Took my mom there for a quick bite. We tried a new breakfast quiche that the owner was putting out. It was just the right amount. Then we each had a cinnamon roll. They are small enough not to share. No coffee this time.
This is my new favorite local coffee place! I love the staff, the atmosphere and the coffee. Stop in, you’ll love it too!
Very comfortable spot that smells wonderful serving various savory breakfast and lunch options as well as pastries and baked goods, including their own bagels, scones, and muffins. Coffee options are standard and good, and are reasonably priced.Plenty of seating options inside and out, with outlets available for charging. Parking is very easy.
It does not get any better then this. Great service, fair prices, quick turn around time. This local breakfast was amazing. Breakfast sandwich was inhaled. My kid loved her cinnamon roll.. My girlfriend had plain bagel with 🧀, Im not sure if she even chewed it. The mocha and chi tea were creamy and made to our pleasing. Everything was perfect. We are from out of town. I searched for breakfast near me, open at 730 am. I found a absolute 💎. The local coffee house is a must stop on your travels through Central point Oregon.
My husband and I decided to try eating here after I learned there were new owners. We sampled the chocolate croissant and Marionberry pastry along with a couple of homemade New York style boiled bagels. I’m a baker and New Yorker and I can highly recommend this unique little cafe! Looking forward to trying other menu items. Nice to have such a great place to stop into in our town!
Very nice staff, not a ton of indoor seating options. Food was very good, would go back
I dropped in last week for a few fresh pastries and they were good. I will return soon ( COVID has been hard on small business) to review the entire menu, order and have coffee, etc. My 3 stars are based on one quick experience with new owners, who were very nice. More to come...
The new owners of this place are simply wonderful! We love all of the many baked goods they offer, including the gluten free treats. Weve enjoyed the perk burrito many times too! Great atmosphere and delicious food! We find ourselves returning often.
Wonderful coffee and staff located inside an old mercantile building...the second oldest building in town.
It has been about 4 years since I have been, but I had a great experience being here and eating the great food there! I highly recommend trying this gem out!
This place is amazing! The food is delicious the coffee was rich and frothy. Simply wonderful!BONUS POINTS: It smells just like a grandmas house ❤
This is a neighborhood gem. Great food, wonderful atmosphere and exceptionally friendly service.
Christian family. Coffee, pastries and wonderful pies. Some inside seating. Good idea to call ahead. Very popular.
What a cute little place! We were looking to grab a quick breakfast sandwich and this fit the bill perfectly. We both had everything bagels - one with bacon and the other with sausage - and both were delicious and reasonably priced. Add in friendly service, a tasty latte and a refreshing fizzy hibiscus cooler for an overall great experience!
Quaint and cozy, which is my taste. The Quiche was exceptional and the Pumpkin Spice Latte was delicious. This Coffee Shop makes me miss my hometown coffee shop back in Madison, WI (Victory Coffee Shop).
Quaint family friendly atmosphere. Good menu selection. A place I felt welcome and want to go back to enjoy again. Good selection of great coffees. Outside and inside seating. Lots of nooks and crannies upstairs and downstairs. Friendly staff. Great place to go and relax with a cup of joe and a book or to meet with a friend or associate and talk in a relaxed atmosphere.
They are very nice and care about you liking there items. One day she gave me a second bagel because she burned the other bagel a tiny bit. They have great gluten free options as well! I totally recommend it to anyone who is gluten free or just wants a good bakery/ cafe. This place is AWSOME!!!!!
The new owners are very nice and the coffee and food are great.
Gustavo was a much better owner in terms of friendliness and quality of service, they messed up my order three times and still forgot to add the caramel I had paid for.. theres another coffee shop in town which is delicious and so cozy. GO THERE ! :)
Delicious coffee! Cozy space!
Delicious FRESH Options and Robust coffee. Any of The Open Face Bagel Sandwiches are Definitely a must try! 👌🏼 You leave full, but light, not gross and heavy. Outdoor Seating and Friendly Staff.
Fantastic atmosphere. Brilliant coffees and dirty chai lattes. The marinated tomatoes on the breakfast bagel are beyond scrumptious!
A five star food experience in a coffee shop! Amazing atmosphere. Eclectic and clever. Great service. Perfect place to meet up with a friend.
The baked goods are delicious!
Quaint and homey! Nice people, food, and coffee drinks!
My girlfriend and I stopped by when we came for a weekend visit to the area. We walked in not knowing what to expect...but as soon as we discovered several seating areas to choose from, all with their own unique feel, we knew we had found the best place for coffee and brunch. Everything tasted perfect and the presentation was great as well. They weren’t terribly busy, so Gustavo was able to tell us about the place and welcome us to the area. He’s such a great guy with impeccable customer service. Definitely one in a million.
Hands down the best scramble ive ever had. Came in at 1:30 with only one person sitting in the back. Love the layout of this place and the patio and lounge area is pretty sweet. We all loved out food and will be coming back in the morning before we head back home.
The burrito was tasty, the price a bit high (10.50) come on! Also, the hard wooden benches makes it very uncomfortable on the undercarriage. The coffee was very good.
I cant say enough about the energetic service and awesome atmosphere. I asked for heavy whipping cream and when he didnt have any he jumped on his skateboard and went and got some. Customer service was astounding.
This place offers vegan options, the person who took my order was so nice and my drink was delicious. I highly recommend!
S super chill. Super cool. Super hip. A well-kept local Secret. A combination coffee bar Delhi and reading room. You got to love it I did.
Good selection of drinks. And such nice spots to sit... Comfy sofa room. The inside bar and tables. AND the covered patio area was cool in the morning. Clever decor.
My girlfriend and I have been here three times now and had overall good service, if not the speediest, great coffee, and delicious food. Last Sunday the owner was unfortunately having a medical issue with his leg, but still had time to chat, serve the several other customers there, myself, and rest of my party. He has apparently restored many of the antiques, and furnishings inside as well done repairs to the building which he maintains. Some of the art is also his. The whole place feels like going to someones house to sip, socialize, and have some seriously good breakfast eats.
I do like the food and coffee....but every single time we have visited, we had some issues. Wait forever, out of most of the food, loud rude employees, orders not put in, only one person working, not open during normal hours. If Im with someone who wants to go there, I steer them to another place since its just so unpredictable. Seems like just mismanagement. If you dont have the employees or food to serve your customers, maybe just keep the menu limited. At least then we can enjoy the cool atmosphere.
Quirky decor and upbeat service. The food here really blew me away - just simple sandwiches but they packed a lot of flavor.
The food and coffee are great. A guy that works there Gustavo I believe was his name is incredibly disrespectful to customers. He makes fun of people when they leave in front of the customers still in the shop, talks trash openly to peoples face, and makes obscene gestures at approaching people walking on the sidewalk. I would love to go there more often but usually wont in fear of this guy working.
This is the cutest coffee shop! I have only been there once, so far, but the coffee was good. Dont be deceived by the outside. It is a lot more spacious inside, with patio seating, and also a little cozy back room with couches.
The owner Gustavo makes everything fresh to order. He interacts with customers making it a personable experience. Hes a natural comedian. Gustavo takes pride in the food he serves with joy. Lots of tasty choices from paninis, salads and breakfasts served all day. Great coffees, au lairs, etc. The vibe is casual and theres various small spaces with local art. Sofa seating upstairs is more private. This was first time trying and Ill be coming back on regular basis. What a local gem for delicious food!
Fun place with really cool ambiance. Employees were awesome and really were above and beyond. Even went to get some tofu, which they dont offer on the menu, since my wife is allergic to eggs .
Come with patience, you will be rewarded. Its a one man operation but he was working his butt off to get food and coffee made. It was delicious!
Interesting decor, loved the hard wood tables and the portion size was enormous! Will definitely check out again when Im back in Southern Oregon. I love quirky places like this!
Very cute! Stopped in quick for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. Quality food, beautifully plated and tasty! Fun vibe with a variety of coffees and teas as well.
Staff are friendly, good coffee, tasty food, and a nice atmosphere. A good place to grab some food/drink or relax and get a little work done. Whenever I am in Central Point, I stop here.
Love this place. Wonderful food. Very rustic and artsy. The owner is a wonderful artist. Theres a really cozy upstairs with chairs also.
One woman show the day we visited. She was trying to get us all taken care of but one person and about 5 couple with 10 different wants was a challenge I am sure. Menu is limited and food is everything pesto. Its a good coffee house but food there is a no for me unless I grab a bagel or pastry.
Such a great addition to this small town. Great coffee selections and a surprisingly unique food menu with loca, fresh ingredients. The owners are fun and make you feel welcomed.
Great vintage atmosphere to this place! The owner MADE all of the awesome wooden tables, and it almost feels like a cozy little house to have coffee in. The coffee is very affordable and quite flavorful. Will definitely return!
Wow! The owner is the crowning touch on this eclectic restaurant / coffee house. Wander through the rooms including upstairs, the art is fun, the seating is hippy homey, the food is just different enough to make decisions difficult, and the Chai Latte is a work of art. No kidding. He spent a full minute crafting the final look of the drink. Go there.
Adorable laid back atmosphere! I loved the Cucumber Mint Lemonade and my breakfast plate was delicious as well as beautiful. When the cook offered ketsup I laughed since the potatoes were perfectly seasoned.Friendly quick service, country feel and yummy food/drinks puts this place as a new favorite!
Gustav is a warm, gregarious host and barista. Central Point Perk is a quaint, eclectic shop providing multiple seating areas ranging from couches and over stuffed chairs to handmade wooden tables and chairs. My drink was outstanding.
Cute spot, but this was vying for the worst breakfast Ive ever had, certainly in the valley. Its worth the trip to Ashland to go to Morning Glory instead. We ordered potatoes ($2.50) with our orders, which turned out to be about $.25 per potato chunk since there were about 10 small ones. One of the meals appeared to have been ordered off the kids menu when it came, and added up to about 10 bites. Service was also terrible, one person working alone who was rude and inhospitable. Definitely will be heading elsewhere in the future.
It was great, nice owner, food was one of a kind. Great chefs. Will be back❤
Cool atmosphere. Good food, avg coffee. Employee seemed annoyed we ordered an espresso drink. Will come back, just not for the coffee.
The food was fast and fantastic. The space is nicely decorated. There was not alot of room, but the food was worth coming back. There were ants in back section where we sat. We only tried the food initially, but the coffee is fantastic too! They have dairy-free whip cream and milk wirh around 25 flavors. They make amazing egg dishes in a small pan and are super efficient with space.
Great atmosphere! Love the decor. Food is really good. Coffees are unique.
Fun, quirky decor. Funky vibe is refreshing and laid back. Good food.
Best coffee in Central Point. Itd be great if you could rely on them being open on time.
Huge potential hip cool and groovy place a major disappointment. The owner bless his heart must have ADHD and cant keep his mind on his work. We came in to no other customers and ordered breakfast. An hour and a half later we got our food - AFTER the owner served the 10 or so pretty young women who came in after us.. When food was served, it came without utensils and the waffles were dry and burnt. My husband went to get at least a fork and the owner essentially told him to get out and shoved him. The owner was rude every step of the way . Weve been there several times because I want to give it a chance. Each time is the same; altho this was the worst. We wont be going back. EVER.
Fresh food with bold flavors. Fun funky environment. Fun staff.
Best salad on the planet! Coffee is amazing and the Ole is scrumptious (all the food is great)!
Went for coffee with a best friend.. great menu and food was great..quite small and person working counter was horrible..Terrible personality.. very unfriendly... sad.. may not go back..too bad.. the food and coffee were good
Great vibe. Pretty good breve. Nice peeps.
Thoughtfully decorated quality service food and coffee. minimal seating in front but a patio and back sesting area
Cozy and comfortable with a variety of seating styles. Friendly staff. Excellent artisan crafted food and drinks.
Continuing to disappoint with their hours of operation. Walked in today at 9:15 am. 1 sign says Open and 1 sign says shut. Opened the door, I had to ask “ are you open ?” Could not understand what she was saying at first, but then I get an answer “ I don’t know “. I left. Not coming back. Had good food but never open on a regular time or basis. Call it “ The Brunch “ instead and folks won’t expect coffee at 7,8,9
Love Gustavo. So fun! Good service, always happy to please.
Finally tried it! Great coffee! Great food! Staff is fun! I will be back :-)! Thank you!
Its a cute coffee shop, with decent music and tasty coffee/espresso beverages....its also entertaining to come and visit the grumpy barista that has absolutely no customer service skills...his lack of facial expression and friendliness make it a funny and unique experience. He seemed overwhelmed because it was busy 🤷all that being said we liked it and will be back.
Best coffee/lunch spot in Pine. Seating is a bit limited and can be uncomfortable but the lunch makes up for it. Very good gluten free offerings, large portions with a good salad always included.
Cool place to hang out. Very friendly Staff. Got a foot massage while I drank my Latte!! :-)
Excellent owner, excellent coffee/drinks.
Great Food nice customer service
Such a cool spot! Its about time for Central Point to get a sit down coffee spot. Take some time to stop by!
Great coffee and shop. We did not have any food, but I suspect it will be just as good
Fun, quirky ambience; hubby says good coffee. Tea only okay.
Great atmosphere, great people and the BEST breakfast I have EVER had in a restaurant.
Love smaller shops but dislike poor customer service. Drive out of the way to go here. Barista guy helping two customers who were slowly deciding their order. I stood for a few minutes patiently waiting.... no eye contact from barista guy, no greeting, no “I’ll be right with you”. I left really disappointed because I wanted to try this cool local coffee shop. And I get that exceptional customer service is not every shops focus but it is mine. #customerservicefail #humanbeanrightnextdoor
Amazing coffee, great food options, a friendly staff, and a cool atmosphere.
Gustavo is a wonderful Barista and Chef with a lot of positive energy, love the prices, and it is everything I want out of a sit down Coffee Shop!
Amazing breakfast, coffee and pastries!
Homely atmosphere with great coffee and amazing food.
Great food and coffee! Cool atmosphere too!
Cutest most comfy and yummy place ever in this area!!! I highly recommend the egg sandwich!!
Art oozes from every wall, dish, and piece of furniture. Definitely worth the effort!
Cool place! Bigger than youd think with awesome staff.
Great place and great people
Great service, owner is super-friendly and welcoming! Love the Mozarella, Tomato, Egg and Arugula breakfast sandwich and Caramel Macchiatos!
Best place in town!!! Most amazing food from the most amazing owner!!
Amazing menu, fantastic service...a definite must if you havent been in yet. 😊
Great coffee and food, amazing service.
Great staff
Excellent food and super cozy atmosphere.
Lack of customer service. No acknowledge me of my presence.
Really fun baristo and great cappuccinos
