Ive been a customer of Metro PCS for a few years off and on and I usually have good service at a low rate..they used to have a store in Mount Pleasant that was convenient and efficient. Since its closing ive been using the downtown Charleston store on Meeting street. Today they were supposed to be open until 6 o clock however when I showed up at 4 the door was locked. I didnt see anyone inside and I knocked for a few seconds with no response. Just disappointed they are letting customers wonder whats going on..cant go to their sister company T-Mobile either...they wont assist Metro customers. Not very professional. I expected more from this company.

This place you want to give a chance and at first the sales people seem helpful, but there all very shady and out for themselves. I mean its always cash only! Something is definitely up. Plus you can never trust there hours of operation.

O far I have been happy with MetroPCS, as the service is not any worse than the big 4, but the value is greater. The store on Savannah Highway in West Ashley has great service, but I do not live nearby.Today I visited the Meeting street store, and upon walking in, the two women working did not look up from their cell phone, and eventually said welcome to MetroPCS, but did not look up. I told them that I saw a promotion and that I would like to sign up for it. They told me I can call MetroPCS directly. I asked that since I was in the store, could they do it for me, as other stores have in the past for me. One lady puts her head in her arm and laughs, and then leaves it there until I leave eventually. I again asked if they could just call, since they work there, even though it is possible to call. They said no. I said that I wouldnt come back, which would probably make them happy, as I they do not want to help customers, and left.When I first was becoming a MetroPCS customer I came to the store about an hour before they closed, and the worker had the phones put away already. I asked if I could see a couple that I was interested in and she said no, they were already locked up, but I could look online. I told her I already knew the information about the phone, but wanted to actually see them. Not possible.I am not sure if the owner/manager knows about this, or maybe he is ok with it. It does not seem like this location wants repeat customers or wants to sell anything, and in that case, would be better off closing, as the location could house a more worthwhile business.

People wouldn’t even help at all and they said they were closed at 12 noon in the day time !! Even tho they were sitting down on there phone
The people working at this store are incompetent. I had to go in 3 separate times for an issue w my phone and they told me something different every time, acting like there was no way they could tell what was wrong w my phone. i finally went to another store in myrtle beach and the girl there told me what was wrong and got my phone working in about 15 min max.

Try your call later.4:10pm on a Wednesday.Are they out of business??I called today, 12:40pm Thursday 12/14 and spoke with, well, a moron.Summary, she said 8% tax on the $99 phone is $15.xx.I questioned her math, she reconfirmed her statement (8% tax on $99 is $15.xx)At which point I realized morons CAN be gainfully employed.

I cannot believe how this “manager” treats people. She accused me of over charging my sister! When her bill clearly states how much she should pay every month. She did this over the phone to me. This is “manager” is a waste of employment. I am the one who pays HER bill, if I am going to be charged because she turns her phone in i deserve to know how exactly that will be handled And I hope they send her off cause one can only imagine the person she is to other people. Oh and curiosity to my sister’s picture her name is Breanna.
