I dont normally write reviews but I wanted to give a big shout out to Kenny, the tech, that fixed our garage door today. Kenny was by far the best tech I have had at our house in years for any type of repair. He was knowledgable, thorough, kind, professional, and educational. Had 1 Clear Choice out in September 2020 to replace our garage door, all went well. But then in April of this year, 2021. The garage door started making a loud popping noise when opened, just as it reached the fully open position. Watched it and noticed the actual track was popping literally out from the wall and bending sideways.Called 1 Clear Choice and scheduled an appointment for April 22nd between 8-10am. When the technician showed up I showed him what it was doing and he immediately asked if we had the door lubed. I stated, no, since it was done in September of last year, only 7 months ago.He stated it just needed to be lube. I said fine, go ahead and do it, but stated I didnt believe greasing it up would work. I also stated my surprise that if that didnt work why wouldnt the problem be covered under warranty. Again, I said go ahead and do it.Then I proceed to go back into the house because it was 36 degrees out and I didnt have a coat on. The technician immediately stated if I was going to walk away he wasnt going to do anything. He also started in about me signing a contract when I purchased the door. At that statement I told him not to do anything and leave because of his attitude. He immediately became more intimidating and entered my garage demanding and trying to intimidate me, along with not letting me close the garage door.I at that time stated he was trespassing and needed to leave immediately, had to repeat that statement twice before he left my garage.I called another garage door company who came out the next day, April, 23rd, 2021. Inspected the door operation and immediately and found two problems. One was the bottom wheel was bad and this had caused the track to flex, becoming week. He replaced the wheel, adjusted the track and it worked great. No more noise.Only other problem is the weak track which is on order and will be replaced.1 Clear Choice definitely doesnt honor there Warranty.Think twice before using.

Their website provided pricing estimates which I found very helpful to understand how big ($) my garage door problem was. Called and scheduled a maintenance appointment with One Clear Choice due to what I thought was a minor issue. Making the appointment was easy and quick, and the scheduler was extremely helpful in explaining the cost and process. The tech that showed up was Issac. He called 5 minutes before he arrived just to give me a heads up he was around the corner as a courtesy. He showed up right on time. When this company shows up, you know who they are. The truck had a full wrap and it is obvious this company stands behind who they are. Issac worked quickly to determine multiple major issues. He walked me through everything, step-by-step so that I could make the best possible decision on what I wanted to have done. Never did he try and upsell me, or convince me to fix something that wasnt broke. He was straight forward, and honest about everything that was wrong with the door. Travis did a fine, quick job getting our door to function properly again with a minimum of fuss. This is the 3rd or 4th service call from One Clear Choice since weve owned our home and theyve done great work each time (the repeat calls have been due to things breaking and/or wearing out, not to correct their work).

I was very pleased with Matt VanSickles work. We discussed the specific repairs that I wanted corrected. He pointed out a couple of additional repair options during his visit. The repair was completed in short order and the job site was left clean of any waste. Job well done!

Do not ever take One Clear Choice up on any promotions without a full quotation of what might be involved. I wanted a broken spring changed on my double door – a $128 Special. I called One Clear Choice from a normal published promotional. I was told I would have to wait a week to schedule the replacement, which I assumed would be just the spring. There was no mention on the part of the company representative, that I might need a review of the situation and a “transparent” quotation of the entire job. When the crew arrived, they began removing all parts necessary to replace the spring then laid on me all the various problems they saw. I had to make decisions on the run under pressure without my having a proper ability to inspect the pieces myself, or argue my case. I felt helpless at that point. Not a good position to be in. The job ended up costing nearly $1000. They recommended I had to replace the rollers, 10ea. $4 rollers at Lowes, Chinese made, charged me $186, installed. Then they tell me I need both door tension rollers replaced, $82. End bearing plates and center bearing, not needed, or advised in advance, $163. Then they move the spring position to an easier stud location for re-installing, causing a door opening issue, which then led to new opener being recommended to solve a problem I did not have till they showed up, $400 +$110 installation. Prior to their coming out to replace the spring the old door opener was fine. I called and spoke with the Manager who was totally tone-deaf. Worst service I have ever experienced with such a home repair. They had to cut through my dry wall to install the new tension rollers, leaving behind a big mess of gypsum and dust all over my garage and did not clean up and left a dozen or more staples all over the garage floor - a tire flattener for sure. If you choose One Clear Choice, make they come and give you a proper, transparent and proven example of all parts that require repair and get a hard quote up front so you will not have to go through my experience.

Our repair man was Steven, and he proved to be one of the most thorough and professional people with whom Ive ever dealt. Are they expensive? The price was far less than their competitors. One Clear Choice arrived on time for our appointment to repair a minor problem with our garage door. We had planned on replacing our opener in the near future so we decided that it was as good a time as any to go ahead with the replacement. Another appointment was made for 3 days later.The service tech, Mario, arrived on time and installed our new opener. Because of a misunderstanding, I was contacted by the shop owner who graciously listened to my experience and expressed a very sincere effort to satisfy a customer. His response was immediate and thorough, with full correction of my garage door opener issues and I replaced my 15 year old LiftMaster with a new. His installer was exceptional, efficient and even educational. I highly recommend this company and this shop for their high quality response and service.

We had both of our garage doors replaced in January including adding new openers. We decided to get the insulated doors and we couldnt be more happy with our decision. Clear Choice not only recommended the products but they have the best installers and maintenance people around. We needed a light tuneup on our smaller door after 6 months and they showed up and took care of everything in a very timely manner. We couldnt ask for more!

I have been treated well by One Clear Choice Technicians, both last year when I had to have major repair work done ( Im sorry I cant recall the technicians name who performed the work last year, but he was very honest and thourough and was of great help to me as far as helping me to make an informed decision on the needed repair work) and by Matt who came by yesterday for the 1 year inspection. I finally decided to replace my old noisy 3 garage door openers with new top of the line Lift Master openers. Wow, Im impressed with the service I received! First the receptionist was very personable and got me on the schedule within a day of calling since I wasnt in an emergency situation. Then I received a text message with a picture of my technician letting me know he was on his way to my home. He arrived promptly in the 2 hour window they had promised. He quickly got to work and replaced all 3 openers, installed 3 wall controls and a keypad. He showed me how to download the My Q app for Lift Master and program my phone to open/close all 3 doors from anywhere. He programmed the remotes, keypad and my car. Couldnt have been easier! I wondered about adding an extra layer of security with locks and he carried them on his truck and added them to my order cheerfully. I feel I got the best solution for a fair price, outstanding service and great security from One Clear Choice. Id highly recommend giving them a call.

The company responded same day and scheduled convenient time for me in a couple of days. After they came and assessed the situation. The next day I had an estimate from them that less than HALF what a previous quote had been I already have an install date!

I placed a call because my garage door would not close. They dispatched a technician the same day. Not only did he fix the problem, but thoroughly inspected the door and equipment, corrected other problems I was unaware of and reviewed the entire system with me. Fabulous service.

Door-Techs was very quick to respond to our garage door issue. The door was stuck open at about 7PM with the temperatures dropping below 20 degrees. Jim from Door-Techs got to the house within 30 minutes, and due to the complexity of the issues stayed for approximately 2 hours...again, temperature got down to about 15 that evening! Jim repaired the door to get us through the night, and then came back the following day to finish the repairs. The garage works perfectly now!

My appointment was scheduled due to my garage door “sticking”. Upon arrival of the representative determined it needed lubricant and the fittings were loose. That seemed responsible as my home is for sale wishing for a reasonable solution. After completion of that service the representative “tested” the door several times to the point the motor made a loud pop and begin to smoke which then required a total replacement. What a surprise!. As the replacement was being installed I discovered a new coupon In that days mail on a new opener. As I showed the representative the coupon I was told “ that unit is not available” which I asked why is it advertised? As u may guess I’m confused and surprised this has happened and not one that believes in Consequences.

We called One Clear Choice Garage Doors in Castle Rock to have our garage door opener installed (we self-purchased the opener since we already knew exactly what we wanted). Isaac was extremely detailed and took the time to explain how our new Chamberlain MyQ garage door-opener worked. He showed us some unique features of our door opener and explained how to connect the HomeLink features in our cars. Isaac is super passionate about garage doors and openers. After he left, we got an extremely detailed report of the work that was completed, the work that should be done (by our builder) to optimize the door-opener operation, and other installation details. He even followed up with a quote for the repair work, in case we chose not to use the builder for the repairs. I would definitely recommend Isaac!

I would have loved to provide feedback via email but could not find a contact on their website.We made our appointment days in advance, showed up at the Castle Rock location to find it closed. When we called, were told that they had closed today due to snow (confusing since roads were completely clear). Regardless of this - what a huge waste of time to drive out.I would have expected they contact us to let us know our appointment had been cancelled as a basic courtesy.

We have used 1 Clear Choice for repairs in the past when a spring broke on our garage door, so they were the first company we called when we decided to upgrade our doors this fall. After their quote team came out to the house and provided the estimate, we decided to comparison shop just for good measure, and we found that they had the best price for the best doors that we could find. We looked at both Big Box home improvement stores in town, and even got a quote from CostCo. Dollar for dollar 1 Clear Choice won hands down. We worked with Judy, and one Saturday after our order was placed I had a question. Judy wasn’t in that day, but Bonnie took equally as great of care for our needs. We did the insulated doors and the difference in temperature inside our garage is amazing. Of course if you look at the pictures you will see the old doors were past due for replacement. The Black picture is taken from the inside, at the same time of day after replacement…. Yep, there was air leak before, but that black picture shows exactly how tight the replacements are, and lifetime warranty was included in the purchase price.We were told the install would take a full day, which it did. But when the job was finished the technician (Jerry) walked us through the new features, programmed our new opener on the small door and even made a suggestion that we change our trim color to match the edging on the house instead of the garage door color. He came back and changed that within two days of the install and we could not be happier.Thank you 1 Clear Choice. We will always recommend you for garage door repairs and replacement.

We have used One Clear Choice numerous times with our garage door. They have pretty much rebuilt different areas of it for the last 12 years and we are always thrilled with the speed of response, the politeness of their crew and the excellent work. Ive never had to call back because something didnt work after they left. Last night it finally happened, they couldnt fix it, the garage door opener had to be replaced. You see it was 19 years old!!! That apparently might be a record for the age of a garage door opener. Our new one is a delight. SOOO Quiet! My husband will be able to sneak up on the dog and I now. We went with the best one they had so hopefully it will last us another 19 years. I also love the LED lights on this one, our old one had a sad couple of light bulbs covered up by thick plastic so really didnt provide much light. I can see using our garage a lot more now that we can see in there. I recommend One Clear Choice all the time to everyone looking for a great local company to work with. Thank you!

Just had 2 garage doors with openers installed. Tech did excellent work and answered all my questions. He even showed up early! Have not had that happen before. Equipment quality is very good and costs per the original estimate. I did have a bit of confusion in revising the original cost estimate, but this was handled.

Not only replaced my broken springs and cables, but did a routine tune up...tightened nuts and lubed etc. Made sure everything was working well. I was provided an in depth written assessment including pictures of the health of my garage door after the needed repairs were completed. Price was good I think. Second place I called after my garage wouldnt go down. The lady on the phone was very helpful, walked me through quick diagnosis and was able to re-align the sensors and got it working. No service visit required and no charge. Will be happy to use this company for future business.

We had an issue develop with our garage door a few weeks ago where it wouldnt open all the way, and once the remote button was pressed, it would cycle on an open and shut rotation without stopping. The only way to stop it was to manually hold the remote button inside the garage all the way until the door was completely down. Turns out, it was the spring on the right side that was broken. This sent us in search of someone to do the repair.Thanks to the ValPak collection of coupons, we discovered One Clear Choice, so I gave them a call. Isaac came out 2 days later and confirmed the need to replace the springs, but he also saw worn rollers and a center bearing, so we also approved him to replace those as well. The difference in sound was amazing!! No more grittiness or grinding, and the door operates on an almost whisper-like function.Isaac took the time to explain everything about the operation of the door, including the release for manual operation, all the various parts and components, the safety sensors, and the remote switches or buttons. He also posted a sticker near our wall remote so we can easily call back should any further service be needed, or if we have any questions.I was quite impressed with Isaacs professionalism and the speediness of his work. The cost was right in line with what I expected, and considering the additional work completed, it was actually LESS, which is always good.Theres a reason why this company is #1 in Colorado. It definitely shows!

Technician was working on neighbors garage and pre-sales person was willing to come by to let me know how much a tune-up would cost. The cost was entirely reasonable and the technician was able to come over immediately after completing work next door. Technician was highly capable and had an excellent customer service personality. Outstanding experience with the entire One Clear Choice team. We needed an entirely new door due to a support bar break. Brad dealt with a barrage of questions from my end and graciously handled my multiple reschedules. Very happy with our new door and would recommend One Clear Choice to anyone needing garage door service in Castle Rock.

The tech, Charlie, was excellent. He replaced the springs, made sure the door was aligned and tightened/lubricated all the hinges. I will only use One Clear Choice Garage Doors from now on.

I was overall happy with our experience, however my window was scheduled from 10-12 and when I called at 12 I was told that my window was 12-2. I relayed that I never was told of the change and the text message they had sent also confirmed 10-12. They told me that it was a glitch in the system and that a tech would be out soon. Matt, the tech, called and was at our house in 45minutes. Once Matt arrived, he was quick and efficient. He did great work and while we spent more than expected (only because we needed more done, pricing was fine), the work was done great! Afterwards I got the full repair report. I was disappointed about missing a near full day of work, but again once Matt arrived... everything was excellent!
