Import Automotive / Brad is by far the most honest and best mechanic in the Charleston area. I visited this shop for years and constantly compared costs, they always came back less or right on par. If I ever went for a second look, their suggestions were always reinforced and highly recommended. They are flexible and work quickly, I never waited longer than necessary. I also sold my Honda Pilot to this shop when I decided to buy a different SUV, they offered more than my car was valued for trade-in and made the process extremely seamless. I was recommended to this shop by multiple people, Brad / Import Automotive is definitely a local hidden gem.

Brought my car in for brakes and rotors, he didn’t change the breaks and instead noted they still had 75% life left. Don’t know too many other shops that would do that. Brad is hands down the most honest mechanic around. I’ll never take my car anywhere else.

Straight forward guy running things. Did good work and quote matched the costs. Fit me into his schedule quickly and got the work done reasonably fast.Enough different shops and restaurants within walking distance to keep me entertained while he worked.

Brad is a phenomenal mechanic in general but especially with Toyota’s and Lexus. He has done a ton of work on my vehicles and is always honest, quick and prices very fairly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone his way.

I would highly recommend this place. I took my Toyota Corolla for him to look it over to see if the items the Toyota dealer said needed fixing which were expensive. He checked it over and said I was ok cause these items were not in need of repair for quite some time. Such an honest gentleman so I will take my car there instead of the dealer. I truly appreciate someone who is honest.

Brad is amazing--I took my Tacoma to him for two years before moving out of town to the Cincinnati area. I actually drove 10 hours back to Charleston once in the last six months for Brad to service my truck because I had not yet found anyone I trusted as much as him. I had a really great experience. I love my car and try to take the best care of it. I brought my Mazda in and had multiple things done to including new shocks, brake pads and an oil change. Everything was done fast and noticed an immediate difference in my shocks driving home. Everything was as he said it would be and cost me less than I thought it would. I give import automotive solutions a 10 out of 10 and most importantly I trust the work!

I cannot say enough great things about Brad. I brought him my old, high mileage Subaru in need of some major repair work. Brad was happy to help and his diagnosis was seriously thorough. He explained everything in a long, detailed email and priced out every repair individually. He was honest about what could be put off for later. Parts and labor prices were very reasonable. Got my 2013 tacoma lifted 3 inches and ordered new 33” tires through Brad for a great price. Also got a new exhaust installed. All this in about 5 or 6 hours. Dropped my truck off in the morning around 10 and had it back around 3 with an all new look. Brad knows his stuff and I will be a repeat customer without question.

Car was overheating told me what I needed to do then offered to come get me if couldnt make it in- made to Import without more overheating. Thats when the real top notch service really started.
