The store is good, they had most of what I was looking for, but Im used to going to HEB for freshly made single meals, fresh hot tortillas, and all the Keto items I love shopping for.

Nice deli. But the shelves are always empty. Youd think they would order more products. But thatd take forward thinking and common sense, which is lacking in carlsbad.

I cant say enough good things about Albertsons selections.But on the down side Im somewhat disabled & at Albertsons check-out is rough. This is my process.. I take my groceries out of the cart put them up there for the checker, then hurry back around so I can get em bagged & put back into the cart, next hurry back to to where the checker has totalled my bill, scramble for my wallet & pay, finally I take my stuff to my vehicle unload em, return the cart and finally Im done. WHEW!! Im exhausted... see what Im talking about.

The only place I shop while in this area! Friendly employees and eager to help. One of my favorites is the already cooked roast beef with all the fixings; its been our supper on more than one occasion. The bakery and floral department do an outstanding job! Thank you Albertsons!

Our local Albertsons is always a great choice when looking for a place for all your grocery needs. The have fresh produce and fruit, daily baked goods, ready to eat food. They also have a full beer/wine/liquor section, pharmacy, fresh flower section, arranged and mix and match, that are priced at a bargain. A definite place to go, especially for the annual green chile roasting!

We are camping in the area. I was pleasantly surprised. This store is as good as a big city grocery store. They have tags on items that are dietician approved. I have dietary restrictions and it is hard to find exactly what I can have. Those tags were great.

A lot of missing products, but thats become the norm every where. When home I dont shop Albertsons but had no choice in Carlsbad

I love shopping hear. I always look forward to outstanding customer service along with warm friendly faces. I find the lines move faster than other grocery stores in town. I also love there location. Out front they sell water that seems to be cheaper than other places. I can usually find free samples. I really enjoy these because I love to experience new things. Inside at there customer service desk is a convenient place to cash your paycheck. I definitely give Albertsons five out of five stars.

Was just passing thru decided to stop at this Albertsons, will say this is one of the nicer ones iv been in . Very clean restrooms also got food from deli witch was very fresh ... Overall if I lived here I would go to this store for everything if I wasnt going to Walmart...

Staff is Great! Some have worked there for years and that is reassuring! Two of my Children have worked for Albertsons. Both have said how the staff really cares. Store is usually busy but kept clean. The atmosphere is and the options within the store are Fantastic! This is also the ONLY Place in town that we get fresh produce from.

This new Albertsons is awesome especially if you like upscale grocery shopping that youre used to back east or on the far west coast Albertsons is one of those chains thats a regional chain however here in Carlsbad this store was a refresh and revamp on what Albertsons could offer the local population of people I personally love going in here every time prices a little high but their liquor and alcohol section has all and everything you need they have a really cool sushi counter and they offer a lot of unique stuff that I feel like you cant find and Carlsbad of course being a regional chain they carry a wide wide variety of products and their employees are also super friendly even the kids they employ usually end up being really good workers so Im glad to give this place my money.

Im from Texas, so Albertsons isnt necessarily my type of place. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised that Albertsons really does provide everything that you would need. And it has everything that I would probably look for even if I was at heb. Go Albertsons.

Most upscale market that I have come across in Carlsbad. Great selection of high quality food items but alot pricier than your other local markets. The deli has a great selection of to go meals which are priced around what a gas station burrito would cost but much healthier. There is even a Starbucks for the coffee snobs. The service is excellent and with the remodeled parking lot getting in and out is a breeze.

Quick stop to get something we needed

Very nice since updated, if a bit pricey for the area for many things. Still, has the best selection in town and will be a pleasant surprise for someone from a large city. The self checkout machines are not very good as sometimes they fail to scan things and the staff breathes over your shoulder as you check out. Definitely use the cashier checkout lines.

Great everything. The food they serve is pretty good. Even have Hi-C Cherry flavor in the fountain drinks.

Not very impressed if you are wearing a leather jacket and have a big purse apparently they assume You are stealing. I was stopped and asked to come back in the store. I was in a hurry so I let them look in my bag and the door boy had to tell the managers that I didnt have anything in my bag. I needed to get alcohol so I got my boyfriend because he had an I. D. and I didnt. The managers stared at me as if they were going to stop me on the way in so before they could harass me again. I made a very loud and very clear statement of I will press charges for harassment if I am stopped again without justified proof that I took anything. Also on the way out I told the door boy just because someone may look a certain way doesnt mean they are a certain way. Just because I was wearing a harley jacket they assumed I was a thief so I wont be going here ever again.

For two grocery stores in town this is far more expensive than it used to be before the new building. Many of the favorite items were also removed from the shows after the move.

Albertsons did a great thing in closing the old store and constructing the new. Its a top of the line store. All the personnel that I came in contact with were kind, helpful and service oriented. On the other hand, the parking lot is terrible. Its so bumpy pushing the cart to car that I was concerned about all the eggs being broken. I understand that a new parking lot is in the future and when that happens this place will be 5 stars. 2-21 update: visiting Carlsbad... new parking lot, fabulous store and personnel. This store is a shining star in the city of Carlsbad!

I love this store

Its a nice new store. Many new items and more room inside. Fresh cooked food is available. Some items are not available from the old store which is odd. I cant seem to get there at the right time to get a fresh garlic bread. Either Im too early to beat the crowds, they havent made any yet, or I show up mid afternoon or evening and theyre always sold out. Parking is the worst part of course. They waste about 10 spaces on the side of the building for online order pick up. Nobodys doing that, everyone wants to go inside and see the new store! Until the old store is torn down and the parking lot is in, they should temporarily make 80% of those spaces available for regular parking. Seems obvious to do that, any little bit would help. I like the new store and cant wait for the parking situation to be handled.

Big beautiful new store! Fantastic deli section with lots and lots of tasty ready to go food. The shelves were loaded, things were easy to find, and the produce is second to none, great fresh fruits and veg and plenty of it.

Would be nice if they stayed open until the time advertised. Showed up at 10pm and they were closed.

Best shopping experience in Carlsbad when you can beat the crowd. Good meat selection and friendly workers. Looking forward to being a little less crowded when the larger store is complete. Deli food is hit and miss.

This location is very clean and organized. Very nice selection of fresh foods. I am dropping 2 stars for the hassle of getting in and out of the parking lot and the fact I couldn’t walk through the store without getting stepped on because it’s so crowded.

I placed an order for a Thanksgiving dinner only to have them tell me they have no record of the order and do not even offer what I ordered although I have the page from their own website showing them to be liars. Looks like I am eating out at a restaurant for Thanksgiving now. Their new store may be bigger but the customer service is now nonexistent.

Awesome store freshest veggies and fruits around and the meat market is hard to beat BIG rib eyes and bigger t-bones. the meat market is the best in town and has fresh as could be sea food. pre made mac, potato and pasta salads. I recommend this place to any and everyone

Went to get some deli Bacon, heck of a price and the best bacon!!! Meaty and thick. Well worth the 5.86 per Lb. Best Quality and buy in town. Lol.. I went to all 3 stores in town. By far the best deal ;-) Clerk was AWESOME, very helpful.

I love this new store but they do not have enough handicapped parking near the store. They could Mark some of the parking stalls right across from the front door as handicapped stalls. so many times I just drive off as I cannot walk the distance needed

So far so good, this newly built structure has quite the selection and friendly staff as well. Albertsons has a different look, feel, and a few surprises that you might not find in a other Carlsbad markets.

Its the night before Thanksgiving and the store was busy but it was obvious that they had all hands on deck and the employees had a great attitude.Rodney in the meat department was great!There was only 1 package of meat left of the cut we needed so he went to the back, packaged more for us and found us in the store to make sure we got it.That is the kind of service that keeps people coming back.

Had what I needed. Pretty clean. Some aisles were a little congested because associates were stocking goods. Other than that everyone seems nice. First time at this location. I would definitely recommend to anyone doing grocery shopping in Carlsbad.
