Its a wonderful Catholic bookstore, but also has other religious items available, studies and events for enriching your faith journey. They have a public Eucharistic chapel to spend time in prayer with Jesus, a landscaped courtyard garden, a tea room, and the John Paul II room displaying works of art. Free parking is available behind the building. Theres so much its impossible difficult to describe it all. The place is simply beautiful and a peaceful place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. We are so blessed to have a Pauline Media Center and the wonderful daughters of St.Paul that are a joy to converse with.

Wonderful sisters, wonderful store. A price point for all budgets. Though Im not of the Catholic faith, I was able to find beautiful Christian items that made special gifts for people of faith in my life. Thank You for a great experience.

The Sisters run a lovely and charming bookstore. Come in and feel the presence of the Lord, sit and rest in the Chapel or peruse the large selection of quality items to enrich your Faith. There is even a secret garden in the back of the store. In early December they offer a free Birthday Party for Baby Jesus with cake and a visit crom St. Nick!

Pauline Books and Media Charleston on King Street in Charleston is a great place to shop, learn, and even take time to reflect. This is more than a book store as they have a chapel, garden, and even a tea room. There are plenty of quiet places to take some quiet time on a busy day. The staff here is wonderful and friendly.

Great bookstores are rapidly disappearing from our culture, but as long as the Pauline Books and Media Center is in Charleston, the Holy City will always have a great bookstore. Its run by Catholic nuns, but almost anyone who enjoys sitting in a bookstore and reading will love this place!

The Sisters are always welcoming and theres a little chapel, to sit and pray. I always find wonderful books and finger rosaries, I give to those in need. Today, they had Mepkin Abbey cookbooks for sale!

This is more than just a store, it is a place of spiritual renewal. The selection of Catholic reading material is unparalleled, the sisters who run the bookstore are a joy, there is a beautiful chapel, a tea room, and a secret garden that is my favorite place in Charleston. I cannot recommend this store enough, it is how the sisters support themselves (also, no tax!). All are welcome here, so stop on in!

Just a cute little store offering a welcome break from the capitalistic craziness all along King Street. Probably the Sisters answer to a higher calling than Google reviews, but I must say I enjoy going in there when I get a chance. What a blessing to have their store in the middle of Charleston.
