Rude staff the lady in the office do not know what she is doing. She constantly messes up my account. They need staff that is professional and understands customer service.

Doris is the best! She always takes great care of me. She is professional, knowledgeable, and super friendly. The property is clean and well kept. I feel that my things are safe there. This is the best storage in the area hands down. Thanks Doris for the stellar customer service!

Working with the current manager, she is always available to help, even during her lunch hour. She answers questions, rents trucks, etc. with a caring attitude.

Kind of overpriced for the market and they jack it up at least annually. No dumpsters for tenant use, but okay otherwise. Kind of hard for a storage place to be spectacular. Out of the way so there should be no foot traffic theft. Dont get stuck inside after 10 PM, because youll have to call the police/fire to let you out. Their 24 hr phone number is useless. Hopefully that means a burglar would be trapped too lol.

Ricky at the Cedar hill, Texas location has been very helpful and he is very good what he does. He is very respectful and very polite. I would like to say thank you for for that have done for me in the last couple of days. Keep up the good work sir and again thank you

Mr. Enrique was excellent! He was very concern with my situation and was able to get me right in!

I have rented from them for a year and in that time they have gone up on the monthly rental fee 3 times and one without even advising me. In total it has increased over $50 a month within a year. When I call to ask why they always say the manager will call me back but that has never happened!! Just warning that they will do this to everyone so choose wisely before picking them!!

I was very impressed on how fast and professional the service was here, by far the BEST service I have experienced in the area, the prices are super affordable! Enrique (The manager) guided me through the process on what storage would work best for my situation, while having tons of patience!Also Enrique was very polite and answered ALL my questions without rushing me or making me feel like a burden;10/10 Highly recommend!

Doris was very helpful as we started with a new storage unit. Boxes were readily available and the unit was clean and climate controlled as advertised. In all, a very good experience!

My husband is an over the road truck driver and we are gone all the time delivering freight. Now they want to auction our items since we cant pay the full amount, and they wont work payments out during this Pandemic. All other businesses will work out payments with you but not these guys. I have been paying on this unit for 15years, and now due to the Pandemic, we are taking emergency freight around the country, such as food. We have a refrigerated trailer. These ppl dont care we are putting our lives on the line so they can have food.

We went in and got the size we needed right away, then about a month later when we were moving stuff in, we realized that we needed a second unit. We talked with the front desk and were able to give us another unit very close to the original unit to make it easier for us. Their hours are good, and I like their on site staff and the various types of security that come with your rental agreement.

They ask customers to leave them good reviews. I called today to get the price of my unit because I got behind and needed to pay today before they closed. When I initially got my unit, I was offered the first month free but the guy only did 50 percent because I was unsure of how long I would need it. I asked for the additional 50 today since I was still there and the guy was very rude and basically insinuated that I made it up. I also made a donation but I guess they dont keep any notes... Maybe they pocket it, who really knows. I will definitely be paying and removing my things. I hate businesses with snobby and rude employees. Btw, research the prices in the area, theirs is overpriced and they charge a $25 admin fee which Ive never heard of a storage unit doing.

I have had a storage unit at compass self storage for 2 years now. Initially I was not being sent invoices despite requesting them to help me remember when my payment is due. Now I am, but my rate has gone up at least 3 times in this time period. I am currenlty looking for another storage company and will steer clear of any compass self storage facilities in the future.
