Arrived before they closed at 11:00 (at 10:50), and a worker at the door blocked me from entering. He stood in front of the door and refused to let me in. The door wasnt locked, and I was clearly there before they were closing - but he told me I couldnt enter because in his words, Our manager wants to make sure we have enough time to let the workers off their shift at a better hour. How sweet... but your hours say 11:00 pm closing - so are yall going to update your hours to 10:50 closing time then, instead of 11:00? Avoid going to this location - and if this happened to you too, call it in to corporate so they know whats going on.
Always a mess, never fully stocked, you have to check yourself out because there are only 2 cash registers with cashiers left (the least you could do is give us a discount for doing your job for you), and the deli lady ignored me for 20 minutes with no one else there and then had the gaul to overreact when we asked for help claiming she didnt have eyes in the back of her head (she looked in my direction several times). Walmart used to be a great company. Sad it has become so poorly managed around the country.
I picked up a prescription that is covered under Medicare Part B and usually costs $0. I was charged $85 instead. The pharmacist, Tim, told me it was because I had to meet the deductible. Meanwhile, the doctors nurse had also called the prescription into an HEB pharmacy for some reason. I got a phone call from them, and they were going to charge me $36 for the same prescription and said that was to meet the deductible. In checking with a few Medicare supervisors, Tim never submitted the prescription to Medicare; instead he charged me $85 out of pocket. When I called Tim, he said he would check with Medicare, but he never did. He said he had a tech check instead. To this day, 60 days later, a claim has never been submitted to Medicare for this prescription.Today I went in to pick up another prescription for which I had a voucher for one free month. I called and told them that I had a voucher ahead of time. After driving 40 minutes to get there, the tech spoke with the pharmacist, Tim, and he was apparently baffled about how to process it. He told the tech to tell me that I had to call the number on the voucher to activate it, and they are only open M-F. Upon getting back in the car, I looked at the voucher, and it required no activation by me. The only telephone number on it was one for the pharmacist to call if he needed help processing it. I called Tim on the phone. It was apparent that he was caught in his own deceit and mumbled something about Medicare not taking it. The voucher was from the pharmaceutical company and nothing to do with Medicare.I will never go back to this Walmart pharmacy again. It is bad enough that the lines are always long and slow, but it has certainly lost any trust I ever had in them.
Refused to fill my pain medication because she was too busy flirting with the gentleman in front of me for too long. “sorry, we close in 5 mins..” even though it was sent over electronically over 30 mins ago. Absolutely HATE this place. Stay away!
Waited for 70 minutes for Curbside order. Checked in, called and confirmed check in after waiting several minutes. Watched multiple cars that had arrived after I had get their orders. No one would answer calls despite several additional attempts to get an ETA on our order. Daughter needed a bathroom and I wasn’t taking her onto a Walmart bathroom during a pandemic so we left. They acted like they were doing is a favor refunding is for the order. Manager told me “they’d hold it for me til the next day if I wanted to try again”. Sticking to H-E-B here on out.
Excellent customer service, medications always in stock
Have you been to a pharmacy where they play doctor? Have a power-trip? Prescription police? This pharmacy is one of those! When my doctor releases and/or submits a script its legit and legal. Stop playing games with peoples meds. A healthy customer is a happy customer.
Went to get flu shot there. Easy. no hassle. no pain. Busy bees. I also get me meds here. Yes. I would recommend.Update: Last few months July 2019. Just got too difficult to stay. Their issue now is with the online pharmacy account and their Express Pay. Every time you go and pick up prescription, they ask for Date of Birth and First Name and last name. So, to avoid all the questions I got Express Pay - then some days it is not working and you use one cashier to pay and another to use Express Pay; and then you have to get a Pharmacy consultation every though you have been taking a drug for years. Certainly not customer oriented. They are set up to follow their procedures period. Of course my experience with other pharmacies is not all that great either.
Never had an issue there!!
Professional and helpful staff.
Always quick and courteous!
Service is not good and not committed to appointments
