Great little coffee shop! I snuck in about 30 minutes before closing to grab a coffee to-go. Staff was friendly, service was quick, and the coffee was great.

I was a huge Flying Machine fan when they were in Urbana, but the new Avionics location did not disappoint.It’s a bit small, and there’s no Pizza M or wine/beer, but the wait staff is friendly, lattes are delicious, and if you’re gluten free, they can make any sandwich on their grit “cake” (basically a circle of warm grits on a plate but still delicious), although they do run out kind of early sometimes.You might have to share a larger table with wooden benches (no backs) if you don’t get lucky with a table, though, and if you get an iced beverage, be careful they don’t accidentally make it hot (but they’ll gladly remake!).

Hands down the best espresso in Champaign-Urbana area. The flavor both has darker toasty notes as well as lighter, sweeter aftertaste that is perceptible even through milk. I found their drip coffees to be on the dilute side but their beans are fantastic.

A great little coffee spot. The prices seem high for the area but the specialty coffee was great. The highlight was the Matcha tea with lemon ash.

Great vibes! I have spilled before here and they gave me a new drink!My roommate and I live nearby and use their punch cards. The price reflects the quality but the lovely hipster vibes and amazing ingredients make up for it. I buy their beans sometimes too!

The drinks Ive had are just as fantastic as the Urbana location. The food is really unique in the best possible way. I cant wait to try everything else on the menu. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and willing to put up with my inability to pick items quickly. The atmosphere is really nice, like when you go to a friends house and wonder why you cant get your place to feel like that. I definitely recommend buying some coffee beans before you go. Im terrible at making coffee but the beans from Ethiopia I bought and brewed at home resulted in the best pot of coffee I ever made.

The rosemary mocha has a pleasant aroma and isnt too sweet either. Loved it!

The atmosphere is trendy and cozy while having various amounts of coffees to choose from. I ordered a Pour-Over Brazilian coffee and it was very fresh, a little on the dark side for me, but pretty good. The lady did forget about my order, so it was a bit of a wait, but I would be willing to try again.

Coffee and service were top-notch and the location and ambiance make it a great place to get some work done and drink some delicious coffee. I only wish there was more seating! Had I not snagged a seat from a leaving customer I wouldve had to leave or wait a while to find a seat. I watched countless potential customers walk in to just turn around and leave shortly after they saw there was nowhere to sit. Will definitely be returning, hopefully at a less busy time than a Saturday afternoon.

This is a great new location for Flying Machine! It looks great and they have a great setup. They have the best coffee in town and a very yummy-looking menu. So far Ive only had a chance to have the doughnuts, but everything sounds really good! The location is very relaxing and fun and its a great place to chill out. Definitely check it out!

I tried the lunch salad and my husband had the Dagwood sandwich. Both of us were so pleased with our food. My salad alone filled me up as did his sandwich. I have never eaten a salad with that much variety of veggies. And the house dressing, was out of this world. We both ate the zucchini bread for dessert along with mochas. I cannot wait to try the other menu options, it all appears just as scrumptious. I would highly recommend everyone check out this place. It is quaint and a warm place to visit. Thank you for such an awesome experience and will be visiting often!

Really great food (omg the bread pudding) and fabulous, freshly roasted coffee. Perfect menus for both food and drink. Great light with huge windows and vintage stained glass leftover from previous establishment. My only beef with this spot is the very sterile atmosphere; all.tables and chairs are very flat and sharp-edged. This spot doesnt feel cozy. It could do with some second hand couches/armchairs, a book or magazine shelf, some small nooks, what have you to make it more cozy and inviting.

Amazing coffee! Pretty much anything you get is a good choice. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. Space is a little small and it can get busy, but its worth it. There is usually street parking.

Great coffee good food.Used to be one in Urbana but the person leasing the building decided to hike the rent and open a competing coffee shop in the location they got forced out of. That place was huge; their Champaign location is smaller, but everything is just as good and they have more food!

It was peaceful. I like to go there an hour or two before sunset as the sun sends its rays in by that time which is really cool during winter. People who work there at this time are nice and smiling.

I cannot praise this place enough. This is my first time in here and I instantly fell in love. Beautiful, comfortable space, extensive menu with great food options, and my cappachino was perfect. Ordering was simple and made sense. Customer service was exceptional and welcoming. The girl behind the counter was super helpful. Had the avocado stack per her recommendation. Delicious.

The Lavender Latte that I got was interesting and strong. The food wasnt worth what I paid and on one of my visits, the kitchen was just closed unexpectedly. Still, it is a great place to work and have coffee.

I love this place - great coffee and food. But it is always so packed with college students that you can never find a place to sit. I am happy they are getting great business but I do wish the space was slightly larger to accommodate more customers.

I mainly go here to read or work. Im not a huge fan of coffee, even though I get it a few times, so I cannot a review on the coffee. My coffee loving friends, however, say this is where they get the best coffee in town. I also see that from the number of people who come in there to order a cup or two. Personally, I like the music, I like the staff, I like the space.

Great coffee, great food, and really well-rounded breakfast/lunch menu. Atmosphere is great. I love the big windows and all of the natural light they bring in. They also have really spacious bar seating if you need a place to post up to do work for awhile. Avionics is probably my new favorite coffee shop in Chambana

Good selection of drinks. I had a pour over of some Ethiopian roast, and it was made to perfection. The employees were slightly overworked, so the wait and service was subpar, but the drinks were good. Compared to thirty-thirty and other top tier coffee shops, this one is pretty close, and worth a try.

Didnt feel like I was quite hipster enough to be in there, but the peanut butter chocolate chip muffin was a home run! $3 for a muffin seems a bit pricey to me, but I guess thats about par-for-the-course with fancy coffee shops. Would have given 5 stars, but the cashier didnt seem like he was excited to sell me a muffin.

Good cold brew up in here. Stopped on my way through town, because ya always gotta go local. Rad vibes...makes me wish I went to U of I. Ill be back again.

Nice location. Compared to the brew lab, the other place on campus that I think offer great coffee, this one is more towards non-students (might be wrong but that is my feeling). They offer Chemax instead of Hario V60 in brew lab. Highly recommend!
