My go-to place in Castle Rock. Andrew and Tim are great guys with a wealth of knowledge but none of the know-it-all arrogance often seen at gunshops. They keep a good flow of new and used guns. I’ve sold several guns there on consignment and they always pay quickly. Very highly recommended.

Our experience with Action Firearms has been wonderful.My husband and I called on a Monday (the day they are closed)when the owner happened to be there and answered the phone. He patiently answered all of our questions, set aside merchandise AND even took a special order.The next day, the staff was was extremely patient and helpful with the entire process. They were also extremely honest and did not try to up sell me with unnecessary supplies that we may already have. Instead, showed me what to look for at home and what they carried, if needed.I agree with past reviews that states they are female friendly store. They patiently and respectfully answered every question and offered great advise.

I stopped by to trade something in (and did). This gun shop is great. The owner was a straight shooter, friendly, and professional. They had an excellent handgun selection in stock (which is uncommon right now), and fair prices. I will absolutely be going back.

Zero arrogance. Welcoming atmosphere. Dont buy from the other guys in CR. I came in looking for a very specific use case. This meant a pretty light, small and cheap pistol since its not my primary weapon. The other guys scoffed at my choice. I was insulted. Ive since cancelled my membership with the other guys. This interaction was a driving factor in that decision. I will be looking here first for future purchases.
