Great selection of beer and wine. Only place I can find some of my favorites. My wife loves albarinos which I cant seem to find too many other places. The beer selection is pretty much as good as youll find in the area. Only place I can find some of my favorite out of area craft beers! I also love they carry Legal Remedy beers.

I was quite lost in your very large store. No one would help me and I asked twice. It wasnt very busy and I got the same response each time I asked for help, let me get someone to help you with that. Well no one came both times.i ended up leaving without purchasing anything at all and so that was a waste of my time. I did notice the very same people that didnt have time to help me had time to smoke a cigarette outside. I love the selection of everything yall have and I thought that the store looked phenomenal. But what good does any of it do it I have no clue what to buy. Anyway, you asked....

David M. at Total Wine in West Ashley was very helpful to us. He went out of his way to get details for everything we needed. He turned us on to some great sparkling wine. He listened to us as we described what we were looking for (we weren’t even sure what we needed) and steered us in the right direction. Great experience! He also sold us on the Total Wine Club, which is a much better deal than we getting elsewhere. We were very happy with our experience at Total Wine.

Great place to get those hard to find wines and beer including local craft beers. The wine tastings are fun and you may find a new favorite. The staff is extremely helpful and you usually dont have to hunt anyone down to get help.The store is divided into 2 sections:Beer and wine on one side and liquor on the other side. It is definitely worth the drive for those living outside of West Ashley.

Amazing selection of everything alcohol!!! Mini bottles in any flavor you could think of to try out something new without buying full size bottles!! Prices are pretty competitive as well!! Definitely recommend this place!

Me and my boyfriend are from Florida and we came to Charleston since he loves it here and wanted to relax for vacation! So while relaxing we wanted to go grab some alcohol from a local alcohol store so we went! I had my ID and my boyfriend forgot his but I was buying and was in the store and when we went to check out an older lady was our cashier and she had the worst attitude. She told me she needed both our ID’s which we didn’t make a fuss about we thought it was understandable she had the manager come and he told us the same thing and we were okay with it! We didn’t make an issue so we ran back to our airbnb and got his ID and went right back! When we were Checking out once again she helped us and she looked at our ID’s and threw them and called for an ID check. I was astonished because you could clearly see we came back and that we were nice to her! The previous person before us who checked out with her didn’t have issues with her and she was nice me and my boyfriend work in the tattoo industry so we have tattoos and piercings and she was so mean to us and the manager was very nice but how she acted was uncalled for.

Good selection of wine, beer, and liquor. Staff is generally friendly and helpfull. There is a nice humidor with cigars here as well. Minus 1 star due to large amount of parking spots dedicated to online orders. This took up valuable parking for on premise guests. I could understand 1 or 2, this was a too many.

I come here every time I visit Charleston . They have wines that are hard to find in Georgia. Love it

They never have what I need and wont order new products for you. Total Wine has a poor selection and minimal variety. Bottles is 100x better. Bottles always has a great selection, and their customer service is better. Bottles will order stuff for you too, which I appreciate.

Kegs of your local favorites can be ordered, as well.The store is well organized which makes it easy to find what you want.Single beers available, as well, if you are into variety.

Great selection of bourbon and other spirits. Very knowledgeable staff too. We always end up chatting with other customers who make great recommendations. I always come away discovering something new.

In store for over 15 minutes and no one offered assistance with several employees standing around up front. I had to seek out help, but once received, gentleman was very knowledgeable.

Total Wine has a great selection of spirits, especially Bourbon. Mike, on the spirit side always has great suggestions for great bourbon. He is also great to talk to about the current selection of bourbon on hand and store picks. He always has a great attitude and very personable. He is a huge asset to the Total Wine in Charleston.

Total Wine serve a big space for accessibility especially for wine and specialty beer. The wine is often off label or their brands even though they dont say so. Bottles stored upright. Often cant find a wine unless its their favorite label twice in a row.As for liquor, they are often out of popular brands. They have some knowledgable staff but if you cat stock it, its a tough sell on second choices.The store is looking shoddy.

Outstanding selection of wine, great selection of spirits and fair selection of beer. They have 4 of the 11 Trappist beers - really nothing stands out in the beer selection. This is just too bad as Total Wine used to have a great selection of beer. One used to find cool and unusual beers here, but now that just isn’t the case. There are better places to buy beer. Bummer.

Huge selection and variety of wines organized by location, color, type and more. I found the local selection and picked out a couple different ones to try. Im from Georgia and its always great to try whats local. The Biltmore Red Blend was flavorful with a hint of sweet and just right for our Fourth of July Barbeque on the Ashley River. They have a whole section for 1.5 L bottles for your next party. They also sell mixers. My husband swears by Fevertree Ginger Beer for his Moscow Mules. Unfortunately we went on a Sunday and the Liquor section was closed, so be sure to plan out your party in advance and dont get stuck without the Vodka on Sunday!

Best all around store to buy alcohol in town. The selection of liquors and wine is huge, also a really nice beer selection. If you have any problems finding what you need in this massive warehouse the kind staff are there to assist you in finding what you need! Highly recommend

Staff is amazing. Josh (tall guy) is always on point and only suggests the tastiest bourbons. Im typically on the hunt for rare unicorn whiskies and Josh has opened me up to the newest undiscovered bottles that give the coveted bottles a run for the money. He also is extremely personable and has an authentic personality. He doesnt come off as some snobby salesmen pushing for the company.

This is my favorite place to find the finest selection of alcohol and liquor. Youll also find a decent sized humidifier room if you like to smoke cigars. They also offer plenty of specials and have many trial bottles to try first so you dont have to purchase a huge bottle if youre unsure.

Love this store, and their staff. The store is clean and well stocked. They will fill your growler, so you dont have to buy one of theirs. I can count on getting Beaujolais Nouveau on release day. They also have a decent mead selection.The parking lot is an absolute sh*tshow, currently exacerbated by road work, but thats not their fault.

I love this place. I mean who wouldnt (people who dont drink alcohol), right. Employees wearing masks and all are helpful and knowledgeable. They do taste testing. The variety of wines and beers is CRAZY, then the liquor side, hahaha, you can get easily lost in there as well. They stay stocked up. Cigars are available too.

Many items out of stock, awful encounter while checking out. The cashier, Connie, was unable to help so called a manager, Eric, over by saying “tell this person how it works” while pointing at me. Eric was able to resolve the issue but hours later I am still annoyed. Will not be back. FYI - we are Grand Reserve members Thus was our first time back in the store after 14 months

Tons of beer and wine, went in hoping to find some good bourbon and walked down every aisle and did not see one bottle of liquor in this store. This store is advertised as a spirits store but does not have anything but wine and beer.

The store itself deserves a 5. They have great prices, a great selection, friendly and helpful staff, and a clean store. Unfortunately I cant recommend their curbside pickup at all! It took over 10 minutes for then to even acknowledge my arrival and another 15 to get the items out to me! In those same 25 minutes, i saw many folks go in, pick out all of their items, checkout, pack their cars and leave. Not exactly a time saver.

Total Wine & More on Ashley River Road in West Ashley is a complete source for all things wine and liquor as they have a wide selection at really good values. I have had a really good customer experience here over the years and have been satisfied with all of my purchases. They are well worth the visit.

This place is fantastic. Staff are very knowledgeable, there are wine samples. I was able to learn some interesting information about a riesling wine in that current years are better than older/aged.

Walked at 6:59 AM and accidentally went to the wine portion of the store. When I realized my mistake, I walked to the spirits portion and was rudely told No, we close at 7:00 PM you have to get out now. Im not from here and didnt know at the time that liquor sales close earlier in the day than beer or wine sales, but I was a potential customer who would have came back another day. However, I will not ever go back. I simple Im sorry but we cannot sell past (insert time) goes a long way. I would have understood, but instead, felt as if I was a child who wondered to the adult table at Thanksgiving.
