Love this place. If you have used books that you no longer want you can bring them here and theyll pay you for them. Not a lot but at least something if they are in good condition. Plus the various books, on many subjects, they have on hand is simply marvelous. You could probably find anything here that you are looking for at a great price. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend going there.

Okay one recent visit but it was the best experience! I called to have a book put on hold, and I was told there were two copies and this guy was like reading my mind, he checked on the version to make sure it was the most recent, but I had to see for myself and I was going to wait to arrive to see the other copy for myself. Well, when I stop by the store.... he had both copies on hold for me without me asking! Now thats some GOOD customer service!

Half Price Books is always fun to visit. If you love books, they almost certainly have a book or two for you. They also have movies and video games, and quite a selection too. They also have graphic novels, manga, and pretty much anything thats got writing in it. Sometimes they have board games too. Give it a whirl, peruse their stacks of books!

I have shopped here before, but I just went back. They were kind and helpful. It is the best example I have seen, and I know of what I speak, I ran a bookstore for Jim Duncan, and for my wife when she bought the store!

Wonderful experience nice people I was greeted upon entering. Had exactly the book and journal I was needing. Bought a beautiful sympathy cards and envelope box, along with two lap tablet stands. Nice nice!!!!!!

I live in Georgia where there unfortunately very few bookstores other than Barnes and Noble. I was visiting family in Texas and they suggested checking out Half Priced Books. Walking in, I was so excited to start looking at children’s books for my classroom library. They had an amazing selection of children’s literature and found some great books. When I went to check out I asked if they offered an educator’s discount. The woman at the desk informed me that since I technically don’t start until August, that she could not give me the discount. I am a first year teacher and am funding and building my own classroom library for my students. I was very disappointed that they don’t support first year teachers. Barnes and Noble and other small bookstores I have visited have always given me the discount.

My son needed a book on Natural Disasters so I decided to check this place out before Barnes and Noble. To my surprise we found two books under $8 & $5!! We also found a few items Not on our list, Ill show pictures. Bunnies ($14.99) for my children under 3 for their Easter basket, learning puzzles($7.99) an Xbox bar my oldest son needed to play his hunting game ($19.99) no one sells this item anymore, lights with dogs and clothes pins for my daughters ($7.99) a few pop up boards Rocket (99¢) and another character (99¢). The lady at the check out was so nice!! She was a heavy set lady with an extremely nice attitude. Costumer service was a 10.

This probably is weird but I have to post it! This location had the cleanest and fresh smelling bathroom I have been to out of all the Half Price books locations. They have a nice selection of books and Blu ray movies as well!😎👍🏿

Used to be a nice half Price bookstore but the shelves are half empty the employees have become rather rude and theres just not much of a reason to go in there anymore.

It was very pretty! And It was allá organized and peacefull in there. The employes are also very nice! And fair prices. A bit confuseing in the music section.

I love HPB! The store is always organized, which is no small feat, and the staff is very helpful. I was searching for a birthday gift and looking for a specific topic and everyone was very helpful, the book I found was even better than the one I had in mind! And its a good place to grab the occasional puzzle!

Customer service was not on point. They need to hire more people for that position. I was being waited on but she stepped away to get info for me and started helping someone else while I was waiting for her to get back to me. She did apologize and finished helping me. They did not have what I was looking for afterall that time I wasted.

Clean and quite place. Nice prices on used books. Also if you are into retro game systems they have games for those systems. My son and I always noticed they have comics. Staff was nice and helpful.

Went to look for specific titles of course it’s a hit and miss with HPB. But easy to find urban fiction section which is a littler smaller than in the past. Based on demographics they should receive more African American fiction.

My brothers and I were visiting the outdoor mall next door and saw there was a half price bookstore nearby so we thought about checking it out. The staff was very nice and they had some books and memorabilia we had not seen at any of the other locations we visit. Its a ways from where we live but if we are in the area, we will definitely visit again.

Great priced books and records!

My mom came here in search of cookbooks, and found something perfect for herself at a quite good price, and I got myself The Institute by Stephen King for $15, which I thought was pretty good. The whole bookstore was neat and organized, and the staff members were kind and they knew what they were doing. I would definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely return here.

This store is well stocked and has other items that I did not expect. I quite enjoyed my journey in here. I wound up buying a book that someone suggested for me and I actually found one that I will be giving as a gift. Definitely a recommended store to visit.

Browsing or buying, HPB is a great place to spend time. Lots of selection of new and used and always helpful staff. Signing up for email gets you coupons for even greater savings and notice of specials. Been a fan of this store since college and it never gets old.

Great selection of new and used books. We went searching for young readers books, but could not remember the name of the series. I described them to the clerk. About this big, hard cover in white, big print, every other page is an illustration, all classica, which pretty much is All of them. She walked me one aisle over, handed me The Red Badge of Courage. Like this? Im in AWE!!!

Hopefully I found some good music that I wasnt really looking for today. I was looking for a specific artist by chance and didnt find any music from this artist there, but I found some music from two artists Im familiar with so hopefully I wont be disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I found the music with no problem. I would recommend anybody to shop at Half Price Books.

Our weekly stop for sure. They have everything. We spend hours there. Wish that they had more sitting area or at least more chairs . I wait for my daughter who enjoys looking and choosing her books very careful . I sometimes have to sit on the ground which Is hard for senior citizen. The staff there really know their stuff and are helpful . Enjoy our visits.
