Fantastic company but no one speaks English and the workers dont even try to learn English. Supervisors did make efforts to try to communicate but the workers would just completely stop working and stand there like stubborn mules until a supervisor came over and spoke with them and then would try to translate that to me. They would stop production because I didnt put glue in one spot but they have glue as well that they can put on to keep the process going but they do little petty things like that on a daily basis at this company. I was the only African-American female up there and one of the hardest workers and one supervisor in particular would literally move my stuff that Im working with far away from me and not even bring it back but he didnt do that to the Hispanic workers. Unfortunately for that company I can already tell whats going to happen in the future. Ive worked for a company that had all Hispanic employees and when one disgruntled temp made a complaint within a few weeks 80% of our staff was undocumented and had to leave the company. The company has since been relocated to another state. Cheap labor is killing these companies. I could care less what happens at this point because I now know how to fix my dresser drawers and build my own kitchen cabinets from the frame up. Im now with a fantastic company that truly appreciates its employees and I believe I can in my career there.
