couple of suggestions that I had already tried. They allowed my return (14-day no questions asked).When I get time, I may try another store in my area for this product. Hope I have better luck.

Had them check a marine battery...found that it was dead and was told it could not be recharged. Bought a new one from them but would have liked someone to carry to car...very heavy and I am retired.Two young people in store without offering this help?Extra service brings people back!!

I took my RV battery in on April 15, 2019 to be tested. I wanted to make sure the battery was bad and not just low on charge. The store clerk told me the battery was bad and needed replacement. The cost was $140. I didnt trust the clerk and took it to an auto part store. They tested the battery and stated it was low on charge. The battery was not bad. Beware of this store. This didnt seem very honest.

I purchased my battery online and went to the store the next morning for installation.When I arrived, they already had my battery sitting on a cart ready to wheel out to my car. After refunding the core charge from my online purchase, the installation proceeded and was accomplished in less that 10 minutes.The staff at the store we extremely courteous, efficient and very friendly. Had to return battery purchased same day cause terminal broke off, was told its a Chinese made product, great. Paid $30 more for American made one, works perfect! Personnel at store apprehensive at first with return of China battery, but after calling manager all worked out. Very knowledgeable people working there. Recommend.

Ive been here twice, once for a hard-to-find rechargeable battery and to purchase a light for my microwave. In both cases Batteries Plus Bulbs had the part and I was in and out in 5 minutes or less. Knowledgable, helpful staff. This is the place to go for batteries and bulbs.

I purchased a strange battery online for pickup in person. It was for a n older cordless Oreck cordless vacuum. Mine had a plug connected, but when I looked at the new one, there was no connector. I thought I screwed up, but one of the technicians ask if Id like him to move the old connector over. The answer of course was yes cause they had to remove and solder onto the battery terminals. Ive had good experience in the past but they went above and beyond because I dont know that I would have known what to to. Hats off to these guys in Cape Coral FL.

My phone died and needed a new battery. I opened it up and saw 23 screws and they were extremely tiny. I couldnt do it myself. I took it to this store and the manager Adam who is very polite and professional said he could do it. It took alot of effort because the screws were stripped but he got the job done and now the phone works like new. I want to commend Adam for a job well done.

After many good experiences at Batteries Plus, Ive just had a very bad one. After installing the new battery I purchased, I discovered it was dead & returned it within two hours. The manager said this battery is not the same battery I had just purchased, and that I had swapped the new battery with one I already had. I know for a fact that I had only two batteries in my possession that day. The one I brought in, & the one they sold me. The manager, at my invitation, actually came out to my house to look for the extra battery. None found. None ever existed! The manager then gave me a new battery, but clearly believes there was another battery involved. The mix up had to of occurred at the store without the managers knowledge. I think he truly believes I tried to defraud him. I assure you I did not!

This was after AutoZone, Firestone, Advanced Auto, etc. sent me packing after my initial evaluation. Rare to find someone who actually gives time and valiant effort these days. I went in to the Pine Island store to replace a CFL bulb for my kitchen. Adam explained the possible benefits of using LED bulbs instead and I purchased a quantity at a substantially lower price than the CFLs. I installed the bulbs and was surprised at the difference--more light, sooner. This store is well stocked, and the service personnel have always been friendly and knowledgeable. Went to the store on P.I. rd.Very nice staff. A large variety of batteries. I needed two 8D batteries for my boat. I had recent back surgery so I asked if they could deliver the batteries to my boat a couple of miles away and they accommodated me.Now thats customer service.

The store was the Pine Island store in Cape Coral, Fl. It was supposed to open up at 9:00 AM. I waited and called and called and finally at 10:00 am some rude clown showed up and I finally got my order. I was late for work because of this.

So, I need a new battery for my UPC. I check Amazon and a factory battery is $37. I call my local Batteries Plus and he says it starts at $36. I reiterate the model and he says that battery is mid-range, so about $39. I figure convenience is worth a few bucks more, so I drive the 20 minutes and the guy goes straight for a $65 battery. I’m like whoa, where’s the $39 battery I called about and he says you have the high capacity battery it’s more expensive. I again mention Amazon and he says, “if you wanna wait, you can buy the one from Amazon”. Unfortunately, LCEC is having power issues today, so I can’t wait. Guess where I’m not going next time🤨

I purchase batteries 24 batteries from batteries plus Cape Coral Pine island road within 30 days of the batteries are dead went into talk to the manager .These batteries are for an Arlo camera system that should last 60 to 90 days and they offered me 20% discount to buy these batteries over again edit $80 price they don’t stand behind their products I will never buy another battery from batteries plus. I was informed there are no guarantees with their batteries. A company that does not stand behind the product they sell. Huge warning to all consumers

I was amazed at how stupid the clerk was when I went to pick up my batteries. He insisted that the e-mail I received that my card had been charged was in error and that there was no record of the transaction on the Batteries Plus computer. I gave him my credit card so he could check and see if it had been charged and he was unable to find any record of it. After a 11 minute wait I realized it would have been easier to just buy them instead of making a special trip. When he figured it out, I did get the correct batteries.Adam just left a nasty message on my answering machine about a negative review. I was explaining what happened and the fact he thought it was negative explains a lot about Adam.

Stay away from Batteries Plus in Cape Coral. I purchased a battery for my RV in January 2017. Went camping a few times and all of a sudden my battery is dead. It was only 6 months old. I went and had it tested at a retailer and they confirmed it was dead and no longer good. I took it to batteries plus and explained that I got it 6 months ago (which they confirmed) and that it is still under warranty. They tested it and said it had 4 volts in it, and questioned that I should not have left it run down. I told the person that I did not let it run down and that there was a problem with the battery. The kid told me that their policy would be to have to keep it and try to charge it. If it would charge then they would not honor the warranty and give me back the battery. I explained that I was leaving the next day for a camping trip in Montana and Wyoming and that I wanted the battery replace as per the warranty. I did not let it run down, and that it had been taken care of properly and they verified that it was basically dead. The kid told me that that was their policy.I ended up having to take the battery and I bought a new battery for my RV from another store.Stay away from batteries plus. They will not honor a warranty. They will make up any excuse to not replace a bad battery. And they were very rude to deal with.BTW, I did show up on a Monday night 10 minutes before closing. As a former retail owner, if a customer came to my store even at closing I or my people took care of them. The customer always would come first. The kid working on tonight kept telling me there wasnt anything he could do anyways because it was 5 minutes before closing. I was desperate as I was leaving in the morning for a 5000 mile camping trip with the RV. Believe me, this store is not Batteries Plus Bulbs. It is Batteries Plus Rudeness and Batteries Plus Rip Off.It cost me $90 for another battery at another retailer. One that will honor their warranty.I will never use them again.

Unfortunately I cant leave 1 star. If you order a battery online there is no guarantee that they can even get the battery. I ordered a var battery online. Paid for it online. Even got a confirmation email stating that it was ready for pickup. So we go to pick it up and they can no longer get that battery but we do have one that will fit for $40 more. So now I have to wait 24-48 hour for a refund so I can purchase the battery from a different retailer. No I do not recommend batteries plus and no I will never purchase anything from them again.

I was able to get it your store on pine island and asked if your company was able to install after being told by 3 other major companies that It could not be done or that they would not do it. He went outside and said that he could do it without hesitation- I have a chevy equinox and the battery has a cover that is not easy to remove. Even though it was not an easy task he never looked worried or frustrated. He was able to do it rather quickly and was so pleasant. Thank you Michael for turning my day around, you rock!
