I was here today I witnessed a young lady waiting for a while a lady was helping her she seemed confused then she left her to go help someone else this women had been waiting over 30 minutes and was ignored I o we heard her say she worked at the Mesa store didn’t catch her name she was there before it got busy manager was sitting at her desk not doing anything to help anyone in rhe store Sandra her name was after the poor woman waited I then heard Sandra yell at her to come back a different day she yelled at her in front of my husband and I as well as two new customers walking in there was more then enough staff to help out I will not be buying jewelry from Kay’s at this location find nicer management and train employees better
Sandra at Kay’s (Chandler) is excellent! She worked hard to make sure our special order ring was delivered for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Where we validated our wedding in Church (Married). It was getting close to deadline. With Seema help they delivered our ring to the church. Excellent customer service. God has a plan and they helped make it happen. Thank you, Sandra and Seema.
I dropped off my ring from Kay for a repair. Although I told the store manager, Sandra, to send it to a shop in state she sent it to California. It then came back and was wrongly repaired so she then sent it to the local shop. I was finally able to pick it up 2 MONTHS after I originally dropped it off (1 month after the promised by pick up date). There are now more problems with my ring then before I dropped it off. When I picked up the ring I voiced the opinion that I thought part of the ring was messed up Sandra said that wouldnt happen and walked away instead of even looking at the part I was concerned about. This happened when I was the only customer in the store. The whole experience was awful and Sandra treats customers with no kindness or respect. I will not go to this location again and only had because I was hoping to see Brittany, a past manager at this location. I will go to the Scottsdale location because that is where Brittany moved too. Brittany at Scottsdale treats her customers great and acknowledges any concerns a customer may have. Sandra treats her customers horribly and I cannot believe she is a store manager if this is the norm.
Really disappointed. I’ve gone to this location multiple times because my husband bought my engagement ring there. It’s been a few years since I’ve been to this location and needed a small diamond replaced. I walked up to the counter and said I had a quick question. I was the only one in the store. I was missing 2 diamonds, one in my wedding band and the other in my engagement. I showed her both and told her that I bought the engagement at the this location but the band at a different store. She hyper focused on the band and told me I would have to go to that store to get it fixed (it doesn’t even exist in Chandler mall anymore so I couldn’t even ask). I repeated that I bought my engagement at this location and she said “I know”. Then another customer walked up on the other side of the store and she rushed to help him. I felt like she didn’t really care to help me. I met up with my husband and we went back together that day and she was still extremely rude. Even my husband agreed that she was rude, so I know it wasn’t just me lol! When I told her I was frustrated with the customer service and that I felt that she was just trying to get rid of me she got very defensive. I have worked in customer service, and I’m not saying the customer is always right. It takes ALOT for me to get irritated with services. But she did not communicate very well and was not helpful. She just came up with excuses and tried blaming me because I walked up to her and asked a question. I told her nevermind and left, I heard her making unnecessary comments as I left. We took my ring to Fast Fix at chandler mall instead and the service was night and day. The gentleman there was very nice and professional! If you need a repair, I suggest going to Fast Fix instead!
Ive been buying jewelry here for a little while, my experience is always great, staff is very helpful, and the jewelry is beautiful.
We went to Kays in Chandler mall. Our sales person was very nice. We spent a lot of time with her picking wedding rings. We finally decided on the 2 we wanted. When we went to check out my card was declined several times. Sandra the manager insteaded it was my card even after having the card company verified it was Kays system not my card. She still was rudly stating it wasnt her fault. It was me. After calling someone she found out it was her companys system! You would think she would turn a little nice after that but no! She attempted to charge my card over and over which ended with 3 transactions! 2 I declined from the cc safe checks. The 3 rd one was approved but still in pending until the system closed out. Sandra insisted she had to run my card yet again because its in pending. Now for the 3rd time I had the cc company on the phone confirming the charge was approved and it was in pending until the system ran its course. But this Sandra lady just couldnt wrap her brain around how a credit card charge is processed. She was rude, and quite stupid. She ruined what should have been a beautiful experience. I ENDED UP WITH NO RINGS AND AN $1800 CHARGE. Kays bad business!
I am giving 1 star review based on ordering online, trying to return merchandise, opening a line of credit through genesis, as well as, customer service through Kay. Top 3 words from this experience chaotic, horrendous, and misinformed! This business is rated #1 of worst places to buy jewelry. Best advice I could give you if your still wanting to buy something. Place an order that is not a lot of money, try and return it and then call about the order and a see how long it takes to get your money back. This just insane!!!!!!!
I have bought all of my wifes jewelry from Kays over the years. however after today a dont know if I will be back. Felt like I was at a car dealership and getting worked over by a sales man. Theres a lot to what happened today but I had to leave felt like I was being taken advantage of if I tryed to stay a buy something. Dont know where to go now. Never felt this way from them.

Poor customer service waiting a good 15 mins before being greeted while I was the one to walk over and introduce my self while they had one guy just walking back and forth looking at a computer and imputing him self in another customers conversation with out helping before I just walked away. And went to another jeweler.

In case you dont read the whole review, if you need ANYTHING, ask for Brittany or Angelina. I think this was the first time I have ever visited a store where I was able to talk to the staff (they were not busy at time of visit).I have been a customer since 1997. I have always purchased their ESP. This time I went I found out they went electronic on their accounts. Angelina was great trying to get all my jewelry entered in...even the very old ones.I went in for inspection, repairs and cleaning. Brittany was thorough in making sure the jewelry was up to par. I had questions about sizing, diamonds and so on. Questions Angelina could not answer Brittany would step in. These two ladies worked very well together taking care of customers and their needs. It may have been the time of day but it was also pleasant to be able to just talk to them.Brittany & Angelina took EXCELLENT care of me. Its too bad staff changes more often than Im in the store, but until they are no longer there, they will be my first point of contact.
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with, bought a wedding ring,stone became cloudy within two week, now this was in April as of August have been able to rectify the problem wedding in less than a month still no answers to my problem only lip service. Sounds like Kay’s Jewelers is going out of business so they are no longer in customer satisfaction.
I got a ring a year ago. I used their credit card and was told it was 40 dollars a month for the payments. Well it was 60 dollars a month. When I realized it I had 4 months of bad hits on my credit. I pay them off for the ring right when I realize what happened. I tried to ask then to take my hit I got on my credit.l since the ring was paid off and I made a mistake. All I get is a run around. I have 4 months worth of bad hits from a mistake I didnt realize until it was to late. Do not go here they are terrible.

Stopped by Kay Jewelers in the Chandler Fashion Mall to pick out a surprise Birthday Gift for my wife. The customer rep was very helpful in showing me various options..the gift we finally selected was a big hit with my wife. It was a reflection of the great service at reasonable prices they offer for high quality jewelry.
Had prongs and 2 diamonds fell out, had prongs rebuilt and diamonds replaced. It’s now only 8 months later and lost another diamond in the same place where the prongs were rebuilt. Called and were very rude said 6 month warranty only. Don’t go there because they will not back up there own mistakes. Mall jewelers do not meet the standards of experienced jewelers. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

I previously left a negative review for the Kay jewelers at Superstition Springs mall, as they brushed me off for almost 2 months before telling me that the specific ring I requested was sold out and discontinued all over the US, and it could not be located. Out of curiosity I went to the Kay Jewelers at Chandler fashion and gave Sarah the stock number for the ring I wanted and she took my number and said she would reach out... 4 days later I got a call that she hadnt forgot about me and my ring was on its way.. About a week or 2 later I got a call that my ring arrived, sure enough it was the exact ring I had been looking for and the one superstitions employees could NOT locate (I spoke to 3 people at Superstition). I am so glad I chose to come to this location and will be doing all my shopping at this location only. Ive been so pleased with all the help every employee here has given in helping me locate this ring and they even added a temporary ring sizer until I am able to get it sized perfectly.
I have an account and we have purchased my engagement ring, our wedding bands and other items. Every time we go into the chandler location we get dirty looks from the employees and we are treated as if we shouldn’t be in there or we don’t have the “money” to be going in there. We are usually dressed in causal closes-jeans/nice shirt etc. and they are always rude to me until I pull my Kay card out and they see my account with my high credit limit. The only one that has treated us nicely is the male manager. It’s very uncomfortable going in here every time I need to go.
I refuse to go anywhere near this shop. They are the most pushy sales people I have ever encountered. I used a Kay in Idaho for my first marriage and was happy, but this place is terrible. I went in to just look around because I saw some cool Star Wars jewelry and wanted to check it out. One guy asked if I needed help and I said I was just looking. He had the gal to say No man comes into a jewelry store to just look. I must be the one weirdo it seems. He proceeded to ask me what my price range was, completely ignoring what I just said. I said again, I was just looking. He then asked Whos the girl?. I got fed up and just walked out.So maybe it was just him and I was just having bad luck. I came in a month later, different employee, almost exact same experience. I wont be going to a Kay anytime soon or ever, shoot I probably wont go inside a shop if all employees act this way. If you want a sale, dont be pushy, thats the reason I went with Kay the last time.
The women in the store are very nice, but... are very pushy and fake. Was trying to make a decision on a big purchase and two ladies were non stop pushing me to buy. It was very annoying and awkward. I ended up buying but only because my girlfriend broke the previous ring I bought from Kay’s. I had full warranty but only gave me $100 off new purchase (original purchase $800). And only a couple diamonds missing, 2 at most. They have to be working off commission because they were acting like savages trying to get me to buy. They were so aggressively hostile 👿. Will never ever buy from Kay’s in my life again.
Chandler location would be my only place to go. I been to AZ mills, Scottsdale locations and they are not very kind or professional, they try to hustle you or convince you into buying there inventory. I just smile and say no thanks, and most co-worker go by your style on how your dressed or how you look and I find that very inconvenient to most stores. But Chandler Kay Jewelers located in Chandler fashion mall is kind and generous. Thank you for your patience and giving me time to think.
I had a great experience shopping at Kay Jewelers. Everyone in the Chandler Mall Store is always so helpful and friendly, I love that they give back to the customers, especially on customer appreciation day. The prices is always affordable and that’s a great thing. Thanks Kays. She went to Kay’s!

I love my ring and as long as I was spending money they were pleasant. But I picked it up the lady had me sign I picked it up and just said you are done. She was very rude.

I visited this location for a ring, I was helped by Krystal, very welcoming at the initial visits. I placed an order for a ring, which she said will be available and will inform me on that. I heard nothing, i happened to visit the mall and i get to know from another rep that she sees an email saying a delay in delivery(i was never INFORMED), i left a msg and requested to get back on the status as i needed my order. I didnt hear from her, more so when i visited again, she left to their cabin as she saw me, didnt come out to help or talk when other rep asked her. Also, talked to the manager and she requested me to not be loud for other customers will listen to it!!! WELL I UNDERSTAND IF YOU CANT ORDER ANYTHING, BUT ITS VERY IMP TO INFORM YOUR COSTUMER WITH ALL THE UPDATES. IF U LOOK FOR BETTER SERVICE, AVOID THIS LOCATION OR Sonia, who works there as well was very helpful.
Very friendly and helpful service provided to me when I was there to pick up an item.
Customer service was very good, although it took longer to get the rings than they said it would. Also, the jeweler messed up two different times, which was very annoying. When you pick up your jewelry, make sure to inspect it thoroughly to make sure the jeweler got it right.

Terrible customer service.
Visited this location to search for an addition to my wifes wedding ring. The guy took a look at her ring and said there are multiple loose diamonds and advised she not wear it and get it fixed today! He quoted us a pretty high price just to fix our wedding ring. We decided to get a second opinion at another jewler in the chandler area, london gold. They confirmed no loose diamonds and cleaned it for me at no cost. Stay sway from this kay jewlers in the mall they need to pay the high mall rent and will screw the customer to do so. Sad that companies like that cant do honest business. Beware and always get a second opinion.
