Had a great experience here. Needed a RV for a work related trip so I could bring my family along. Had a solid selection and found an amazing 90s model Rambler for a fair price. Frankie was very helpful and got me the info I needed to prep a loan. Then when my bank didnt want to underwrite it, they offered us a good deal for a better interest rate, The down payment was a little steep, and when I called to let them know we couldnt quite hit the mark, the owner answered, After Hours, and offered to take $2000 off the down payment. These folks really want to help you get what you need, and they are extremely fair minded and genuinely want to get you set up with a good vehicle. I had a great experience and look forward to dealing with them on my next 9 to 5 vehicle.

They have no problem selling an unsafe vehicle that has severe rust issues and is falling apart With the sway bar is completely detached due to the rust deterioration see the photos. What concerned me the most is The sales person was not phased and didn’t seem to care When I brought this to his attention that this is terribly unsafe, it seems like he knew about it.I was looking to buy this for our family, but will steer clear of this dealership!

These people are really great. Very helpful and friendly. They have a ton of cars, trucks, suvs, travel trailers and boats. All makes and models also any year. Prices are not very negotiable though ( so they say, because they are close to thier cost). But posted Prices are very reasonable. We drove almost 300 miles to get there because of Prices. They have financing ( in house) available ( but you have to be from Colorado, or they use local credit unions to find you financing). I highly recommend you visit them first ( or at least before) if youre interested in getting a different vehicle.

I bought a super cool 1970 F250 for my daughter a few years ago, and got a smokin deal on it at $1000 out the door! It needs a lot of love, but I bought it specifically to teach her to work on her own truck (kinda a right of passage in our family). This thing has zero rust on it, and is straight as an arrow. Hopefully well have it up and street legal in a few more months (our lack of time and funds, not the fault of Berkenkotter). Thanks for keeping cool gems here and there for those of us who love and appreciate our classics and see the value in them :)

We came to Berkenkotter looking for a travel trailer with a bunkhouse for our grandkids and new they had one in stock. Soon as we walked in the door we felt welcome and not only did we get our camper, we got a better deal then listed!!! Wade our sales associated was the best and everyone else had great attitudes!! I will not only recommend this place to others I will continue to do business with this place!!!!

The owner is patently rude, easily offended, and doesnt seem to understand what normal operation and maintenance of a vehicle is supposed to be. He doesnt understand good customer service, let alone how to communicate or hold a conversation without interrupting, talking over you, prejudicial, and will make repeated attempts to insult you and your friends or family. I think its a learned strategy over the years of how to get rid of people who have complaints after a sale. Most of the employees seem smug, lazy, careless, and arrogant; and their shop mechanic lied about using an OEM part that they replaced prior to the sale. Luckily, our salesman seemed nice and tried to do a good job but, after all was said and done, Id never recommend anyone buy a car from these people.

Bought a Gently Used 2013 Coachman Apex 31 foot Camper . Salesman Frank was Great !! Service folks Eduardo was Fantastic!! He was so helpful getting me through the process of what and what not to do being my first camper.5 weeks later we had a small issue with the slide and Dan Berkenkotter was so helpful with telling me to bring it on down and they hopped right to it and go me in and out.

Bought a silverado truck off of them and had to fix a boost leak and put tires on it and they had to take it back after I bought it and fix a exhaust problem but its been a great truck i just wish there mechanics were better at looking stuff over but I got a great deal on the truck and Marco my sales guy was amazing and will and have recommended people to buy vehicles from here but have a mechanic you trust to look at there cars 1st before buying i my self will purchase from them again

1st- Not even 1 person came out to speak with us!!2nd- Car lot covered in ice & snow - There was no salt put down to remove ice! No one made any attempt to remove snow around any vehicles or even a path to walk on!3rd- No available spots to park, had to park across the street.4th- We went to look at motorhomes, all of them showed signs of being worked on! You couldnt even open a door to look inside of motorhomes! The 1 I did get into, I literally had to get my knee on the floor & pull myself up to get inside. Whilr walking through in the back bedroom the wall had a leak & was torn apart.In my opinion a wasted trip!!

I’ve never had an experience that went as well as this one did when coming to buying a car and being taken care of. Bj and Dan helped me through an extremely rough time. Not only giving me a killer deal on a very nice car that only had one owner previously and only 45,000 miles on it! They went above and beyond after I left the lot with a few issues I’ve had and they didn’t even hesitate to help. I never felt pressured into something I didn’t want to do and they constantly looked for what I needed until they could fit my needs and budget. They treat me like family and we just meat. I recommend them to everyone. Their warranty add on for the vehicles are more than worth it. It has kept my car to be able to be fixed even though it was a buy as is vehicle. Worst dealership ever. Seem trustworthy in the beginning and make it seem like a steal of a deal... bought a used truck four months ago and have had to replace almost $6,000 worth. Will never buy from them again.

We backed out of one deal because Alan couldnt give us information about a repair. So, we kept checking their website and found a few 5th wheels that we liked. After a few emails and phone calls, we felt as though they didnt want to deal with us. I had a friend call about one of the 5th wheels that we were told was sold, it is in fact still available just not to us apparently. I gave two stars because Frankie was polite and professional on the phone and responded quickly to my emails.

This place sold my daughter and her mother a car they said was in good shape and had been inspected. Since we had the car it hasnt run and it unreliable. weve gone back to them numerous times to try to get them to fix it and do the right thing but they try to do very minimal and completely change after youve bought the car. Dan the owner is just as rude and he stated that he does so bad cars time to time and it depends on whether he likes you on whether he will help you or not. They give small car dealerships that bad reputation and come across as sleazy and that customer service. Do not buy a car here without getting inspected by third-party youre much better off going to a large reputable dealership. Regret ever doing business with them.

I didnt go there to buy a car, I went there to get my VIN inspected to get my plates. Everywhere else charges $20+ dollars and he did it for free, and was super nice. IF my truck ever dies, this will be the first place I look to get another. I would not hesitate to trust him.

I bought a 2010 Audi A5 2.0T with approx. 65,000 miles from Berkenkotter, I experienced a no pressure sales process and easy finance options. I do not usually buy warranties but the warranty sold by Berkenkotter was reasonably priced and was very comprehensive, so I purchased it. I noticed after driving the car it was consuming a quart of oil every 600 miles and periodically the check engine light would come on for a turbo under boost fault. I took the car back to Berkenkotter, the oil consumption was a known issue with this model of car and was at one time covered by Audi under a recall program, this particular car had timed out of that recall. Dan at Berkenkotter loaned me a car off of his lot, investigated the issues and not only replaced the turbo but did the work Audi would of done under the recall to correct the oil consumption issue. Technically some of the work was not covered under the warranty but Dan honored it anyway. The responsiveness and service received was first class and would not hesitate to work with them again when I need my next vehicle. A few years ago I consigned an F450 with them, had a very similar experience, they sold the vehicle in a short period of time with very fair rates. Very Pleased!

Steve with the Castle Rock dealership is arrogant and rude. He lacks any customer service skills. He was so rude I didn’t even bother going forward with financing.

This was a terrible place to deal with. We wanted to buy a truck and camper at the same time and the guy who helped us acted like we were inconveniencing him. We were told that the price on the car and camper were the price and there was no negotiating! We were told that for the truck we had to have 25% down and for the camper we had to have 30% down and that was there policy regardless of your credit. We left extremely disappointed. We came all the way from Southern Colorado to buy from them. It was a horrible experience and we wouldnt recommend them to anyone!

I Bought a used camper trailer from here recently. After being to many dealerships with very pushy salesmen, it was nice not to feel any pressure from the sales people here. Its not your typical dealership, definitely a lot more relaxed. They gave me the space I needed to spend a good chunk of time alone just walking around inspecting the inside and outside of the camper. If I had a question there was someone to answer and a mechanic close by for further questions. I enjoyed finalizing the paperwork with Frankie, which was a quick and easy process. Overall I had a good experience.

Eddie and Wade were extremely helpful and knowledgebale with helping us buy our motor home. This is the first motor home we have purchased and they educated us on how everything works and gave us a lot of good information and tips on how to best utilize it and save energy on the battery and generator. The staff checked the vehicle to ensure everything was in good working condition before we purchased the motor home, Eddie made some small last minute repairs and even helped us with questions after we purchased the vehicle! Wade was also willing to stay after hours to help us with our financing since my husband works late.

My husband and I purchased a car there last month. It was a very good experience. It was very low-pressure sales. We have never had such low-pressure sales, ever. I believe they want to make sure you are comfortable with the car and not annoyed that someone is around you telling you how you should buy the car. The first time we stepped onto their lot, we just said we were looking and they just let us look without bugging us, so we came back about 2 weeks later to see what else they had on their lot. Both times, Frankie was the one who helped us.When we decided to purchase a car, we told them the range of payment we were looking for. The challenge with getting a car in our family is not just needing to have a car we could afford, but having a car my husband can drive. He is very tall; not just any car is going to work where he can fit AND see what he needs to see through the window without something blocking his view. This is the first time I had been to Berkenkotter Motors and I am very pleased with the way everything was handled. I wont ever go to another dealership as long as I live in Colorado. My salesman was on top of things for me. I came in to test drive a vehicle that I had been looking at and told him it wasnt the right vehicle and him and I sat down and talked about what I really wanted out of a vehicle. He called me 3 days later and told me he found the one for me. I went in and test drove it and sure enough it was the one. The best part of it all was I filled out my credit app, went home then the next day went back and signed all the paperwork and then off I went with my new car. NO HASSLE WHAT SO EVER!!!! Clean up the car and sell it knowing its faulty and defective. thought they were a family company with a real moral compass and not like the other sleazy car lots, but that is just a front. they just want to get the cars they buy at auction for next to nothing off there lot as fast as they can, taking advantage of peoples trust. absolutely my fault for trusting, just really disappointing

Granted, THEYRE low pressure, but to the point of not being helpful? Cars too close together, most had hail damage, lot was trashy, and one of the workers thought it was more important to man a bbq grill than talk to potential customers, the other took a phone call and walked away while we were talking to him. NOT pleased, wont go back.

A little tough to find parking, but the guys working there are great.EDIT - After purchasing an RV from them almost 3 months ago we are STILL dealing with their trail of mistakes! Bought the Win-Win extended warranty - that was our first mistake. Mike is probably the worst person a dealership could choose to put in charge of such an important task. He refused to cover services that should have been covered under the warranty (I can only assume because he didnt feel like working that week); He wouldnt call to tell us the services were being denied, but instead the mobile repair guys THAT HE TOLD US TO CALL had to call and tell us; If you ever need to talk to him about covering something and he doesnt feel like talking that day(s) he just wont take your call - he screened our calls for 4 days when trying to get our RV fixed. It took a month of dealing with his nonsense before we called Berkenkotter himself to get a refund. NOW, were being told by the police that when Berkenkotter motors bought the RV from auction in another state that they didnt get the VIN verified or get the RV inspected in CO (both of which must be done when buying a vehicle and bringing it to CO to sell) AND they gave us a COPY of our temp tag. THE COPS ACCUSED US OF THEFT!All I can say at this point is that if youre bored and enjoy spending your evenings talking to the cops and your days trying to track down a childish warranty rep who screens your calls - go to Berkenkotter motors! These guys will take your money and leave you with a long trail of trouble that we havent even found the end to yet.

Horrible! We bought a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a warranty from them, within 24 hours it was back in their service shop getting fixed because our main rear seal broke and the windows stopped working. It was constantly in there shop for repairs for the time we had it. After almost a year of having the vechile, the motor in it had blown. They said ok thats no problem we will tow it to our shop and fix it. They finally called us almost 3 weeks later to tell us it was not fixable. We get a bill sayomg they where charging us 5,000 for a towing fee... Which is funny because that is about the same amount that was still owed for the vechile....

We bought a used camper from Frankie at this dealership a year ago so our family could enjoy the Colorado countryside. A year later, after pullin the camper out of storage, we discovered SEVERE water damage that had occurred well before we were sold the camper. I brought the camper back to the owner of Berkenkotter to discuss any options we had. Dan, the owner, worked tirelessly to get us out of that camper and into a much nicer and newer camper that will fit our family’s need well into the future! They took a very stressful situation and turned it into a positive experience! Thank you to Dan and Frankie and the staff at Berkenkotter Motors!

Well they got me in the camper that I wanted it took a little work but they got me in it, The interest rate was high the price seemed fair but I really like the camper so I guess for that I pay the price, if you’re looking for something and your credits not perfect they will help you get in the vehicle or RV that you need but you will need a significant down payment so far I’m very happy with the camper and experience was good, Sometimes Frankie comes across the wrong way but in the end he wants to make a deal it may not seem like it but he does.

Basically, I was screwed.I found myself between a truck and a hard place. My truck that I had purchased from big Ford 3 years ago, had collapsed and I had had enough. I called up Harti at berkenkotter in colorado springs.He took my information, took down what I could pay down (not much) and then put me in touch with the castle rock guys Glenn and Frankie to get me taken care of.I hitched a ride down to wilcox and met with frankie. He helped me quickly, found me something within my price range that they could finance in house to avoid trying to go through the hundreds of banks they deal with to get me taken care of as quickly and efficiently as possible.Thats when I met Dan, with a quick high five after answering a couple of questions, he approved me for what I needed to get into a vehicle.The car had been sitting for a bit, and the battery was in need of replacing, it was then that Frankie got it boosted and then from the sounds of it may have welded the terminals together (kidding).They agreed to replace the battery.Instead of playing whats the manager say and haggling prices that are seemingly non existent like with other dealerships. They gave me their bottom dollar up front and we took care of the paperwork.I walked in at 520 and drove out at 630. DONE AND DONE.This is the dealership you want to go to, theyll take care of you. Just like they took care of me.
