Sorry, no pictures of food but what a quaint little place, prices were good and the food better. The custard stole the show. You wont be disappointed but come early, not a lot of seating but worth it if you have to wait. Have some pictures of items for sale in their gift shop.

First time for me. Probably the last. I just want to sit and have someone bring me coffee and food. I want hot coffee, cold water, and food.This is the kinda place where you stand and order and then clean your own table when you are done. They ask for a tip before you see your food. McDonalds is 6 blocks down the road. I dont go there for the same reason I wont come here again.I know, Im too fussie and shoulda known better... but theres more. I asked for eggs poached easy and got eggs fried hard. And I agree with everyone who says the hashbrowns are dry.I wish I had just walked out.Not saying it is not a cute, trendy place. Not saying it is not clean. Not saying that I didnt wake up as I ate half my food... Just saying I wish I had read my review before I stopped. I would have rode on by.

It was the perfect spot for lunch with my wife. Cozy atmosphere, courteous wait staff and my Flyin Ryan sandwich was the bomb.....! It would be nice to have some side options. My sandwich looked lonely all by itself. Not a deal breaker BTW.

The soup was creamy tomato and we had a taste.of their frozen custard. It was very good. The menu was a bit limited, but what they do have is very good.

I get it that orders are are going to be messed up, but this place messed up 3 orders. Someone either doesnt care or isnt paying attention. Dont buy unless your happy with receiving half the food you ordered at the full price e for all of it.

The best breakfast burritos! We ordered breakfast for our family that was visiting from out of town from the Crater Cafe for Father’s Day, and we were so pleased with EVERYTHING!My dad requested some changes with his breakfast special and they were very accommodating when he ordered. I asked if they would give me a call when it was ready for pick up, and they did! Great experience, lucky to have them in CP! ❤️

This place is amazing every single time I go there and the ingredients are very obviously high quality. They have probably the best breakfast sandwich in the valley and their strawberry fields salad is amazing.

My wife and I visited crater cafe today. We had never been there and decided to give them a try. We were greeted and told they’d be right with us. There were two lady’s ahead of us that were being helped. When they were through paying it was our turn. We were asked to put on masks, which is understandable these days. When I asked why the two lady’s in front of us didn’t have to have masks there was no reply. I looked around and no one else had masks either. The only difference between me and anybody else in there establishment is that I’m Hispanic. When I asked again why no one else had to wear a mask, no answer. I couldn’t help but feel that we were being singled out because of the color of my skin or maybe my ethnic appearance. Again I understand people’s policy on masks, but what reason was it that we were the only one’s being asked to wear them. Why were the two lady’s in front of us in line attended to if they also didn’t have masks. Or anyone else for that matter. I can’t change the way I was created. As a local business owner myself that kind of behavior would not be tolerated. Very unfortunate to say the least.

Everything was great (decor, flavor, service) except the prices for the amount of food you got. I ordered the deluxe breakfast burrito for $9. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich made with a crescent for $9. They were both very small. If your hungry, go someplace else.

Weve loved the frozen custard here since they opened, but we FINALLY got around to trying their breakfast and oh man, was it great!

It’s unfortunate I feel obligated to give a poor review. We go to crater cafe pretty often and have always had a pleasant experience. Yesterday, 4th of July, we called in an order to go at 825am knowing it might start getting busy with all the festivities going on downtown. We were told it’d be around 30 minutes for our 3 breakfast sandwiches. We got to the cafe around 8:35am paid for our order knowing we still had time until it was ready. About An hour passed (9:20am)by and we checked with the lady at the front counter how much longer it would be since we anticipated watching the parade with our kids at 9:30. She told me about another 10-15 minutes. Mind you, the whole time we were there they only made one other food order (in which that lady was frustrated bc she had too waited almost an hour and a half for her food). We were one of the first people in the cafe other than this other lady when we ordered and no other orders went out…Being the patient and understanding person I am, I let the gal know at the counter that we had already been waiting an hour and they might want to let people know ahead of time a better time frame for food to refrain from upset customers. She replied with a snooty attitude that they are very busy and it’s hard to give an good estimate on time….again we were one of the first people in there aside from the other elderly lady that ordered 2 sandwiches. Just an all around frustrating experience since this is/was one of our favorite spots :/

Portion sizes and staff were good. The biggest problem was the taste... there wasnt any. No salt, pepper or anything. We had three different items for breakfast and not one of them were seasoned. Maybe the 5 star reviews are for the custard?

Generous portions of excellent food, the custard was smooth and creamy. The owner greeted us at our table and was very pleasant.

These people are amazing there food is amazing. I personally wished I could buy food there 24/7I dont know how people would think there food is bad, or the people are bad because theyve treated me well.

Good flavor, hash browns were dry.

I ordered food here for the first time today. I got the Breakfast Sammich with a side of hashbrowns. The sandwhich was really good but the hashbrowns were terrible. They were very dry and rubbery as if they were leftovers that were re-heated in the microwave. The place is super cute and I will eat here again, but will not be ordering the hashbrowns anytime soon.

I always get, what they call now the Daniel Sandwich. It has bacon, ham, mushrooms, cheese, all on top of or mixed in with folded eggs inside a sour dough grilled sandwich with Chipotle aioli sauce on a sour dough grilled sandwich 🥪😋Best place to get breakfast in the valley and have 1 of their delicious meals, or have them build your own sandwich that Im sure will be delicious 😋 All good stuff to say, very good, warm people there, and good place to gather with loved ones 👍

The Bombasil is the best! The concrete with berries, banana and walnuts is heaven. My fave CP breakfast place!

We buy the big custard to enjoy root beer floats and sometimes with adult beverages. My husband made the mistake of letting our 14 year old pug have a taste of the custard. The problem now every time the container comes out he is demanding some too. Just goes to show he has good taste also. Thanks for the great custard and food

Great cafe to stop for one of the best homemade custards I have had ($6.75 with mango and lemon curds!!) and laptop work. Selection of espresso based hot drinks, smoothies, lots of sandwiches. Kitchen closes at 3 pm, dine it avail. Tim, behind the counter, was super kind, nice and helpfull. Good vibe, window - bar seating, armchairs or community table. On the main street.

Very nice people but wasnt real impressed with our egg scramble. Hash browns were dry and toast was served without butter. Had to go up to counter to get more water. And we bussed our own tables.

We really enjoyed our experience at this cafe. The food was great. We had a reuben and a turkey and cranberry sandwich. Both were served with a delicious potato salad. We also had a strawberry mango smoothie and some of their custard, which was superb (I’d recommend hot fudge and raspberry added in). Lastly, we tried the wizard island coffee, which is espresso with frozen custard mixed in. I’d highly recommend it.Overall we loved this place. Best of all was the excellent customer service. The two men who helped us were exceptionally personable. I can’t wait to visit this place again.

Must of been a very bad day for the crew. We had hair in our food and what we did eat was without flavor, except for the grease. Coffee was substandard, tasted old. But service was fast, so there is that.

Delicious breakfast! Very friendly owner greeted us as soon as we walked in and offered a taste of their custard, obviously a thing of pride for them. Too bad I am on keto which they were willing to accommodate. We thoroughly enjoyed the deconstructed breakfast burrito and americanos we ordered. The side bacon is thick and flavorful--a departure from the usual dinner style thin salty bacon. Turkey sausage was okay but would love to see real pork sausage patties. This is my new favorite nearby breakfast spot. You can tell the ingredients are quality and that they really care about delivering well prepared food. If you like to dine in a cafe that seems to be a labor of love for the owners, check out Crater Cafe.

This place is beautiful and the staff couldnt seem to stop smiling.The simple wood decor and very clean setting kind of sits on the edge between rustic and modern minimal.The drinks and custard are fantastic. If I had a place like this while in college, Id have studied there every day.

I had a BLT on a toasted Crescent was delicious.

Very pricey for what they serve all 10 items a friend had to toast their own bagel another their bread so you order toast they just hand you two slices of bread and point you to a toaster. That is worse then going to a store and shopping, scanning, then paying for your own stuff. Will I be asked to stock the shelves next? And no one understands why people shop on line?

Awesome little cafe in downtown Central Point. My wife and I love stopping there to treat ourselves to a latte or breakfast treat, and their frozen custard (its like soft-serve but better) is phenomenal!

The breakfast burrito was very good as always. However, the coffee was to strong and I had to water it down some. The staff was very cheerful and polite. Good atmosphere!
