My daily dose of coffee, though shut through the pandemic.

Really like their coffee and the food they have here. However, my order has been entirely forgotten 3 times in as many days. After waiting for several minutes, during which time the people who ordered after me were served the same drink I ordered, I had to leave to get to class. I couldn’t get the attention of any of the workers the first two times, though the third I was able to ask for my order. Hopefully this is an isolated incident!

Worst coffee. None of the workers know how to use an espresso machine let along maintaining it clean. Since they dont wipe clean the shot basket before each uses, or temper, there always is a grain. I would avoid ordering coffee(from this location anyway). Just get soda.Edit: Since initial review they made improvements. It is cleaner and shot are much much much better. One thing that hasnt changed though is cleaning shot basket on each uses. I am sure even if they just dry wipe the shot basket it will improve shots.

This coffee shop is exactly what BIF needs. The coffee is great and inexpensive. What really makes this place stand out is the incredible service. More than half of the baristas know my name and order, and I never feel like a stranger when Im getting my coffee. Even though I could get coffee at a variety of other places on my walk to class, I choose to wait so I can go to this Espresso Royale.

This place has a great feel to it.

Wonderful for your study habits, located on the 1st level of the Undergrad Library it has been recently removed and makes a day at the library just a little less tedious.

THE BEST coffee shop ANYWHERE! Lemon bars are epic! Our favorite location is by Kranert Center and we have been customers for 18 years- the quality stays the same.

They served some of the most yummy lemonade I have ever had.
