Bought a washer and dryer. For months I’ve been hearing, “It’ll be here this week.” More than 6 months later and I only have my dryer. They finally gave us a loaner washer but it leaks. When I called to let them know, wasn’t an issue for them—still can’t get a call back. The loaner washer is still leaking and they still have my money and I don’t have the washer I paid for. I’ve purchased plenty of delayed things during the pandemic—I’ve only been angry with the companies that can’t, at the very least, be honest about the turnaround time to help your customer make a decision. If you don’t know, be honest. If you know it’s going to be 6+ months, be honest.

Purchased washer and dryer today. Joy had us in and out in 15 minutes beating Lowes and Home Depot on price, delivery date and service with a smile. Dont believe the myth that the Big Boys save you money. Buy local from people that care about you.

I feel foolish for trying to shop elsewhere. I wish I would have come here first!When our dishwasher suddenly broke down, I first found a replacement model through Costco online. Well, turns out they don’t do hardwired installation and wouldn’t be able to deliver it until a couple weeks later. Then I went to Lowe’s and placed an order for another dishwasher. They could install it and said I should get a call in 2-7 days. Nine days later, I call Lowe’s and they tell me they’ve run out of that model and don’t know when they will get it.I then went to Wholesale Appliance center, picked out a model and they installed it the same day. The dishwasher was slightly less expensive than the same model at Home Depot and installation / delivery was less than half the cost of the big stores.

Prices might be good, customer service not so much. My son-in-law bought a dishwasher and it was missing a piece...4 months later, still making excuses.

Loved this place when we went to order all our appliances and recieved almost all of them except fridge was told it was on back Order that was fine but well it’s been almost three months now waiting we have checked up on it three times. I was in need of a quick microwave for college and Tim Corbett was more than eager to give me one for free that he had left over in his warehouse. After I get out of college I will be going to Wholesale Appliance Center for all of my appliance needs.

This location sells various types of appliances such as stoves, freezers, refrigerators and so forth at reasonable prices. It is located close to the highway however it is not close to the interstate access. There are many different types of stores and businesses located in and around the area.

Exceptional service! I stopped by today after picking up a dryer from another place that needed a new plug. Tim, the owner, walked outside with me to my truck and changed the cord himself, and at no charge! I would highly recommend Wholesale appliance if you’re looking for an honest company that actually cares about helping people.

I buy a lot of appliances for rentals, and both the service and even the prices beat the big boxes, and the people and their values of honesty, and efficiency are inspiring.

The staff and owner were patient and beyond helpful in my decision making process to purchase a new dishwasher. Update to Initial Review:I originally gave Wholesale Appliance Center a one star review because of an issue with the delay in receiving a refund, as well as some customer service related issues.Shortly after posting my review, I received a call from Tim, the owner. Tim was eager to resolve my issue, he accepted responsibility for the lengthy delay in issuing the refund for the refrigerator exchange, and waived the delivery and restocking fees that he could have applied to the refund, as a measure of restoring our faith in his ability to provide good customer service beyond the purchase.Our card was credited as Tim said it would be, and he followed up the next day to check on the status of the refund.We are fully satisfied with how Tim has handled this situation, and we love the black stainless Samsung suite of appliances that we purchased from Wholesale Appliance Center.-------------------------------------We purchased a full suite of Samsung appliances from Tim in May. The refrigerator that was ordered had to be exchanged. The exchange occurred in early June, and we have yet to receive the credit, which is roughly $1450.There were a number of other issues related to this purchase with regard to service and performance, as well as damage to the washer and dryer during install. All in, we spent almost 10k.I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want customer service beyond the purchase. My emails to Tim, and his finance manager, Carla, about this issue have gone unanswered.Today, I finally filed a dispute with our credit card company. Id hoped to resolve this over the phone with Tim today, but shortly after I was placed on hold to wait to speak with him, I was forwarded to his voicemail. Seems like were being dodged around our refund.

Bought a new washing machine here. Staff is well educated about their products. They are the best appliance store I have ever used. They have a great delivery and installation service. They moved my dryer and even changed the side that the door opens up on to make my laundry room more efficient. They could have sold me a far more expensive washing machine but instead made sure I purchased what was truly best for me. Financing was quick and easy. After purchasing subzero, viking stove, 3 dishwashers, 2 wine coolers, 2 washer and dryers, 2 ovens, ice maker, etc. several years ago, my ice machine no longer worked so I ordered a new one which they installed and delivered. It never made ice so I called them and they sent Elite appliance repair person out to repair it. Brand new machine needed a part so I waited. New part was installed and still didnt produce ice. They came out again and couldnt fix it and said they needed to order a different part. I waited again... Called Appliance warehouse again and spoke with many sales people and finally talked with the Manager, Tim. We agreed they would pick it up and fix it on Monday this week and NOBODY SHOWED UP! Waited all day, and called Tim but he was unavailable, left message, never called back. Called again next day and Tim said they would be out today with a new ice maker. NOBODY has shown up so I called again and was told by salesperson that they would deliver it on Friday! Salesperson could not tell me why they didnt show up Monday or today. I asked to speak to Tim and he was unavailable... two sales people have taken down my phone number for Tim. They said they would leave him a message. At this point, I felt it was necessary to write a review. I have spent thousands $ with this company and this is how their customer service works. Five days of waiting and being available for repair and delivery people and still a defective ice machine.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH WHOLESALE APPLIANCE and Tim Corbett (the owner) we own an appliance company in Charleston and do the warranty service for Bosch he called in for a warranty repair saying the dishwasher was installed yesterday, our tech came out and found a 2-year-old dishwasher and he gave us a fake invoice from his company (they are NOT allowed to sell Bosch) when we told him he owes us the service charge (which we told him he may have to pay BEFORE we came out ) he now refuse to pay, this is NOT the 1st time we had issues with Wholesale appliance ... go to Plugs nice and honest people...

Went for a package of appliances and met with Tim who has great product knowledge and made my choice painless. The delivery team was top notch also (Taylor and Dillon) I stongly recomend this company.

We bought a fridge with tiny scratch on it, delivered something that looked like it had been in a boxing match! Tim (owner) never returned my calls (at least 5) or remedy the situation. Sent someone to pickup the fridge unannounced and left a voice message (no one was home). Abhorrent service and after numerous purchases, would not step foot in this place again! Pathetic treatment of loyal Charleston customers.

Terrible retailer. Theyve worked hard for their D- rating from the better Business Bureau. We ordered an $1800 refrigerator and had two defective models delivered. With the second WAC acknowledged it was defective but refused to take it back. In effect they said, We would rather stick you with it than argue with the manufacturer.I intend to pursue them for return of my $1800 but shouldnt have to be put to this trouble.Stay away from Wholesale Appliance Center, LLC

They are very very nice when selling. If you have problem they can care less. They are happy to give you a phone number to call. Ice maker went out twice and now horrible noises.

After repeated delays and misinformation from Lowes, we turned to Wholesale Appliance Center to purchase our new appliances for a kitchen renovation. We worked with Dusty (who was fantastic!) and placed our order on Wednesday evening and the appliances were delivered on-time, as-promised on Saturday. Do yourself a favor and skip the corporate, big-box appliance stores and go local -- you wont regret it - the entire experience was wonderful compared to the horrible experience we had with Lowes!

Wish I would have read Yelp reviews. I also had a terrible delivery experience. They were extremely late and then delivered a broken dryer. They either didnt test it prior to leaving or just didnt tell me. When I figured it out the next day and called to get it fixed, they told me to call the manufacturer. I left several voicemails with the owner Tim Corbett with no response. My suggestion is to go learn about appliances from WAC and go buy them from Lowes or Home Depot as the prices are comparable despite what WAC will try to tell you. And if/when you have a problem, your more likely to get someone to help you out.

I built a new house and visited servel different appliance stores and fell across this place which happened to be the oldest family owened business in town and they where great everyone was so helpful and knowledgable.... I definentley recommend this place. They make you feel like family.....
