The iconic Lou Taubert Ranch Outfitters is a definite stop in downtown Casper. Even if you have no intentions of buying anything, there are plenty of interesting items to look at. I felt some of the prices were higher than what I could have found elsewhere, however the service and helpfulness of employees was phenomenal.

The owner was great! Everyone in this store acted like they have know you for years. This is what Im talking about when customer service is mentioned this place gets it! Great job! Kudos to the owner. Plus all the items were not over priced but good quality.

Very good selection of western wear, accessories, and home decor. Boots for all price ranges. Stylish outfits, particularly for women. Many, many hats from which to choose your style and fit. Worth visiting if youre in Casper.

A Casper iconic western store. Not box store prices but a good selection of quality clothing and accessories.The staff is friendly and helpful.Parking is on a narrow city street, angled and sometimes full but usually youll find a place just around the block.

Wholly hell I love it here so much to choose from such helpful staff. Very nice quality items. Like Pendleton jackets and blankets the art work, the boots, and jewelry like squash necklace, belts etc. You name it they have 8 levels of quality products.

Went in there with my boyfriend because were from out of state and will be moving to Casper soon. As soon we walked in we started getting the third degree from associates and followed. I was wearing a black Outback duster and cowboy hat (both items Ive owned for a long time. Both items they sell in store and neither are cheap). They followed us, had multiple associates follow us and eventually a tall man asked us to set down our items at the front and come and get them at the end (strongly insinuating that we were shop lifters). For people who sell my exact outfit theyre VERY suspicious of people wearing it. Not mad. Just disappointed. Customer service was disingenuous and made the entire shopping experience nerve wracking. Obviously we had nothing to hide, but Jesus Lou Taubert. What the eff was that?

Its a sweet historical country store for all your needs. The Lou Talberts been around for 100 yrs. The boot selection and price are good. There are many departments to choose from clothing to furniture. 4 floors of merchandise

Its one place in Casper, Wyoming that one shouldnt miss. The staff are genuinely warm and friendly who greet customers with a smile. Youll see their awesome merchandise at the window display and seem to entice you to get inside their cozy shop. Lots of nice jackets (denim, leather, etc), heaps of high quality and jaw-dropping leather boots, best leather belts and wallets, tons of durable jeans, and of course, ot wont be complete without the authentic cowboy hats! The prices are reasonable for the beauty and quality of their products. Truly an awesome experience in this wonderful shop in the town center of Casper.

Impressive and downright interesting store even for the non Cowboy. High quality clothing, men and women as well as gifts and an art gallery to boot. Speaking of boots, oh what a selection of cowboy and western boots and hats. Worth the stop in to have a look see. Bring you wallet youll be digging deep but remember; good quality clothes last years if not a lifetime.

This is a few weeks late posting, but I have HUGE raves for this store! I bought a pair of shoes from the sister store across the street, Katherine was waiting for us when we walked in the door and she was AWESOME, her knowledge of shoes helped me pick what I needed for my job. I needed my shoes stretched (due to my wide feet) so I was sent next door where Richard stretched my shoes in just a few minutes, EXCELLENT customer service thank you so much 💞 I will be a returning customer

What an amazing place! Drive down to Casper to check them out and Im so glad we did! The ladies worked so hard with me to try and find a shirt for the guys in my wedding. They spent so much time with us and genuinely cared and wanted to help! They have a great selection of boots and knowledgeable staff! They helped me find boots for my wedding and stretched them for me. Will be finding more reasons to visit!

Finally found a place that carries my size jeans! And the sales lady was sooo helpful she pulled out every pair that was in my size to me in the dressing room making sure I found the perfect pair. 28×36L is a hard size to find in womens jeans Thank you!!!

Im hesitant to call it harassment, but was hovered over and had merchandise withheld from me as I was browsing the store. I bought my oilskin treatment and left. Not a welcoming place for tourists, which is odd for a place that is actively targeting them. Will not be returning.

Amazing selection of items. However I Felt the sales staff was super pushy, hovered over and I didn’t really have the chance to look at one item before staff was trying to sale me something else. Ended up leaving before being able to look at the whole store.

Was just looking around for souvenirs and such. They seemed to have very high-quality products, though most of the price tags were too much for my meager budget. The employees were so welcoming and friendly though, and its such a unique store that I feel the need to recommend stopping in to anyone visiting the area! A very Western shopping experience. :)

In town for family and needed new boots with all the snow and cold weather. Being from Florida, this store was very intimidating at first. I walked in and Louis gave me the run down of all the inventory on every floor. Having wide feet that rarely fit womens sizes, I found a pair of mens Justins boots. Lou took the time to help me try them on and told me to walk the store. When I came back I let him know that the left boot was pinching my foot. He stretched the boot right then and there. Then proceeded to put them back on, lace them up and helped me put my coat on. A real gentleman! Outstanding customer service! If you are in the market for boots or western wear, I highly recommend this place!! It may seem overwhelming at first but the team there makes you feel right at home! I will definitely be back! Seems like a nice place with nice folks. I dont do much western wear, but they have all you need. The boot selection is pretty out of this world.

If you are a tourist, city rat, etc... and you are looking for a pair of boots, a hat or just want to dress up, you have to shop here. You cannot buy the experience in fitting a pair of boots or shaping a felt or straw hat. The chain stores are a bit clueless honestly. Dont go back upset, go back happy.

While on vacation we stopped here. A real rancher will not be disappointed. We spent 2hrs there and left with double arm loads of clothes and boots. Wish we had one in Florida.

Classic Wyoming outfitter. I make it in there only once every few years and it is always the same outstanding products and helpful staff. If they dont have it, you dont likely really need it.
