Working with Crockett was great! He was responsive and made the process easy. I have never purchased a car through the internet or without seeing it in person or driving it but it went much better than I expected. I felt Crockett was honest and straightforward and therefore I could trust him. And he did not fail to deliver as the Audi RS7 I bought from him is everything I hoped it would be!

Unprofessional and shady business when having a conversation about a car (High End). His use of language and how he articulated his frustration over disagreement about the car was rude and unprofessional. The rudeness started once I brought facts about the quality and integrity of the car. (How the car was traded several times, factory warranty questions, etc). All this was through text and even one phone call. Actually the call was like talking to child throwing a tantrum. I would not recommend this dealer and their cars, and if you are really considering to buy, please do your homework about the history of their cars.

Sight unseen purchase of used 911 went perfectly. I have been hunting for my dream car and it appeared on Autotrader. Traced it to a dealer called Dallas Auto Exchange. Significant investment so spent a significant amount of time sorting through reviews and attempting to avoid a trip to Texas during Covid-19. Worked with the owner, Crockett. He was open, followed through on each and every request for information, low pressure, sincere. His communication was excellent. 7 days a week. Email, phone and text. When I made the final decision, Crockett made the process easy. Assisted me with enclosed transportation to New England. Followed up with a call on initial delivery/first impressions. Attempted to purchase a vehicle and enter negotiations with Crockett. All I received was arrogance and condescension. I found out the car being sold was through consignment which I didnt have a problem with, but would work like a normal sale through a dealership. When I finally gave an offer, after my repeated attempts asking for his best price were ignored, he stated he would run that by his client but I would be responsible for all the associated taxes and fees. That doesnt sound like a normal sale through a dealership to me. Confused, I inquired to him that I thought the sale would go through a dealership like normal. He stated, It will, but Im not eating your taxes. He then went on stating the price I was offering was never going to happen and how he wasnt, trying to be rude and then giving me excuses of margins. I thanked him for his time. He then emailed me back stating, This car is the best deal in the country. If youre looking for one, you should buy it. Then finished with a rude and condescending comment of, Think that through before you get your feelings hurt... He then made more arrogant comments including, I dont think you understand how buying a car out of state works. The conversation started out normal, but quickly degraded into that of dealing with a petulant arrogant child. Needless to say I do not recommend dealing with this company.

Crockett is true professional. He will treat you well and give you a fair deal. The facility is top notch. I bought from him and will again. I had a minor issue after the sale and he made it right even though he didnt have to. Highly recommend

I recently purchased a car from Dallas Auto Exchange. I dealt directly with Crockett who was professional, honest and helpful. I searched the state of Texas for several weeks. I spoke to dozens of similar dealers, and visited at least 10 locations. I found places with cheaper prices. I found places with cars that were as nice, but I didnt find anyone with better value for the price. Every car I saw on property was exceptionally clean and competitively priced.I was not comfortable purchasing a car sight unseen and having it delivered, so I flew to Dallas to see the car. Crockett picked me up at the airport and had all the paperwork ready when I arrived. His detailed description of the limited flaws that he saw in the car was more critical than I would have described them. I would not hesitate to have Dallas Auto Exchange ship me a car in the future.

My first time buying a vehicle site-unseen and I was a bit nervous about it. While I did pay top dollar for the year and mileage, the owner paid for shipping from TX to Maine, which was generous and helped. The Rover had a couple of minor undisclosed issues but Crockett took care of the issue that he could by sending a new replacement tire. That impressed me. Crockett was very helpful through the process and always took the time to answer any questions I had.

Its not exactly a comfortable feeling leaving a $40K car in the hands of strangers to help sell; especially after hearing horror stories from others.This was not the case at DAE.
