5 stars for Silver Star Motors.I took my restored 82 MB 240D in to have the window switches fixed. They found the problem and fixed before I could even get away in my Uber ride.Didnt charge me either.Ill be back.

Judging by the way they write, these 1 star reviewers are mentally challenged. Do not listen to them. I have been bringing my cars to Silver Star for years. Their rates are completely fair. Theyre so thorough and fast. Theyll save you a lot of money just because theyll have the job done right, and finished in half the time of a good Mercedes mechanic. The local Mercedes dealerships call John when they cant figure out certain mechanical problems. These guys are the absolute best.

I can thank jon and his crew enough for their top notch excellent work. My girlfriends son is in the army. And he just got shipped overseas. Before he left. His check engine light came on. Adding more stress to his world. He was worried. Thinking he would have to pay thousands of dollars. Jon and his team fixed everything for a price we couldnt believe. Chris was so happy. We all are. Horrible experience with silver star motors. Ive had my car there close to 2 months and they never even looked at the car or worked on it. The owner kept making excuses and was belittling my car, I would have to call every week for an update since they would never call me. He would call my car junk so why did you even take it to work on it?? Overall bad experience and John was very rude and unprofessional. I had to take my car out myself because no work was getting done on it at all.

Once again I had my mb c-220, 1995 worked on and am very pleased with their work.I highly recommend Raphael for his diagnostic skills . I would always seek his advice and you all should too.My best to John the owner, sterling for his organizational gifts, brad for fixing my windshield problems and Ivan for his constant display of class !Best to all of you !!!

Very effective service! John and his staff are very friendly and helpful and professional to help with my vehicle. I came here for check engine light and also changed brake pad. I will always come back for oil change too. Great service and highly recommended!

Silver Star motors is the best! John the owner and crew are so knowledgeable. Helpful and honest that I would never think to take my Mercedes anywhere else! John saved me 3,800,00 by letting me know that the problem that I had with my car (fuel system gasoline tank and fuel filters was most likely covered by Mercedes and had me tow it there. John was right and literally saved me 3.800.00 by having Mercedes do the work when he couldve easily done the work and made a lot of money. Bar none, John, you are by far the best of the best! Love you guys!

This place always surprises me on how great a job they do on the work for the price. I had a very old Mercedes and I took to them and they never tried to get me to do a job that was not worth the value of my car. What they did do was surprisingly very reasonable. Awesome to work with.

John has had this shop for at least 25 years. He knows Mercedes-Benz better than the dealer it seems. If you own a Mercedes-Benz, you should take your car to John and his knowledgeable staff. And the price is right!

This is my first review but my experience with Silver Star was so exemplary, people need to know!Okay, if you own a Mercedes, you know that they can be expensive to maintain.I had an issue with my window not rolling up all the way. In my mind, I am thinking it must be the motor, a solenoid, etc. that equals hundreds of dollars plus my time to bring it in to be repaired.I called Silver Star for the first time as I live in the neighborhood. I met with John and he suggested that the repair might be a memory issue. He spent about 5 minutes and the problem was resolved - WOW!!All that he charged me was a solid hand shake and have a great day!#1: Honesty: John just repaired it without writing up a billable diagnosis!#2: Knowledge - He knew the potential issue and resolved it ASAP.In a world full of mechanics that will push for repairs, I can tell you that Silver Star has my business from now on.Thanks again John and team at Silver Star!!~Dan Nichols, Carmichael

This place just quoted me exactly $200 for a bmw oil change service. Of course, I then said “no, thank you” and left. They’re robbing people here because I am 100% positive that Niello BMW on Fulton ave quoted me $129 for the same service if not better. So I’m not sure why they think they should charge $70 over what the dealer is asking when the dealer would probably do a more honest job. Good luck, definitely NOT coming here again.

I have a 2003 CLK320 that had a transmission shifting problem, and I was referred to this amazing business, to have John work on my car. He was able to properly diagnose exactly what the issue was. Not only that, he repaired the car extremely quick. Now my mercedes is driving just like it was new. Im very grateful and appreciative for all the amazing services that he provided. Now I know that when I need something, I can come to a very trustworthy and honest shop. You wont find better prices, services, and relationships, than here. Thanks John!

Excellent work on my MBs at a lower price than the dealers

Never again. I went to them a few times and the first few visits were fair, but the last time I went in to get my brakes/abs redone they charged my $250 for the labor and got basically nothing done. It felt almost the same as when it went in and to top it off they cut the wire to my break lights (they were working on the drive there, I had to run my own wire back eventually) and sent me home with my lugs on my wheel loose af. My wheels almost wobbled off on the drive home. When I called back and told them what happened they denied everything and claimed to have never even taken the wheels off. Tell me how do you do the brakes without taking off the wheels?

Real bad customer service to begin with, my care stayed there for a week until some one called me. took it in for a fuel leak twice and still did not fix it correctly. now the car has a noise in the pump and I was told the noise will go a way after driving it just to send me a way for the second time after charging $110. the place looks like a junk yard full of old cars. bad presentation and bad service. would take it to the Mercedes dealer instead.
