I recently went to this salon for the first time to get highlights. After I left, it was nearly impossible to get my hair to blend, as shown in the picture. I told the stylist Rachelle, that I wear my hair with a left part when she did the job. When I called the salon two weeks later, they said we have a 10-day policy for corrections. We can’t do a correction after that. This policy is not written anywhere including on their pricing book, and the stylist never mentioned about a 10-day policy, even after I was charged $285 for this service. You can literally see the stripes in my hair, and the color was dumped in the middle front part of my hair and not even near the roots. I do not recommend the salon based on this bad experience. The manager, Kelsey, said I am sorry but it’s our policy. Next time, you need to tell your customers the policy while you are charging them exorbitant prices.
Emilie M was the best. Absolutely wonderful she explained everything and answered all my questions. Emilie wasn’t pushy nor did she try to get me to buy products I didn’t need. She made recommendations that suited me and my needs perfectly. Kudos to you. You’ve just earned a new customer as a make-up newbie it helps when people are genuine.
I visited today in search of new foundation. I was using Too Faced previously that wasn’t a good fit fit my skin. Chris offered to fit me and took his time trying many different shades. He then suggested the brand Bobbi Brown and honey !!!! The fit is so good I can’t tell I’m wearing makeup ! It also has SPF in it for a added bonus. Chris treated me so kind and he gave a lot of professional advice. I really don’t need a lot of coverage with my skin type. Less is more. Chris is a asset to the company ! Promote him please.
My first experience at The Salon in Ulta was AMAZING! Sher went above and beyond to meet my hair needs. She even made a correction from my last hair stylist that really needed it and I LOVE it. Her scalp massages are heaven on earth and her blowouts are outstanding. Even from leaving a stool to place my feet on while getting my hair shampooed for my little self was pretty awesome. Its the little things that matter to me and is what made my whole experience worth while. Thank you Sher for doing such a phenomenal job on my hair. I look forward to my next visit with you.
The main problem today is lack of stuff, so you need time to find someone for help. But assortment is good as always
Always grateful that when I go out of town and need a specific item that I ran out of or may have left at home that ulta carries the brands that i use and has them in stock.I needed hair care items this trip because all of them for the whole family were left at home onnthe bathroom counter in the travel cosmetics bag. We popped into ulta and managed to get everything we had left at home saving the trip from being a lot of aggravation and head aches. Om not about to listen to anyone complain and whine they dont have the right hairspray or spray wax when I can go here and grab all in one stop.Super quick, in and out.used my coupons I keep saved in the car and managed to get everything I need. They carry nearly everything and always have my brands in stock.

I’m not pleased with my experience at this store. First I enter the store and when I was greeted they asked if I needed help and I said yes and told the lady the brand I was looking for. She told me it was a Sephora brand and they did not carry it.This brand is Bliss keep that in mind. She proceeds to show me to more expensive brands. Same with the next employee acts confused when I asked for Bliss? So I decide to walk around the store myself and sure enough I find Bliss products. That completely turned me off. Lying to try to make more money is tacky. The employees all seemed so overbearing and money hungry and honestly a little weird.
Couldn’t get my hair done today because they “didn’t have” a color in my formula. This location also tried to upcharge me for wanting a style after getting an all over color and blowout, when the style is actually included in the price anyway. Glad the appointment ended up not working out so I didn’t get overcharged, but it was really aggravating to have to deal with a stylist who didn’t seem at all interested in doing her job.
I was wanting a certain skincare product, and it said online they had it in stock, so I headed to this store and it wasn’t on the shelves. I asked an older lady about the product, and she said if it wasn’t on the shelf then they’re out of it and to check back next Thursday. I told her it says it’s in stock online, and she said it’s not accurate. So I went home, and the SAME DAY ordered the product for curbside pick-up and they had it. what a shame the lady lied to me, and made me waste my time.

Went into the store no greeting and no one asked if we needed help! So disappointed with Ultra! The staff was standing around gossiping. They treat people with disabilities horribly! I wish companies would train their staff on how to treat people with disabilities! Violating people with disabilities is a crime!

I felt very uncomfortable in this store. I was curious about creams and lip balms but wasn’t allowed to try anything, not even with clean disposable applicators, which is something Sephora allows. On the low-end side, I wasn’t given any attention but as soon as I stepped over to the luxury side, I felt hounded like I was going to steal something. At one point, I had 3 store reps on me at the same time trying to convince me to buy something. At the end, i felt overwhelmed and so I removed everything from my basket and left.
I dont shop here for myself, but I came with my wife for her to get a haircut. The woman who cut her hair was extremely nice and friendly to her. Also it is very nice that she got 25% off her haircut cost because this was her first haircut at Ulta. Anyone can get 25% off their first haircut. Seems like a good deal to me.
Staff was so helpful and friendly. I have been there before where that was not the case. Everyone smiled with their eyes and helped me pick out exactly what I was looking for. Great suggestions!
Went and got my eyebrows tinted at their Benefit brow bar yesterday by Jessica, today being my first full day tinted. I love it! Looks just like how I fill my brows with makeup! Highly recommend.
Jessica is the very best at doing brows! I can always trust her to make my brows look amazing every time and she’s so friendly!
It was busy but I was still able to have one to one service pretty quickly for skin care regimen and foundation needs. I dont know much about those things. The staff were very helpful.

I’m giving the salon 2 stars because I did have a good experience with a haircut. However, when I was there for the haircut I got quoted for highlights. The price seemed a little steep but I made the appointment anyway. The stylist put my quote into the computer and gave me a print out. When I went in for the appointment for highlights, the price she told me the previous day had nearly doubled. When I questioned why, the stylist told me that the previous quote was for partial highlights not full highlights. I asked her to look into the computer at the quote she gave me last time and she refused, getting really defensive. I went home and looked at the quote I was given initially and sure enough, it said full foil highlights. It just felt to me like they quoted me one thing just to get me back in the door then once I was there, she added on all these extra things like a dryness treatment for $35 that she “said she cannot take off and it has to be done with a color service”. Okay, but why wasn’t that included in the initial quote? I don’t know, just seemed shady. I did not end up getting my color done at this salon because $240 for highlights with no cut is too overpriced.
The store was nice and clean, and most of all I was SO impressed with Emilie, she helped me get a perfect foundation match for my wedding day, and was so knowledgeable and patient!
Purchase some perfume from Ulta Beauty for my birthday desire to try something different unfortunately I was so disappointed/unset after spraying a little on my wrist I noticed it stained my shirt 😢 at that point I returned the cheap product with it’s markup price 108$ 😡 the manager Gina at White Oat shopping center in Garner her attitude/customer service after I explaining the situation her attitude towards me was so unprofessional then she tells me to call corporate office which I will do sadly Ulta Beauty still haven’t responded to my concerns as of September 2021 poor customer service
Dee was very polite and I applaud her for dealing with such a rude manager. The manager had no patience and even shoved my package at me and didnt even give me my phone back after she scanned it. Dee had a coworker there too I didnt get her name yet I feel sorry that they have to work with such a impatient manager.

Employees were gathered at the front and said hello when I walked in but were more interested in talking to each other than helping and there were several of them! Walked around for a while and someone finally helped me after being there and walking the store 4 times trying to find what I needed. Ended up going somewhere else to spend my money.
I needed a new lipstick. My mother-in-law was right, lips.start to disappear after you turn forty. The sales person who first asked if she should help did an absolutely tremendous job of helping me find the best elusive lip color that would look really great on me. About a half a dozen colors later we found the one. This was a great experience. She didnt try to sell me on any particular brand or color she helped me find a color that was going to work well on me.Will definitely go back to Ulta when I need any new cosmetic. Thanks so much.

Ive been going for a few months for a color refresh and Latisha is great! Shes always friendly and chatty, as well as willing to work with me to come up with great hair. Shes amazing at coloring - evidenced in how she takes my naturally black hair to a bright, vibrant teal. Shes great and I would highly recommend her services!edit: wanted to include some pics!
Asked for a partial balayage so I could have thicker highlights and lighter blonde at bottom. They said full would be better, so I agreed. What I got instead was a full foil with very thin highlights throughout, barely lighter than the original color. Yes, theres dimension but not what I asked for. We discussed thick highlights. Theres barely a contrast. Will not go back for hair. Staff was friendly, but I now have to wait and grow my hair back out to fix it. Frustrating.
Fun place to try out new products and pick up some of your old ones. Went in to look around for a few minutes and came out an hour later and $100. Poorer. My kind of store!

Even thought the store was very busy and I needed help and service, she was behind the cash register and not even solved my problem but she gave me the best service ever that I will go out of my way to shop at their branch from now on even though this branch is far from my house. But it is worth the trip to get the best attitude and service. This is how we pay back as a costumer.ThAnk you.
My wife cant stop talking about the salon. Rachelle, the salon manager, did a great job on her hair. She said it was a very comfortable and fun experience. When I walked in to pick her up the staff was polite and professional and they did a great job with hair and make up for what I believe was prom that day.

Fun place to shop. Great location with many great stores in same shopping center. Center very convenient for me. Worth my time usually. Coupons extra incentive. Staff consistently efficient and pleasant at check out. Sometimes ulta brand stock rather light during store sales which is discouraging (my brand preference usually). Great shopping at holidays!!!

I love Ulta. The hair salon at this location is particularly knowledgeable and the sales at Ulta can’t be beaten- $15 liters in January and June, BOGO sales on other items regularly. And there is almost always a $3.50 off coupon if you search online. My only qualm is this location is a bit tight and difficult to maneuver. I much prefer the size at layout of the Beaver Creek store. But I prefer the helpful staff at Crossroads.

Been going to this Ulta for over a decade. Usually been buying online lately, and will now not buy anything from ulta again. A product was stacked in the wrong place, when checking out was shocked to see a very different price. Showed the employee were it was stacked incorrectly so they could fix it. Ive been a retail manager for almost 8 years and have never not honored a price when company error was involved. You honor the price for that one person and then fix it on the shelves so it doesnt happen again. However the employee refused to honor the price and when I asked for the manager she request a walk out and didnt even bring it to the managers attention. I left the store without purchasing anything and will never bring my business to ulta again.
If you go to the salon make sure you know what you will pay. I went for a perm, $83. The stylist trimmed my neckline and charged another $43. My total was $131 with no styling whatsoever. When I disputed the charge I was told that if they touch you with the scissors it is $43. Store manager said there was nothing she could do. When asked if I wanted to leave a tip I was stunned. I said I just left a $43 tip. Absolutely will never go to ulta again for anything. They have nothing that I cant buy elsewhere for less money.
My favorite place to go for all your hair and makeup needs. Especially when you are in your 60s and need the right stuff to feel and look beautiful.
I saw Rebecca today for a brow wax. She did EXACTLY what I asked for. She was also very sweet and professional. I will definitely be back anytime I need my brows waxed even though this isn’t the closest location for me. Worth the drive!
Staff seems to not know how to keep everything clean even the bathroom was dirty... everything was dirty. Nothing is where it goes, they do too much hunching over costumers who don’t need help and are trying to enjoy their time exploring the store in peace

Staff is rude and unhelpful. I have spent a large amount of money at Ulta, and they are completely unwilling to ever make an exception for a customer. I wanted one of the online beauty steals, but they were out of stock online by 11 AM. I came to the store to see if they would be willing to sell the product at the online price since they had the item in stock, and they would not do it. Since it was an online only price, they would not sell the same exact product in the store for that price even though they were out of stock online. As a person working in retail, I know that they can always price override and make an exception to please the customer, but instead they want to follow “policy.” I won’t be shopping at Ulta any longer.
Went in here looking for a simple skin care routine for my husband. Had a nice chat with one of the women who works here. We spent some time looking around. Another lady who followed us around nearly on our heels the whole time. I decided against buying anything because of the second lady. Made me feel super uncomfortable.
Lauren Howard in the Salon is amazing!!!!! I have moved here from Miami 7 years ago and have not found anyone that can do my hair until she did mine today!!! I had a screwed up dye job last week from another salon and she totally fixed it! She is very into blowing out your hair at the end. So just relax and let her do her thing. She is a true artist and is great! Please if you are new to the area or are looking for a new stylist she is your girl! The whole team is amazing! Thank you Lauren and thank you Ulta!

I walked in as a makeup newbie and I was helped right away. The foundation matching was flawless and I received instructions on how to repeat the process at home. I also purchased brushes. Very, very happy!
The products and selection at this Ulta were satisfactory. However, several of the customer service associates were having personal conversations standing in the middle of (and blocking) makeup aisles. I was in the store for over thirty minutes and noticed that most of them did not care to help the customers and were generally unprofessional.
I have been going to Sumer for hair cuts for a while now, and she is absolutely THE BEST! I hate the traffic at Crossroads, but she is well worth it. Five stars to her!❤❤❤
Why do they offer a coupon, then tell you it cannot be used. This happens way too often. Nothing worse than a getting up to cashier and hearing, No, cant be used on this, cant be used on that. Either allow coupons in anything, or better yet, lower the prices on all products and scratch the coupons. Negativity wont keep customers coming back!

Average Ulta. Scheduled an appointment for a facial and nobody showed up, and also received a horrible haircut from one of their salon employees (Nikki). However, Latisha and Rachelle are amazing and the reason why I continue to go back!!! Highly recommend them. This store also seems to be out of stock of things a lot, so I prefer the one in Holly Springs
I shop this location on a regular basis and enjoy it very much. Yes, most times I am in a small line but they have several cashiers working registers. The cashiers are very friendly and knowledgeable. I would say this is a GREAT store sizing my the number of customers they have,

I had never been to Ulta before today and I dont know much about makeup. Nicole was amazing!! She was so helpful and patient.
Ive been to the brow bar a few times and have always had great service, but other parts of the store could be improved. The drugstore section never has quantities of anything popular. The Makeup Revolution section probably had 12 items total in it and all of them were laying stacked so you couldnt see them. If you need assistance, this probably wont be the best store for you to go to because they seem understaffed, but if you find someone to help you, I have always had positive experiences. I hope that they can hire more people because I believe it will fix most of their issues.

Came here on my drive home (back to Knoxville) on Sunday after returning a product, figured I would browse around as I was looking for the ELDW light. One of the makeup artists, Emilee, was available and so approachable. You could tell she was ready to help anyone with questions, and I asked if they carried EL, which they dont, and instead of just saying sorry, she followed up with a recommendation by Lancome. She explained it was very similar but the consistency was a little lighter, which I thought was great because ELDW works awesome in the summer when Im tan but the winter is just a little different. She matched me and gave me enough sample product for a few days of wear. I then mentioned how I wanted a light weight foundation I can just throw on without having to do a whole face and even though she was a Lancome rep, she recommended a product by Clinique, the Clinique fit line. Again, also color matched and gave enough samples for a few days of wear. I wanted to write a review just because of her generosity and willingness to help someone without being overbearing and forceful to make a sale. She didnt care if I was or wasnt buying anything, she wanted to give me solid recommendations to try before committing, and I appreciate that.Also, Im loving the clinique foundation so far! Best salon in North Carolina! Amazing staff! Five star treatment! Feel spoiled when visiting the salon and get the most amazing facials! Its top notch spa treatment at amazing price! Latisha is absolutely amazing with my hair!! I came in from a bad cut;( she helped me growing it out with care! I didnt have to chop off my hair to fix a mistake. My hair is healthy and strong again. She is a talent! Victoria is a amazing aesthetician! I am reaching my late 30s and miss that youthful skin in my 20s and early 30s..I felt open to talk with her about my issues with my skin...she was honest and helped me, the last two facials were suggested for my skin type, can I say seriously I feel I look 10 years younger!! I plan to take a before and after...she is a educated and extremely real, honest and intellectual person who will help repair your skin not just band aid the problem!!! Kudos to this ultra..definitely not your normal makeup store its high quality and a reasonable price!

My daughters like to come here for the selection...no place for Dad to sit while they shop. If you watch what you need, you can get it on sale, otherwise it is a bit pricey for shampoo and such. Id score higher but it is a bit crammed and no place for me to hangout while the shopping is occurring. Checkout was busy but adequate.

Super rude staff went to buy expensive products they would not move out of the way so I could reach the things I needed. No one offered their help when I went to ask questions. I was ignored twice by the staff. I put everything down and left. Also as I was leaving a girl followed me from the isle when I said I cant believe how rude their being and yelled have a great day in a mean tone. Will never be back here .
This Ulta has a new salon manager, Rochelle. She is Awesome. Very professional and truly cares about your hair and the product you use in your hair. She always greets me with a big smile.

8 WEEKS AND COUNTING.....Wow!!! These reviews are speaking for themselves!!!ULTA FIX THIS!!UPDATE: Still no contact. Spoke with customer service numerous times who promised to over night me a check. Still nothing. Currently on hold for over 20 minutes.Update Week 7: Promised to over night me a check on Tuesday. As apparently Tuesday is the day checks are cut...Update week 8: still no check. Now they are promising to send My situation to corporate. Won’t let me speak directly to corporate. Says corporate will contact me. Heard that before... Let’s see.Since the district manager won’t call me back and I have told my story 95 times without ANYTHING happening I will attempt to write out my scenario in the hopes to get SOMEONE’S attention on my matter.On October 28th I purchased $129 worth of products. On November 1 at 12:18 I went to return one of the products which was bought October 28th and a primer (which was too long ago to get money I understand that is only a store credit. The cashier returned BOTH of my items onto a store credit when I asked her where my refund was for the October 28th purchase she said she put both of the items on a store credit. (which by the way I didn’t know I couldn’t use during an internet purchase)At that point in time when the cashier toldMe there was nothing she could do and I’d be forced to sacrifice my cash or a store credit we called the manger over who previously came to talk to My cashier about another employee not unloading a truck in a timely fashion. The manager also told me there was nothing that could be done as the cashier had already totaled out the refund... all before I had signed the receipt... not that that matters.. apparently.We called customer service and spoke to numerous people over a tremendous time... I had my two young sons with me, my mother and I was 35 and 4 days pregnant.The customer service people told me there was nothing that could be done and that I needed to have the credit to the store. The manager hung up. I demanded we call them back as I was not satisfied with this “customer service” they again said nothing could be done. This gentleman offered to mail me a check over night for the amount... which by the way I still have no received.So here I am with a credit towards I store I will never step foot in because now I have a new born and because of the cluster this had caused.... by YOUR employee... and I can’t even use that credit on the internet and I am out of my check which never arrived.While on like filling my “cart” when I couldn’t get the credit to work I communicated with the online agent who stated the district manager would call me... hasn’t happened.Sooooo I called customer service AGAIN yesterday when I was told someone would be calling me back ASAP.. hasn’t happen.What is your resolution to this as I am BEYOND unsatisfied!!This was transaction number 4400 on 11/1 at 12:18 Store 126 Reg 2.
An associate was so rude to my daughter today, hostile during a return, then refused to help her while shopping, pointedly ignored her excuse me for assistance, why do business keep employees who openly hate customers? Weve had very good experiences at the ulta in cary, that store has a completely different vibe. My daughter and I have both shopped, separately, at this location and found it to be both unhelpful and unwelcoming. The Cary location, however, was great, we have curly hair that is hard to get cut right, and my daughter got a spur of the moment cut in Cary that she loves, while I was directed to products which actually work great for me (quidad) after years of searching since whatever Ive used successfully in the past was inevitably discontinued.If you like a shopping experience that doesnt leave you feeling perplexed, unaided and inexplicably loathed by sales associates, avoid this location :)
Great service at the salon!Latisha is absolutely wonderful! She does a great job with my hair! When I said I wanted a trim, thats all she did. Didnt cut off a lot of extra hair, didnt take 2 inches, only took the split ends. WhenI told her I was trying to grow my hair out, she suggested a different shampoo than what I was using that has been absolutely fantastic at helping my hair grow out without splitting. Then, I went to a senior stylist because Latisha was busy, and she suggested another item called anti-snap by redkin which has also helped tremendously! Anytime Ive gone to the salon, Ive had excellent service!Sometimes when just wandering around though, it is hard to find someone to help you out, but when I have found someone, they have always been helpful.Good location and great service, especially at the salon.
