Ty is great!I hesitate (ha!! if you book all her appointments it will be hard fir me to make one!) to share how wonderfully she carefully waxed my legs, with super fine long blond hair - its a detailed job since its so hard to see till you get outside. She did a great job.She also did a really careful job reshaping my eyebrows. Shaping them to have definite shoulders, and not too bulbous near the bridge of my nose, but a sort of taper all the way to the tail.

Ty at the European wax center is absolutely fantastic in what she does. She’s very experienced and professional. Ty has an amazing personality and always gives her clients customer satisfactory. If you’re looking for a great wax specialist I highly recommend her, you won’t be disappointed.

I dont know where to start really with how great this experience has been. I was greeted with a warm smile and a pleasant conversation with the receptionist Shay. And my wax specialist made the whole process of waxing a Brazilian so easy smooth sailing and professional. Ty is amazing at her job as much as she is hilarious and had a great conversation with me. I didnt even realize we were done with the wax. She had a gentle hand and didnt mind that I pointed out a few stragglers to pick later on. Good, quick service. I only get my face done and it hardly ever takes longer that 15 minutes. I’m always pleased with how my eyebrows look. And the calming serum always cools my face/redness down!

This location used to be good and has since degraded in quality and professionalism.I used to visit a specific waxer who unfortunately left during the pandemic (understandable). I tried another waxer for mens brows and it was a bad experience where they were unprofessional and did a poor job. I then did research to find a waxer that others have suggested in the reviews. She books up quick so I scheduled my first appointment several weeks in advance and she did an excellent job! I was excited to have found another waxer and immediately rescheduled my next wax 4 weeks in advance since she books up quickly.My appointment was supposed to be tomorrow at 6pm and I got a call today at 12pm asking to move it up because the waxer was going to be leaving early tomorrow. I work during the day so I couldnt reschedule - had to cancel. I go online to see when that waxer is next available - September 1st is her next available. I have given this location numerous chances but ever since the pandemic it seems to have gone down hill. It is extremely unprofessional to have to cancel an appointment 24 hours prior to your appointment and when her next available appointment is in several weeks.I will not be returning to this location and will perhaps try another location. However, it might be time to leave the EWC franchise and look for a local waxer if this is how things are done in the Raleigh area.

I was a regular customer of European wax center at other location . But since I didn’t get appointment at my regular location I went to Cary location near crossroads . I was 7 min late due to my GPS but was still within their limits of 9 min delay. Front desk wanted me to reschedule it but I already drove too far and claimed that I am within their tolerance limit of 9 min delay and came too far . Technician was unwelcoming . She started her communication saying that next time if You come late you will have to reschedule the appointment. She literally pulled my skin in delicate area harshly while waxing.. when I screamed she said it’s not bleeding .. don’t worry .. that’s how I do it.. it was as if she wanted to take revenge of me not letting it reschedule.. I am literally feeling tortured .. and shocked how could she do this to customer. it’s almost 18+ hrs .. I am still feeling the pain .. Will never visit this location again.

First of all, this location is convenient to the Cary area so its efficient and the customer service folks are really nice. Ive been coming here every 4-6 weeks for about a year now. However---all due respect to those of you who say that Alexandria is good but I have been trying to find someone that would be more thorough since it always feels like a gamble so I took a risk using her today and was actually really disappointed with how many spots were left after the session. The place was pretty dead quiet too so I was really hopeful that it would be done well. Hoping they can reach out to me in response to this review with some suggestions on folks who actually do a better detail job.

I used to go to this European Wax center location quite often. The staff was always wonderful and friendly, and the results were great, but they have lost me as a customer due to product pushing. I was, at times, made to feel very guilty for not buying certain products because it would make it easier for my waxer to do her job if I did, which I understand, but they didnt accept the explanation that I buy my products elsewhere. It felt desperate, pushy, and unnecessary. Dont nickle and dime me when Im already paying you hundreds of dollars a year!

Ever since I started coming here, everyone has been amazing. I highly recommend SIERRA(Siara? Cierra?) to do your waxing. My first few times in, she was explaining to me what was happening every step so I wasn’t as nervous or left in the dark. She’s friendly and personable, waxing doesn’t hurt after awhile, and she KNOWS what she is doing. I will continue to go to her for my services. Thanks so much to you guys for creating a relaxed environment, you guys are awesome.

I had my first bikini area waxing experience here, they got me in the same day. The associate who took care of me was very good at explaining what she was doing each step of the way. It did hurt like hell at some points! But I am extremely happy with the results, and will go back each month to the same person! Expect them to try and sell you packages and products, but overall a great experience! Professional and clean atmosphere.

Beware of buying a pass! I dont like leaving negative reviews, but I have to in this instance. I liked my waxers, but they all ended up leaving, which was frustrating. I understand people move on but I decided to cancel my pass because it was uncomfortable to keep having new people. The way management handled my refund Is why this is 1 star. They refuse to give you your money back, even if its from a poor customer experience. So now I have a gift card with a hundred+ dollars on it that I cant use except to buy products. I had to talk to them multiple times (including the DM who talked to the owner) and I think its ridiculous they wouldnt refund me in cash. Bad customer service and clearly they value money over their customers.

My first experience and I am sold! I was so nervous going in, but Shante made me feel very comfortable. She kept the conversation going and there was no awkwardness even tho I was bottomless in front of a complete stranger. She gave great tips, thoroughly talked me thru the process and she was very quick but efficient. She offered great suggestions on products. The receptionist was absolutely wonderful and accommodating was an understatement. I didnt get her name but her beautiful and infectious personality was refreshing. My esthetician Alex was nothing short of perfect. She was meticulous with my Brazilian and I felt like I was chatting with my girlfriend when I was really meeting her for the first time and privately exposed. This place needs to tigthen up there game and management/owners need to be on time opening and sch. appointments. Manager was to open store was late said it would take 30 min before they could see me for a 10 min process eyebrow waxing. Little frustrated and left said stuff happens went to resch. called during normal business hours went straight to V.M saying still closed. I own a small business and so important to give the right perspective @ this point taking my business esle where no respect for customers and sch. cant open on time change your hours of operation

I have been here three times so far with three different waxers. I get my back waxed well, because it has started to need it. The people have always been friendly and from my second visit onward they have remembered me.Waxing hurts. There is no way around that. But I can say that at EU Wax they at least try their hardest to make it hurt less. I also am finding that the hair is growing back less each time and it hurts less each time.The products I have tried seem to work pretty well and they did not push them on me which is nice.Everything seems really clean and in its place which I appreciate when it comes to something that potentially could cause a problem if it is not.All in all I would definitely recommend this place and location.

Updating review after speaking with the DM.European Wax Center used to be my go-to place. I have seen a couple different waxers since I started going to this location. All the ones that were good unfortunately left. The comment below that Ive only seen Jade is not correct. I worked with other waxers at this location prior to working with Jade. I question European Wax Centers record keeping / system if they cant see that Ive been a client long before I saw my last waxer. The front desk staff are rude. They speak poorly about customers and other staff members in front of customers. Phone etiquette needs to be improved / training needs to be conducted. When I would call to either book or modify an appointment, theyve either put me on hold long enough that I hung up and called back and they were not pleasant.The fact that product is pushed so hard the moment you walk into the door makes the experience less than ideal. I understand the need to push product, but if I wanted it, Id ask for it. Stop pressuring clients into buying product, that I have to say, smells great, but I didnt really see the difference using it versus the times I didnt use it.Finally, the wax artists that are there now desperately need additional training / need to shadow an experienced waxer. My husbands back was burned (the top layer of skin was missing in some spots). Completely unacceptable. Waxing doesnt need to be a painful experience, but he has reported that the last several times hes gone, its been very unpleasant.Getting a refund on my pass was an effort-- apparently you need to get in touch with the DM to get a refund. I am happy to report after going through that hassle, it is easy to get a refund-- you just need to get someone at a high enough position to make it happen. When I spoke to the DM / manager, they were pleasant. They need to instill this kind of customer service on all of the individuals who work at the Cary location. I appreciate their efforts to refund my passes.

It was my first time going to a wax center & the customer service was pretty good especially the lady that did my brazilian wax for me ( name will not be given ) the only reason I’m giving this place a 3 is because the upsaling was a little too much & I still have hair left in a couple of places ( not stubble either ) I’m very upset especially knowing I spent close to 90 bucks in there!!

Had a great waxing experience. My aesthetician was great and did a good job with my face waxing. She was careful to get all of the hairs--even the really stubborn ones on my chin. Only thing keeping me from giving this place 5 stars is all the up-selling they do. The front desk person will really push you to buy these different passes, and afterwards the aesthetician will encourage you to buy certain products. Theyre nice about it though if you say no.

Waxes hurt. But the calming wax made it hurt a little less. I didn’t believe at first but it sure helped. They do try to upsell you with products. I bought the ingrown serum (it works). I really like Tatianna. Definitely will go back.Update: I go regularly and waxes definitely hurt less more and more ya go. Kaylee is the freakin best! Super quick and she’s the nicest person!

I recently was treated to a service at European Wax Center in Tryon Village, and Ive already made my next appointment. Waxing is never fun, but Heather made it the best experience Ive ever had.The first thing I noticed when I walked into the lobby was how clean the center was, with modern and tasteful decor, very feng shui. The receptionist was quick to greet me and confirm my appointment and gave me some information including pricing...Heads up, they also have prepaid wax packages that can save you some money!Heather escorted me through the frosted glass doors into the private waxing area, which was also very clean with bright lighting. She had me lie down on the table and relax while she explained the process for my eyebrows and lip. The wax European Wax uses is warm, but not hot like at other places...I didnt even know it was on at first! Heather didnt leave it on my skin as long as Ive experienced in the past, and removed it very quickly. She explained that its a special kind of wax that only European Wax Center has and it doesnt stick to your skin, just your hair so they dont have to use strips. She told me each time right before she removed the wax, and it was honestly quick and pretty ouchless.Another thing I really liked about European Wax Center is that they didnt do any suggestive selling of services or products. For example, Heather applied some brow powder and a product they call Shape It to hold my brows in place. I really liked the way they looked afterward, so I bought some, but I never felt any pressure to do so. Their philosophy is that they want everyone to feel comfortable and beautiful in their own skin, and they made me feel like they I was capable of determining what hair, if any, I wanted removed to feel good about myself. While they are not a spa in the typical sense (facials, massages, etc) they specialize in waxing and they do it VERY well!

Even with an appointment be prepared to wait at 15-20 minutes as I have every visit. At this visit, where I arrived on time, I actually had to wait 15 minutes because the appointment ahead of me showed up AFTER I did. What kind of customer service is that?

First time experience. Easy to schedule (I did a same-day appt). Got there, check-in was ok. Did not like the upselling of wax passes and vouchers; I have not tried the service...how would I know if I want to buy 13 more months? Was led to the room after 10mins. It was bare bones, bright overhead light, bed, and you have to disrobe with the associate in the room (I go to Tanas and you are given some privacy to shed your clothes), no biggie. Associate raved about their wax. It took a LOT of passes to get everything. Ive been waxing a long time to know what a LOT is. It shouldnt be this hard. Each pass was painful of course. And she had to do it again and again. After its done, I check and there are STILL some left. Ugh. Not coming back to this one.

This location rarely answers the phone and front desk has been unfriendly. Ive called and been hung up on and placed on hold enough that I wont go to this location anymore.
