My husband bought me a 2015 Chevy Suburban for my birthday a few months back. It only takes E85 gas, we live 30 minutes outside of Champaign and have limited resources gas stations that carry what we need. The Thorntons on Neil St in Savoy doesnt carry E85, but luckily this gas station is not much further of a travel to get it. I called and spoke with Jerry, he was extremely helpful, kind, and informative about the rewards program. Thank you!

Used to absolutely love Thortons as its close to my house and everyone is friendly (there still are some current employees that are extra friendly to me) but in the last month or so the new employees have went down hill. Im tired of getting treated bad, like Im annoying them by coming in and buying things. Getting ignored, not told have a good day etc, and today around 4:30pm I went in to get a cup of water for my son because its 100 degrees out, was 10 cents short and got told I cant take it and the lady walked away from me while I was trying to pay with cash instead. My boyfriend and I will both be finding a new gas station to go to everyday now until the employees can treat people with just a little compassion! Because these new employees are AWFUL!

If I have a choice Thorntons is where I go. Good gas prices, friendly staff and lots of snacks. The place is clean, and I sware I see at least one person I kniw when heading in. All around great fill up and Is convenience store.

My favorite place in champaign county. Any time I came back to my home town I stop to get me a mister pib. Fountain pop. Only place that has it. All the employees are really nice too.

The only thing that keeps me from rating Thorntons a 5 star gas station is that I pump gas and use my credit card but I can NEVER get a receipt outside. Obviously, the paper has not been replaced. Theres plenty of people inside the store. Why cant they put receipt paper at the pumps???

$2.389 a gallon? Whats not to love? The place is usually real clean and theres always tp in the restrooms.

I went in there this morning on 11/3/17 around 8am and the black girl with glasses is eating behind the counter and chewing food while helping me. DISGUSTING AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! What happened to peoples work ethic these days?

Great clean gas station and friendly workers! The ices are great and the rewards are good for the gas. Some of the pumps dont stop though and we have had overflows.

Experienced awful customer service from the late night crew. The lady behind the counter was extremely rude for no reason at all.

This afternoon I stopped by at the station to fill up on my way to work. Gas was $2.78 ($2.75 with my card)....and ALL pumps were down. Just stopped by on my way home from work, gas is up to $3.99. I went inside, explained to the guy about situation earlier, and asked if I could fill up with the price it was when the pumps were down. He said no. You have just lost a long time, loyal customer. ((dont even deserve a one star today))

Good gas prices. And they didnt seem to mind me mixing cherry slush with my pepsi.
