Dr. Virginia and Dr. Larry were awesome. They took time to get to know me and learn about my work, hobbies, etc. They followed strict COVID protocols - were thorough and patient throughout my exam to ensure my selections were correct and at the end showed my new correction with my old glasses. Wow! I was 100% confident we selected the best Rx. Im 55 years old and this was by far my best eye exam experience ever!

I am heartbroken to write this review. Heartbroken. I have been coming and bringing my daughter here for years, but today I was treated like trash. I was yelled at by Dr. Larry Smith for requesting a copy of my daughters prescription. It was the most humiliated and insulted I have ever felt. I have always gotten her contacts through them with just a phone call, but I have been calling them for weeks and leaving messages and not one of my calls was returned. Today I was nearby so I went to their new office location to request a copy of her prescription, and first I was left outside being ignored. The door was locked but they were there and could see me and ignored me. I called the number on the door and said that I needed a copy of her prescription and immediately, and I mean immediately, was yelled at by Dr. Smith, saying that I couldnt come into the office without an appointment. I said I did not want an appointment or to come in, just a copy of her prescription. He went on yelling so much that he would not let me even get a word in. He said to email the request and I could have it before they left. I emailed and waited outside 15 minutes and nothing. Called and was ignored. Someone else came and they opened the door, but again, he yelled at me for not emailing. Then he asked if I had sent him the information he requested, which I had never received. He told me (yelling) to email again. I cannot express how awful the experience was. I specifically wanted to support them because they are a local business and a very sweet older couple, but this was humiliating. I asked him why he was treating me like this and he just yelled and ignored. After 30 minutes of standing in the Texas heat, Dr. Bougher slipped me the handwritten prescription. I understand that were all tense about the Covid situation, but this is no way to treat a loyal patient who just wanted to support them. I should also add that the reason I needed a copy of her contact prescription is because in her last exam, in March, we did not receive one. I only got her prescription for her glasses, which I have, but did not received one for contacts. The manager from the business next door, the EyeMart, witnessed part of Dr. Smith yelling at me.

Excellent doctor, great staff, and nice equipment. Its rare to find an knowledgable optometrist with a real human touch. Ill be back.

I highly recommend Dr. Smith at Cedar Park optometry! I have been going to them for 28 years now--and hope that he never retires! As always the experience is very relaxed and professional, starting with the friendly front desk and from there Dr. Smith. He takes his time to know you and your eye needs, you never feel rushed and that he genuinely cares. I have other eye doctors closer, but gladly drive almost 60 miles each way for appointments. If you are looking for a great optometrist look no further....as an added bonus, hes wife and fellow eye doctor is just as awesome.

Dr Virginia Bougher, is what makes me want to keep coming here. She takes the time to listen to you and try to understand you and your vision. The staff is friendly and helpful. They go over your insurance with you and let you know whats included. Unfortunately on my last visit a couple of the machines werent working and I wasnt able to get the full exam. One thing I wish they offered is designer glasses in the store along with quicker turn around on sending the frames out for lenses. Im pleased with Dr. Bougher and will definitely go back for the service.

I recently went in to see Dr Bougher, having just moved to the area. The office staff was extremely helpful & very nice. I did not feel pressured into spending more on glasses than I needed or wanted to and they explained exactly what was covered with my insurance, making sure that I did not miss out on anything that insurance would take care of. Dr Bougher was very personable, kind and knowledgeable. I hope every Doctors office visit (as in other medical fields) is as pleasant as what I experienced at Cedar Park Optometry. My family and I will definitely be going here for as long as we live in the area.

Had broken my old glasses and needed new ones. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.

Had a great exam with Dr. Bougher today. She reviewed in detail my retinal mapping and took time to talk to me about my lifestyle and vision needs. Also, I did not feel pressured into spending more on glasses or frames. The two ladies who helped me with my insurance and glasses were both very nice. Highly recommend them.

My family has been going to Drs Bougher and Smith for years. Highly recommended! Great office staff, knowledgeable doctors and excellent location.
