Great fun for the kids at a birthday party. Had booth seating as well as benches around the windows. Bar area was neat and clean, with a nice helpful lady tending bar. Fun for kids and folks in good athletuc shape.

The parking isnt always near the door but still not to bad. I was greeted upon entering and recieved service with a smile.My kids and I really enjoyed. We plan to make it a weekly event do to the low prices and cheery atmosphere.

We love this place but it seems that the video game room always has issues with their games. Its unfortunate that they had to make it so small. So I hope next time I go. Everything will be working.

Remodeled since the last time we were here! Its was very nice. Great bar areas, party rooms and even had a vending machine if you forgot socks!

Not enough seating for people. Each lane has 4-5 seats. But 8 people can play on one lane at a time. It’s packed today and there are 9 of us. Unfortunately we can’t sit together. Not a good use of space.

Both the website and one of the workers (whom I called at 8 pm) said that the alley closed at 10pm. A friend and I walked in at 9pm and was told that the lady (different employee) wasnt going to open another lane. She didnt explain and took a call so we left. Im writing this at 9:08 and they still have their OPEN sign on. Pretty disappointed right now.

I normally love this place. They left a horrible impression of how much they truly care for their customers on my last visit. We had a birthday party going and also purchased the two lanes next to us separately for adults. Not timed mind you. As soon as the children were done bowling we were mid game again not timed and were thrown off our lanes. They threw everyone’s drinks away and tossed everyone’s shoes about resulting in one child losing their choose completely. The “party” person wasn’t present other than three times 1. For pop 2. Pizza 3. To inform us very rudely that we needed to “get our stuff cleaned up because we have other people waiting.” We weren’t even done with the allotted time for the party. They even canceled our game mid game then expected us to pay for a whole game. We spend a lot of money there and are there nearly every Sunday. It was disheartening how disrespectful our “party girl” was. Honestly she shouldn’t be working with people with how horrid her demeanor and lack of professionalism. If she was my employee she would be fired. Hopefully they can figure it out because we would hate to have to change our favorite place to bowl. The woman running the bar/food area that night however was incredibly pleasant and definitely knows how to do business.

LOVE IT! the house balls are made to look like pool table balls but represent the weight of the ball and its friggin cool! clean place! lanes arent over-oiled. super-friendly staff. easy scoreboard setup! concessions are good and are reasonably priced! $32 covered shoes and 2 games for 4 people (me and my 3 sons) so it made for some fairly-priced family fun!

Our lane kept breaking down, lane wouldnt reset, lane wouldnt give our balls back. Maybe it was just that lane, but we always have fun here and the price is always right.

We went there because we had a coupon. It said “bowl 3 games, get 3 free” it did not specify any details on the coupon. We ended up paying $40 for 6 games of bowling because apparently the coupon was for a single person and not two people or group or whatever. They should have listed more information on the coupon. They stole from us; basically scammed us. We would not have even played 6 games (12 in their book) had it not been for the coupon...also, so much for 6ft social distancing. There were people at every single lane 2 feet next to us. never going back

This bowling alley is AWESOME! I came here for my birthday party and I had a GREAT time! They also have an arcade which is equally as amazing! I absolutely cant reccomend this place enough and I will be sure to come back!

Ive been bowling there since the alley opened in the 70s. Always clean, well kept, and well maintained.

Great Sundays is always best for 9pm-12am its only $10 for unlimited bowling for as many people you have its super fun and they have the lights and stuff gor fun night bowling. Had a great time tonight.

I love coming here! Ive started to make it a monthly activity and have considered coming weekly. The staff is sooooo friendly! The tvs always have appropriate content on. Service is quick. As is understandable, a pin sometimes get stuck and doesnt get set back up or a bowling ball gets stuck in the gutter. The staff has been really helpful and quick when this happens. Masks arent mandated for bowlers, which makes me a little weary when theyre very busy and crowded. The staff is always wearing their masks. The last time I went, the tables hadnt been wiped down after the patron before us left. There were a couple I noticed like this. Theres always some sort of glitch when Ive come too. Either a score gets mixed up or erased on a round (usually my siblings get a 9 on the board when they scored a 3.... Theyre not complaining) or the pins will get knocked down before you have your second bowl and itll reset them rather than knocking away the fallen pins. Overall, its a great hang out! I wish they did the light show with music bowling at 8 on saturdays like their website says rather than at 9.

Not sure of covid procedures if there are any. Wouldnt recommend at this time.

We love this place and have been playing volleyball for years here. Every year they make improvements that lead to a more enjoyable experience.Were able to meet lots of people and have created friendships we expect to last the rest of our lives.

Nice bowling alley and arcade room

The huge sea of sand is incredible to look at. It really feels like a beach. The courts were in excellent condition and everything looked very nice. The staff at the restaurant was very nice and they had some pretty solid deals on food. Over all, I had a great time.

The reason I give it only 2 stars is because it is so expensive. It costs $3.50 per game for the day and $4 per game for the night. On top of that it costs $3 to rent shoes. If you are playing 3 games you are paying double that of similar places that charge a flat rate for unlimited bowling. It is a very nice place, but not a very nice value if you want to knock out a decent amount of games. If you are looking for value, there are less crowded spots to bowl for less money in Cedar Rapids.

Newly updated everything except those weird tables with the swing chairs that have always been there. The update is nice, it make it seem more spacious than it was. Looks good, good bowling, lockers available for your stuff. If you go online you can find a buy 2 get the 3rd game free coupon. Food is bar type food but good and not too poorly priced.

Terrible customer service. They run leagues on Saturday during peak times. After calling to find out when open bowling is early in the day they say 8pm. Ok....So we show up at 8:03pm and they proceed to tell us it will be an hour wait???? And of course there must be 10plus open lanes and only a handful of people waiting?? They dont want your business... go somewhere else that does!

I would say this is an excellent bowling center. The lanes are kept up. The score board also tells you the mph that the ball goes down the lane, which is pretty cool. My daughter and I played three games and had a good time.

Great for kids birthday parties

Kids had a blast. Bumper bowl lanes made it more enjoyable for them. Good selection of food available on site. No time limit, bowl all you want and pay when you finish.

We went to a birthday party and I was very impressed with the server that took care of the room all by herself. She didnt stop running the whole time and made sure we had everything.The building itself is undergoing renovations but they are turning out great! It should be a very nice place once they are all done! The kids loved the bumper bowling!

This is a great bowling alley for Cedar Rapids. Reasonably priced and it has been updated nicely so it doesnt reek of cigarette smoke. Other than that, it is your typical bowling alley.They are not very good about posting their open bowling times. I would highly recommend calling to verify they have open bowling during the week. Their website states open bowling from 11am-12am, however they have leagues from 5pm-9pm, so you will be turned away even though they state they have open bowling.

They have bowling balls that look like pool balls with the # equating to weight. Lanes are good, well oiled. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have food and drinks, foods ok. They have a couple arcade games, the punching bag is fun.

This is definitely one of the best bowling alleys I have been to! Good lanes. Great friendly staff and great food! Reasonably priced.

Had a blast playing volleyball here this past Summer. I love that their are so many courts and that once your team buys so many pitchers of beer you get a free one. The people were all very nice and fun to play with. I do wish that you could pay for all 3 leagues at once if your planning to play spring, summer and fall. I also wish there was more parking and that they had Bluemoon on tap.

Love the staff and the volleyball! Some of my favorite nights of the week are the ones where my team is signed up to play here. There are different leagues you can sign up for, depending on whether or not youre playing for fun or to win, and they add other little competitions in as well (mad hatter night, for example). Best place to play volleyball in town!

Place to go to have fun playing sand volleyball competitive and relax. You just need to find a team to play on or bring your own. Also lots of drinking available if that is what you do after or during volleyball play.

They played host to the Special Olympics bowling day where of course everyone is a winner, but the staff there were the true stars! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. It also looks as if everything has a new coat of paint and remodeling underway so I will definitely be back again.

Its difficult to review a place that really has no competition. Who sets the bar? That said, as horrible a volleyball player as I am, I love Volleys. The staff is always great. The sand/courts are well maintained. The beer flows like wine, beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano....

We go here almost every week. Staff is decent, but lanes sometimes have issues with ball returns. Food is about what you would expect at a bowling alley. Id recommend the fried mushrooms and pickles.

Sand volleyball, music, and drinks. Fun! Kid area could be better, but still, fun.

The prices are reasonable and the bar is well stocked. The lanes were waxed well. Balls were in acceptable shape, too. My biggest complaint is the pins kept falling when being reset, making scoring difficult.

Really fun place to play sand volleyball. Two improvements to make are pole padding protection and cement under sand can be felt seldomly. Great spot otherwise!

Love this bowling alley. They are great for kids, they have lots of 6 lb balls for the kids to use, bumpers and even ramps if needed. Nothing bad to say, other than sometimes on the weekends theyre too busy for a family to walk-in and play.

Only been to this bowling Alley in Cedar Rapids and not the other 2 so I dont have much to compare them too as far as better or worse. The balls are HORRIBLE quality with a bunch cracks and divits in them..I suppose that is to be expected though when using bowling balls that everyone else uses. The issue is more with the people using them and HOW they use them than the alley being responsible for them. But thats another story altogether. All in all, I like this alley, the atmosphere is nice, the computer is easy to use...you have to enter in your own information....I would prefer it if the staff entered the information and had our names in the computer by the time that we got to the lane ( I have been to bowling allies in another town that do this and its very nice). Like I said Its a nice and fun place to go. Always lively, but never TOO busy.
