Great local place in Castle Rock to grab some coffee, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. It was pretty packed with people having meetings and working /studying. There is street parking and also side parking spots but very limited. I ordered a Caramel Latte with half the amount of syrup. It was delicious! I only gave 3 stars though because they were out of Almond and Soy milk and I’ve never been to a coffee place where they run out of specialty milk. So I ordered coconut milk instead of my almond milk. Other than that it’s a real castle rock coffee gem.
Love the coffee and non-coffee drinks at Lost Coffee. Appreciate that they have gluten-free pastries too! Great atmosphere to work or meet with friends. Special thanks to Connor for ringing up a million gift cards for me. The world is a better place with Lost Coffee in it!
Great place in downtown Castle Rock. Super friendly, they had something for us and our kids. We enjoyed it!
Not super into coffee but they happened to have fresh brewed everytime i went and never failed me. They do get a little packed and tend to become slowed down and can make minor errors (it happens) and iv had to deal with getting my order fixed or add a tad bit of syrups to add to. But overall good service and tasty coffee. Always made for a good morning walk around town.
Rare i come across a 5-star espresso but this was very smooth with no hint of bitterness. The barista took care and knew what she was doing. I appreciate you.
The best part of great coffee shops is awesome flavor, correct temperature, and accessibility in the way the staff and product present in the inviting and accommodating space of a vast world of coffee.Lost Coffee is good, nice and easy stop in Castle Rock, between Colorado Springs and Denver. With a nice location in an interesting town, I think they could become great. Standard espresso drinks, drip, baked goods, check out their menu. Clean machines (most times), with basic roast and decent preparation. Alt milks available.
Nice coffee joint for a variety of teas/lattes
Cool place 😎 good coffee ☕️ great staff 😃BUT need power at more tables. I work from home (which can be confused with work at home which I don’t work at home) so in between customer visits I like to stop at coffee shops to send quotes, place orders, check email etc... sometimes I need a little juice for the SurfacePro. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a spot with power here 🙁Ps... love the sippy cup lids for the cold brew 😂 made me feel young at heart.
So so coffee shop. They pull weak shots and whole bean coffee is second rate but to their credit is from an outside roaster. Looks comfortable enough, has some outdoor seating, but lattes taste like milk with a tiny bit of espresso and I asked for an extra shot. Dazbog isnt any better so now I make my own pour-overs at work.
My favorite little coffee shop in downtown Castle Rock. Each cup is expertly crafted and artful. The chocolate oatmeal energy bites pair well with coffee.
Great service, food & drinks however I will not come back if there isnt hot sauce for your burritos next time....and to respond to the Owner. I was actually joking but even your staff want you to bring it back. I know Bonfire having lived in Golden.Your coffee is pretty good & if I was in the area of downtown I wouldnt hesitate to stop in however very close by I have two other choices that have been consistent for my americano but now I have found a great burrito choice for a pretty quick grab with all my running around. My opinion, take it or leave it if you have burritos offer salsa or picante sauce. I appreciate your well wishes but I suggest getting some packets of hot sauce for the customers out there that agree with me. I get around to many coffee shops and quick bites & have found sauce is offered with food. I look for the ones that have it all. One stop shop in my busy life is key.
Been here many times and completely forgot to review. Theyre a very good local coffee shop with a great selection. Talented and friendly baristas. Never had a bad experience coming here.
Amazing environment, very friendly staff and good prices!
Spicy chai is my new weekend routine. Great friendly staff. (Stop in next door and get fantastic cupcakes too)
Very friendly and helpful. Fun area kind of feels like small town main street...
One of my favorites in Castle Rock! Unbelievable bean roasted for great flavor. Whether you go with drip or a pull you cannot go wrong!
Had the Mexico brew and it was delicious..Popular little coffee place, was in at busy time so service was a little slow but overall not to bad..I think they should get customers name and call out when order is up because there was a little confusion on whos coffee was ready but otherwise cool little coffee house.
Come on Scott its been weeks since Ive had a nitro cold brew! Get that machine fixed! Ill come over and help you dang it!
The only thing I lost here was my dignity. It isnt right that the coffee should be so good that I got 9 drinks in one sitting and dropped them down the hatch so fast that I still cant taste anything but the burn and the heavenly taste of Lost Coffees Coffee..Id do it again..Im a heart beat.
Locally owned, locally roasted. Good atmosphere, coffee is delicious and service always friendly and prompt.
I love the atmosphere of the cafe. It’s a good place to study, work, or read.
Great atmosphere and super great customer service
Great coffee and great atmosphere to work or meet a friend.
Amazing coffee! We had just an 8oz cappuccino each and the espresso kept us up! Plus it didn’t taste burnt, it was smooth and the milk was perfect texture. You can tell a lot about a coffee shop by getting a classic espresso and milk order, so I’m a fan!
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, good coffee, and nice location.
The ladies who served me were super friendly. The rest of the staff there were very welcoming. The coffee is always good there.
The atmosphere and decor are lovely and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. I didnt care for my first order and they noticed, then offered to immediately make me something more to my liking. Top notch, and a great place to get some work done in a quaint part of town.
What a coffee. Amazingly made. Great taste. Super location.
The cafe is nice and open in the quaint area of downtown Castle Rock. There is a very good feel to it and people were friendly. The almond milk mocha was delicious and just the right temperature. The nitro cold brew was ruined by MY addition of oat milk which made it taste like the fermented mares milk of Kyrgyzstan. This was done by me and not the staff, it was MY mistake. I am fairly certain that the cold brew by itself would have been delicious, but I didnt taste it before adding the oat milk. For the love of everything good and holy, do NOT make my mistake. I highly recommend this coffee shop and would happily return to drink a pure cold brew.
THE best coffee AND service is Castle Rock.
Great coffee and excellent service!
Very very very good coffee!,forget Starbucks 😏You guys are the best!
Nothing special. (Nope, were not Starbucks people. Just wanted good coffee, not a flavored water concoction.)
Nice atmosphere especially but definitely not your highest end coffee. Baristas are nice but I’ve never been super impressed with the espresso pulls. Additionally, there are always flies buzzing around and I haven’t seen any measures to prevent them from bothering you while you drink your coffee.
I always enjoy this laid-back coffee shop. They have inside seating as well as outside and the coffee is delicious
I found my new meeting place in Castle Rock. Super yummy Chai!
My favorite place to meet my friends from Denver.
Super friendly
I love the half sweet, half spicy chai latte!
Customer service is great and the coffee was VERY STRONG and tasty. This place does not mess around when it comes to a caffeinated cup of joe.The name is awesome too, lost coffee #getlost
This is an excellent place to grab some really well crafted coffee. It is a bit more in favor of the bold and that suits me quite well. Worth every penny over Starbucks or what not. Great staff and a cozy atmosphere as well!
Meh.Loud.Coffee is just okay.Looks like a locals hangout
Forgot my wallet at home and tried Google Pay for the first time. I couldnt get it to work and later at home, I noticed that I forgot to turn on NFC on my phone. However, they still gave me the coffee I ordered - without charge!!! Great staff and customer service. Thank you!
Outside seating and propane heaters make this favorite downtown Castle Rock coffe shop an ongoing pleasure. Friendly staff, COVID careful, good products, and in the heart of the downtown buzz.
Great little place. I love the cappuccino.
Wonderful, cozy coffee shop.
The coffee and other drinks here are as good as any in Castle Rock. They have appetizing and healthy choices with sandwiches that can be heated in their sandwich press. A small selection of appealing cookies and other pastries is available. Come early in the day for more choices.Lost Coffee always has music playing a little too loudly for conversation. At peak times, there are a dozen conversations trying to speak over the music and each other. The only good tables for conversation will be outdoors along the sidewalk. If you are coming to read, study, or listen to your own music, earplugs or ear buds with good isolation are needed. There are four seats at the bar with power outlets. Be prepared for little wait for a seat to open up.You have easy access to parking from Perry Street. There is a complete parking lot in the rear. Some spots are reserved for the fire department next door. Watch for signs. Parking is tight at peak times.
Great coffee and nice staff!
Had a delicious cold brew! Very nice staff! Indoor and outdoor seating. Bakery next door.
A very boutique coffee shop with a limited but quality selection of coffee and products.
Awesome coffee and staff. Lost Coffee has a great selection of drinks. This is also a great place to swing by and work while enjoying a cup of coffee. They also have cold brew too. Yum. If youve not stopped in yet, take a few minutes to check it out...and grab some caffeine.
I love Lost Coffee! It’s been my go-to coffee place since moving to Castle Rock. I was sad when the other location closed down as it felt more family oriented. This location however is super cute, attractive, clean and always very friendly. It’s not a place I’d take the kids but it’s a nice play to meet with friends or go for a casual date with the hubby. Coffee is always good, service is quick and friendly:)
Great coffee, service and setting. Support local!
A wonderful coffee spot in old town Castle Rock. Superb coffee!
Wonderful coffee! This is a very clean environment that has delicious black coffee. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable on their products. I would highly recommend this location for a day of work or reading a good book.
Always a good place to meet.
What a charming little coffee shop! I love the outdoor seating and the connected bakery! Im always shocked when a coffee shop runs out of freshly brewed coffee but, I come fron a place where there is a fresh pot 24/7, so it didnt bother me to have to wait awhile. It was worth the wait!
Best coffee in Castle Rock
This place is great. Not o lay is the coffee a great price they also happily refill it. I have had mini meetings here and just sat and relaxed. Never was my coffee cup empty. Additionally the staff is real friendly and fun to be around. Never showing a bad day face. So far I have shade a few of the pastries and they have been great. I find my preference is towards the cinnamon rolls that are the size of a price of cake. Great place, great staff, great food, great coffee. Cant beat 4 aces
Great environment great coffee, wonderful people. I have been going for a while and the baristas began to remember me and my orders and are so welcoming
Great tasting coffee with a cool vibe and friendly service
Best iced americano I have had.
Consistently great product and service for a competitive price around town. Great for convos and hang outs due to many various seating options, great for studying or quiet time alone because it is a clean, minimally decorated interior with good lighting and little distraction. I recommend the teas and cold brew.**Edited: prior to the above, I had this at 3 stars review saying I wish they had larger sizes for the price because I would order a large and get a cup that was by any other places standards very small. The owners reply is below, and made me aware, I was probably just given the wrong size, rather than it being an availability issue. I have since updated the review. I have no way to reply to the question in the reply.
Absolutely fantastic! Great atmosphere, great coffee, excellent staff!Ive been a regular at Lost Coffee Downtown for about 3 months, and have always enjoyed what I have ordered. The staff are kind, and very helpful (they even know my name!), and the coffee is always great.Overall, 5/5. Great coffee shop!
This is a great local joint and a far better alternative than the cookie cutter Starbucks. They have a nice selection of snacks, coffees, pastries and everything is very reasonably priced. The setting and location is ideal on a quiet Corner in Old Town Castle Rock. Parking is abundant with easy access from nearly every direction. Staff are super friendly and always happy to see you. I definitely prefer this over the typical Starbucks. The setting is open and bright and has lots of light from Windows around the entire space. I definitely recommend this place.
Headed over to this place after ice skating. Very friendly staff, that is quite helpful. The atmosphere of the shop is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. I ordered an iced white mocha, and I was very pleased.
Horrible horrible coffee place. I’m severely allergic to dairy and I specifically told the barista not to put dairy in my drink and to put coconut milk instead. I get my drink and I immediately taste dairy. Whenever I get dairy my throat closes and my skin itches. I’m extremely disappointed in this place. Also when I received my drink it tasted like water and cow’s milk. I’m so angry I might sue the place.
What a charming little coffee shop! I love the outdoor seating and the connected bakery! So good coffee and friendly staff. Surely be back here.
The staff is always friendly, and the space is modern and light! I love their holiday seasonal menu - the gingerbread latte is my favorite holiday drink this season!
We have mens bible study every Saturday at 7:30, so I go there a lot. The people are always nice the coffee is good and the atmosphere is small town. Lots to see but not so crowded its chaos. Its better than Starbucks thats for sure.
I ordered a hot chai latte and it wasnt anything special. I actually didnt even finish the last few sips because there was a lot of that left over weird stuff at the bottom of the cup. Not sure if those were tea leaves or something of the sort. The place was nestled in historic castle rock and had a nice feel to it. Id probably go back and try something else.
The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is great. The only thing that was odd is the small amount of choices. Ill go back though. Their white chocolate mocha is delicious.
Friendly staff, great coffee, and a cozy location. Would highly recommend.
Lost Coffee is in old town, downtown Castle Rock, but still somehow cozy. Good coffee, good spicy chai, and good service.
Super friendly staff, always get my order right, and prices are reasonable. Good quality coffee too. I like the location as it’s right in the heart of the action in CR. Try this coffee shop, you will like it. Don’t let starbs rule the world. :)
Poggers
Always enjoy having off-site work meetings here. Every employee is friendly and has a great attitude. Love the loyalty card and ease of transactions. Excited for the new location they opened and that they are doing well!
Great coffee! A little busy but still a cool little place
Yummy...and always nice staff...clean
Lost Coffee is a great place to get coffee on these cold mornings. The place is wonderful and their bakery is fabulous. We just added them to our 365 things to do in Castle Rock Blog. Great Place to check out!
This place is great. Wonderful coffee and a nice environment! Check it out. I always buy a bag of the house blend to take back to Missouri.
One of my favorite places to go when Im home! everyone is amazing and when you go as much as I did they really get to know you and are just amazing people. I love lost coffee and just everything about it
My hubby and I always visit here when we go on a date night. The coffee is always good and the service is always exceptional. We like that it is open late enough for date night.
Nice little spot to go and get a cup of coffee
The service is excellent, while the food choices are limited, they are good. Im not a fan of their coffee. I definitely wish they had soy as an option. Instead almond milk is the only non dairy option available
Such an amazing place! Our favorite place for coffee hands down. Great staff and atmosphere. A must stop when we pass by. Highly recommended!
Very good coffee
The place to go in Castle Rock for great coffee. The also have pour over coffee too.
