Appointment 8am check in early, got a dock and waiting to be loading, guard check was nice,

The girl at the check-in was very nice very smooth process staging area to park while you checked in. I was loaded in under 2 hours. They do a very good job here and are nice and professional.

Easy if youre dropping and hooking, might be a long wait at the gate. the drop and hook lot entrance is at 330 Hawkeye Downs Road which is around the corner and not at the actual address.

If you have just drop&hook you will be fine but if you are coming for a live load be prepared for 4h up to get you loaded

Ok, I do not understand this situation, a Roar log load, where it requires the driver to count the shipment, since if something is shorter at the delivery the carrier will be responsible( Who would be responsible if a box is missing inside a box, something that the driver cannot detect?),or if it cannot enter the warehouse to count, that it indicates in the BOL that The shipper loaded and counted, on the shipper a sign that says we do not accept that the BOL says SLC, so in the middle of this COVID-19 pandemic the drivers have to enter a warehouse where food is handled to check the merchandise, in my opinion both act badly and without any professionalism, nobody wants to be held responsible and better to hold the weakest link in the chain responsible.All the people I dealt with were very nice.

Quaker Oats Warehouse. Feeding America. These folks know about logistics. Hall & Oates is the only music they allow to be played on premises. They even have a micro transmitter on the FM dial. Tune in ya bug flappin’ sidewalker you.Final thought, it would be a nice gesture if they’d add communal showers for the drivers.

I guess I got lucky, my experience was good compared to all the other reviews. Checked in at guard shack about half hour early, filled out paperwork with pick info, ladies were nice. Received a door 1 1/2 hour loaded & out.

I am not sure if getting loaded before your check in time is allowed but I arrived here a half hour before my appointment, put in a door right away. They did not start loading me until 5pm which was my appointment time but I was required to stand inside and count the pallets as they went into the truck. This place is huge so a couple hours of waiting in my opinion is not terrible as every pallet is not staged and ready to go on the truck. Everyone here is top notch and very friendly. The loader I have is very efficient.

Guard gate was pleasant enough, slow loading but plenty of space to hit dock. Not the best experience not the worst.

I dont know what everyone else is talking about its a typical place to pick up make sure your trailer is clean show up before your appointment time no more than 30 minutes truck entrance is 330 Hawkeye rd. Security is doing their job what they are meant to do. If you dont have anything nice to say about someone then keep your mouth closed.

Just be aware. They drivers are notified that they can go on the dock and count the product. If they do not, even if there is a seal marked intact, if there is a shortage, you have a claim. Broker said they are holding my pay for up to 9 months.

Fast and efficient

Appointment time for pickup 12pm, checked in at 11.45am got a dock right away. Loaded and out the security gate 2.30 PM. Full load nice people. No issues. 4 star is for taking 2 hrs to load but still better than 5+ hours.

Slow getting checked in as only had one person working then had to do spotters kid and drop empty trailer in a door instead of drop lot

What is with humanity at this place. Shame on you for taking way too long to live load. They ack like theres no tomorrow and destroy all of your hours.

Very quick drop and hook. Park in the staging area to your right and walk in. Out in 30 mins. Not too many empty trailers though.

Where to start! The woman at the gate, older short gal, stinks! Smelled of cigarette smoke from 50 people gathered into one. The big guy at the gate told me to back into 32, I did, the yard guy came by and said I need to be in door 2, yard guy moved my trailer, and he was the part of the whole trip. They took my phone number and I asked them if they called us when we are empty, their reply was yes. Got the green light, 45 minutes later, the yard guy came by again and I asked if they brought out the paperwork or called, I was informed that when you get the green light your empty, pull back to the guard shack and get your paperwork. Wow, I could of have been half way home, but no, they just leave you hanging. Hopefully I wont go back. They really need to get their act to, and the woman needs to change her uniform more often and try washing it.

6 plus hours to live load they are still at it. In my 35 years of trucking this is the 2nd worst shipper Ive ever picked up from 1st being Hintz in Muscatine.

Guards are nice I have never done a live load/unload there but I have dropped trailers in the dock on the back side of the buildin gn it is kinda tight getting turned around so you can driver side back but other than that no problems in and out

This is a warehouse work trucks load I give it two stars because of the product but their service to truck drivers is very poor and very slow their loaders lack knowledge and how to load a truck properly or in a timely manner

Ridiculous place. Want the driver to count because they dont trust their own workers. Mostly blind side parking unless you can get lucky enough too turn around. I will say the guards are very polite. And no I will not be coming back here!!!!!!
