Ill definitely be coming back here! I first went to the We Fix It next door, and that was a disappointing experience. They said there was nothing they could do. Took my iPhone 8plus here because my screen was cracked and I cant go without a phone because I am on the road driving a good bit so I found CPR Cell Phone Repair in West Ashley and Im so glad I did because they fixed my phone in less than an hour and it was very inexpensive! Staff was super helpful and knowledgeable, resolving issues and providing support without charging but will definitely be bringing them more business since they can order another phone and transfer data to a new phone at a better deal than the regular providers! Along with no wait and giving extra support the providers no longer give. Especially helpful with the needs of the older person who owns the phone.

When youre not smarter than your own phone you need these folks to take care of your problems. No idea what to do with my sim card so I just shoved it in my phone. Apparently thats not how you do it. CPR did some voodoo magic, melted the phone down or something like that, and 30 minutes later I was back to normal. Awesome team. Thanks.

Took almost 3 days just to get a quote that I thought I could’ve gotten over the phone, and then in person when I made an appointment, but was forced to leave my laptop overnight for a full diagnosis and quote (which I was told would take less than 24 hrs)... well days went by and I called literally a dozen times, but they don’t answer their phone so it would roll over and transfer to another location. Finally I marched in there in person and demanded my laptop back which they still hadn’t given me pricing on. The quote was on point with others I’d gotten but I decided not to do the repair because of the terrible customer service and communication. To top it all of, when they returned my laptop to me they didn’t peel their tracking sticker all the way off and it left paper and sticky residue everywhere. THANKS FOR NOTHING!

I had water damage on my phone which made it pretty much not able to work. I took it to the Apple store and they couldn’t tell me what was wrong with it, basically apple told me I had to trade in my phone and get a new one. I heard about this place and decided I should take it to get a second opinion. I am very happy I did, they told me what was wrong with it in like 5 minutes, no appointment, and had it fixed in 2 hours and only costed me 100$. Highly recommend.

This was my first time at this location and it was a wonderful experience. Had my iPhone screen replaced, took around an hour was told it would take two so faster than expected and looks good as new. Computer worked great once I got it back but had to call 3 different times and show up once just to finally get a quote about 4 or 5 days after I brought it in.

I always appreciate the technology folks who can talk to me in language I can understand, who are not eager to disengage, and who seem to believe I can be helped. CPR folk were all of this and more. They knew what they were doing, how they could help me and my budget, and only took two days to fix the problem. I am very pleased with the results!

Went to have screen and digitizer replaced on my iphone 11, shortly after having it repaired we took the phone to our service provider because it was having issues, upon inspection the technician said when the replacement was done the moisture seal was not properly sealed inside the phone. After multiple calls to try and speak to a manager to address the issue we finally reached the owner who refused to offer any type of help whatsoever and pretty much told us we where on our own, even though her tech did not properly seal the phone after replacement. We are intending to follow up with the better business bureau since the owner refused to help. I wouldnt recommend using there devices, based solely on the fact that the manager was very unpleasant and refused to acknowledge the failure of her tech during replacement.

I purchased a very old laptop from a thrift store for a student of mine. I couldnt find the right screws to hold in the hard drive so I tried several electronics stores in the West Ashley area hoping to find two or three that would fit. No other store in the area would help me out, they all told me to call Dells customer service line and get the three hardware screws mailed. As a last ditch effort, I went to CPR off of 821 Orleans Rd.I take it that this isnt something thats really in their wheelhouse seeing as though Cell Phone is in their name. But, one of the men decided to take a look at the laptop. After about 15 minutes he found two screws, one for the side of the bay and one for the back of the computer. He was very meticulous. Two was enough to secure the drive and he couldnt find any others that would fit from his pile of hardware screws. I got the feeling that he wasnt rushing me out of the store even though the hunt was becoming a pain. They were put into the machine with care.When we were done I asked him what I owed him and he said not to worry about it. So, Im repaying CPR in the form of this Google review. They helped me out even when the issue I had was a bit outside of their usual business. Furthermore, they didnt charge me a dime! I will be returning in the unfortunate event that any of my electronic devices gives me a problem. They have definitely earned a new customer in me.

About a month ago I lost my 6 yr old grandson to a vicious dog attack and I had an old phone that had been broken for awhile with so many pictures and videos of my precious baby on it. I took the phone to Verizon and they could not help so I went to CPR and they were amazing. They were so kind and understanding to how important my phone was to me and in less than 24hrs they retrieved all my precious memories and I will forever be grateful to them for that!!!

So I was trying to upgrade the RAM on my laptop and I managed to strip the screws. I walked into the shop and Sean (or Shawn, I’m not sure of the spelling) managed to get them removed. I was so pleased that I didn’t bother to check if all the screws were removed. When I got home, I was ready to continue with this project and to my dismay, there was one more stripped screw intact. Refusing to let this defeat me, I drove back to the shop and the same guy continued to help. Let’s just say that this last screw was the bane of our existence and it couldn’t be removed. Sean continued to work on this, even though his shift ended, but with no luck. We discussed different options and he explained to me how he would proceed if I were to drop it off the next day. I decided to try it out myself, risking more damage, but I am very pleased to say that it worked! If he didn’t take the time to explain to me what went wrong I wouldn’t have completed my project. These guys are super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. If I ever need any help with my phone or laptop, I will definitely go back. I highly recommend!

Im from out of state and in Charleston for a family wedding when my phone charger wouldnt secure to the charging port. I first went to the AT&T store and they couldnt see anything but recommended me to CPR. Seconds after arriving at CPR and explaining what was happening, the attendant spotted debris shoved into my charge port. She had it safely removed and tested the port to ensure a cord would secure properly. I was there less than two minutes and they didnt charge me. Im impressed and very grateful!

I had CPR West Ashley replace a cracked screen on my iPhone. A month later the screen stopped working (they also broke my FaceID). I took the phone to another place for repair as I was in another state. I watched the guy do the repair and he said the last guy was a butcher (stripped screws, sloppy application of seal, etc). Avoid!

Cpr Charleston may be running the biggest scam there is. This company was recommended by my insurance group for a back glass replacement. However they never once told me that the new replacement wouldnt have an apple logo. Furthermore the whole frame is no longer Apple.When asked why they didnt use apple products they said because they werent apple certified. Well when i called apple they said that they could put a back glass with an apple logo if they wanted to no issue.When confronted the owner wants to disrespect me saying things about my financial situation. They do not want to do anything to fix this issue and say that the job was done correctly. Im no genius, but there is definitely something not correct about these photos... I even asked if theyd be willing to put on my old broken screen because my phone was worth more with the broken screen then it is now with their correct replacement, to which they want me to pay for the original fee to replace the back and another 90 dollars to put my old glass back on.Reply : does this not mean anything

They fixed a cracked screen for an iPhone11 with no issues. Very professional. The price was a little high but its an iPhone 11 so not an issue. I would recommend them.

This was one of the worst overall expeirences Ive ever had.I booked an appointment online and went into the store hopeful for my phone but definitely not prepared for what happened.I shattered my phone on the front and back - booked an appointment online went into the store. The man who greeted me was not very nice to begin with. He told me that they were going to have to keep my phone over night and it was going to be over double what they quoted me online.Long story short - I got my phone back and it started glitching very badly. Then it started to die every single time it got to 20-25%. I called back and they told me to come in for a diagnostic.I went there yesterday for a diagnostic which they told me would take two hours. After five hours I called for an update. An awfully rude man told me that he was waiting for my phone to replicate the problem (the problem happens when my phone dies on 20%) so my phone had been at the store for 5 hours and they did not even care to call me and update me!! I couldve killed my battery so much faster, so I went back to get my phone to kill it.Killed it and brought it back and they told me that it would be ready in an hour. Another 3 hours went by with no update once again. I went back to the store and they told me that there was nothing more they could do for me or my phone. They told me they could offer me a new phone but couldnt tranfser anything over from my old phone to my new phone. The man was completely rude, did not care how distraught I was, and didnt even try to make me feel better.I spent hours and hundreds of dollars to not have my phone and to have been treated awfully. No refund. No sorry. Nothing.I also asked to talk to a manager many times and that never happened. The West Ashley location is the worst out of all of them and I do not recommend them what so ever.

I am a business client with multiple devices. CPR has been great in repairing broken screens on multiple devices, and they do it in a timely manner, on weekends (when we can give the device up as it is a work device) and with good turnaround so we can take care of on days off. With our last repair, they had a problem with a defective replacement screen, and while it delayed the repair, the owner was very attentive to get a replacement and help make the inconvenience a little more tolerable. I appreciated the personal call from the owner who was willing to do whatever was reasonably needed to take care of us.

Had a great experience. My laptop was a mess. They initially ordered a new power cord because it wasnt working but there was so much more wrong with it (which I knew but didnt know what). After spending a LOT of time diagnosing all of the problems, they advised me I needed a new computer. They helped me pick out a computer and loaded everything on it, and gave me suggestions and a tutorial. Because the old one was so messed up, it took all day. They went above and beyond with the customer service, even offering to drop it off. And the price was more than reasonable. And they never charged me for the power cord :)

Hi, this message is for Nikki. Employee Sean noted This was the franchise owner. I brought my iPhone se to the shop with a cracked screen otherwise no problems. Figured, I ought to have the repair before it escalated as I had just got the phone on its release date in may. Screen fixed great, however had some new issues with the home button. I had to bring the phone back because the home button was not responding or phantom pressing 75% of the time. Tech replaced the home button for me under the warranty clause and there was a significant improvement, however it still did not work like new. Nonetheless, I own and operate my business itself and didn’t turn around to bring it back. Needed it for the day and decided I’d bring it back the following weekend to get the repairs completed. Pressed my home button one day and it got stuck, and cracked in order to release. No big deal, it already wasn’t working right and I had already planned to bring it back to the shop. Tech Sean told me, even though within thirty days of my receipt for warranty repair he couldn’t cover the physical damage and I would have to pay for the repair. I asked him if I could speak to someone regarding this. He alluded to speak with the owner Nikki but would not provide me contact information. I have paid and yes, would like my new phone to work properly and yes for this to be covered by warranty. It is my opinion that the original repair was done incorrectly and my phone has something wrong with it that the tech is not able to fix. Listen, I’m a business owner, sometimes these things happen. I am completely reasonable and I understand that people often try to get what they can especially in this business. I have had many phones repaired here before with no problems. I am not holding you responsible for the phone replacement, I was hoping the owner might return the fees I paid to have the phone corrected since the repairs have resulted in detrimental failure which proved to be the death of my phone ultimately. Seemed like a reasonable proposition considering.

Does not use official Apple products. Although uses highest quality parts available and stands behind work preformed. Can’t tell the difference. Really good customer service at drop off, pick up and on the phone. Drop off around 10 and was quoted pickup @ 3 but was done by noon.

I went to their website and set up an appt and got a free quote for a screen repair. The quote said 199 and was very specific to the device and service and also I got an email specifically saying we are ready to begin your repair when you come in for your appointment. When I walked in, I was told they dont have that screen in AND itd be $299 not to mention the lady was incredibly rude.

10-out-of-10 would recommend. I dropped my phone in a parking lot and cracked the front screen, and then it started getting worse. The lady at the front desk was great and super nice, and they fixed my phone very quickly and efficiently. Most importantly, when I looked the phone (Galaxy S9) over afterwards, I was amazed at how well they put it back together! Just like new! I greatly appreciate their hard work and recommend you giving them a call.

Had cracked screen replaced and even on a Sunday, they were able to take care of it within 2 hours. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend this place. I was near Charleston for business and needed emergency screen surgery and they delivered.

The staff here takes the time to listen to your problem and offers excellent solutions. I brought a laptop computer in with some problems, the technician spent a lot of time diagnosing the situation and ultimately found the repair would not be worth the expense. So instead of trying to work me for an expensive repair, they told me to say goodbye to the laptop and it would just be more cost-effective to buy a refurbished laptop. That was solid!! HIGHLY recommend.

I had a pretty good experience and I would definitely go there again to have my phone repaired. My ONLY concern is that my screen still seems to be less vibrant than it was originally. Other than that, was the team at CPR courteous? Yes. Prompt? Yes. Did they resolve my issue? Yes. Bottom line, would I return for future services? Yes.

I had some issues with my IPhone X today and Gerard and Shawn spent a lot of time with me and the charge was minimal. If you have a problem or need any assistance with mobile phones, IPads, Laptops, computer - This is the place to go. These guys are awesome.

I needed a quick repair. The part was in stock and the quote was fair. When I came to pick up my phone, the tech was able to fix the problem without using the part, so my bill was only 20% of the quote. To some up the experience, timely, professional, fair and honest.

I took my iPhone 8 to CPR to replace a cracked screen (~$110 plus tax). About a week after I got it back, the entire display stopped working. I took my phone back to CPR. They replaced the screen again, but informed me that the phone had extensive water damage, which they had neglected to mention after the first repair. After the second repair, the TouchID was non-functional and the phone could no longer be used to make calls. I had to buy a new phone. I asked CPR for a refund on the original $110 expense, as I had *zero* issues with the phone (aside from the purely cosmetic cracks on the screen) prior to taking it to CPR for repair. The owner politely but firmly refused to refund the repair cost, citing the water damage (which, again, had no impact on the operation of the phone before I took it to CPR). Now I am out $400 for a new phone, plus I paid CPR $110 for the privilege of breaking my old phone.

Great to work with, took care of my laptop faster than expected! Cost of repair was much better than what I was quoted elsewhere just for a diagnostic. Others wanted a nonrefundable diagnostic fee whether or not they were able to repair.

Went in after being recommended by a social media neighborhood group to have my iPad scree fixed. Routine turned into them breaking iPad more sending out to another vendor 9 days of waiting to arguing that they should charge full price for a job promised 4hrs from walking in the doo! The owner didn’t even have the decency to call me when I asked multiple times to be contacted. They provided a 16% discount in my opinion poor customer service. Take responsibility and do the right thing by unhappy customers. Will never return and will recommend others seek out a different vendor!

Free diagnostic on a dead macbook air saved us money. Used them previously for a iphone screen replacement and clean up. Very professional and fast turnaround. Much prefer a brick and mortar over the uncertainty of mailing off a device for repair.

Came in to get my phone repaired, said it would be 1.5 hours, showed up 2 hrs later and still wasnt done. said it would be another 1.5hrs, so i just made an appt for the following day first thing in the morning, came in the next day at scheduled time, and i was told that the employee could then not perform any of the repairs. Told me to come back another day, after they already had my money.Asked to speak to a manger and never received a call back. Do yourself a favor and go to Batteries plus, they actually care about your time.

Unfortunately I had two iPhone 6s that were immersed in salt water for at least 15 minutes. Once I got off the boat I headed directly to the store. It had been at least 60 minutes since I discovered the phones. Chris was working at the store and explained the entire recovery process and the cost. He said that it could take a few hours, or up to 24 hours. Four hours later the first iPhone was returned to me in working order. The battery and screen had to be replaced. The second iPhone required additional work, but was returned to me the next afternoon. It worked perfectly, but also required a new screen and battery.I was extremely pleased with the quality of the service and the pricing. I received a call to authorize the additional cost of the screens and batteries, and the work was completed on time. I would highly recommend CPR.ONE WARNING - IF YOU HAVE A iPHONE THAT HAS GOTTEN WET, DO NOT TURN IT ON, OR PLUG IT INTO THE CHARGER. Overpriced and huge delay for a cracked phone repair. I called many repair stores to see if my screen could be fixed. I know my screen would have to be ordered overseas. so i emailed and called cpr twice to check and confirm that they can fix it. what I was told would be 1 1/2 hours took 2 weeks!!! I went in to get it fixed and they told me after they took a part my phone, that the wrong screen was ordered. (how do you not check first?) the correct screen would take a few weeks to arrive. I wasnt able to get/use my phone. It took 3 days of calling just to get a replacement until mine could be fixed. paid wayyyy too much for this repair and still waiting to talk to management.

I’d give ZERO STARS if I could very rude and terrible people they scam you saying they’ll fix your phone & they don’t they’ll give it back with it in very worse poor condition or in non working conditions! Be aware please do not do business with these people!

Best cell phone repair Ive experienced hands down. I had several issues to fix with both Droid and iPhone on both AT&T and Verizon phones and all were handled quickly and professionally. Installed screen and same day a few hours later it cracked inside a LIFEPROOF case that was not dropped. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Girl dropped it while putting the case back on the phone and would not warranty the cracked screen that they caused!!! Another lady said we had to pay full price for a new screen because they don’t warranty physical damage. They caused it.

I had a minor emergency with my phone that I was sure would be a serious issue down the road, but I stopped in and Chris greeted me immediately and assured me that they would be able to take care of the situation and within a matter of minutes, my phone working like it was brand-new. Couldnt get phone repair

They did an excellent job repairing the busted screen & camera lens on my Note 4. Better still is that it was ready for pickup less than 24 hours after dropping it off. I wasnt expecting it until the middle of the following week!!!! I would definitely recommend them for any cell phone repairs.

These guys were great. They fixed my screen on my iPhone 6s in 30 minutes. I was in and out. They even put on my tempered glass screen shield for me. Their prices werent terrible and definitely competitively priced. Go see them, theyre the best!

Quick, friendly, helpful service. I was in a bind with no access to my business. Brad McClelland (VP of Sales) and Daniel Riley (Store Manager in Mt. Pleasant) met me at the store, before regular hours, and had my screen replaced and my phone up and running in 20 minutes. This is after Brad and the store manager in West Ashley stayed after hours to try to fix the phone the previous night. Highly recommend this company. Customer service is key and it is well implemented at CPR in Mt. Pleasant and West Ashley locations.
