My husband really enjoys this place. Hookah offerings, humidor of cigar options, and more. Very laid back and kind staff. They have a small beer and wine selection as well. Like the majority of places downtown, theres no on-site parking.

Whenever I travel I try to find a cigar lounge to hang out in. This one is in downtown Charleston close to everything.It is a nice spot to grab a smoke. I unfortunately went at the wing time because it was empty except for the tobacconist. He was friendly enough but he liked busy with what ever tobacconists do when there are no customers. The humidor is a good size with a good selection of premium smokes. I also saw pipe tobacco and drinks. I say by the window and noticed quite a few nice sights walk by (if youre into that sort of thing).The prices were good especially compared to my home town. Home town lounge that if you are not careful you could miss it. Nice selection of cigars and lots of beverages to choose from. This location has been enjoyed by many and you can tell. They also have a outside area to smoke. See Levi and he will take care of you.

Kings leaf has a good selection, and knowledgeable staff. Relaxing atmosphere, only downside is well, parking.So go inside, grab a nice cigar sit back and watch one of the TVs. They have great chairs to sit in. You wont be disappointed.

Awesome place. Man running it dealt with a drunk, gave awesome recommendations for cigars, knew where everything in the humidor was, and told us a bottle was the same price as 2 glasses of wine saving us money. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Greeted by staff and locals enjoying the lounge when I walked in. Staff very friendly and helped with local dining options. Hope to have more time to enjoy the lounge next time. The large leather chairs looked inviting.

Visiting Charleston and found this place on google maps. Customer service was on point and crowd inside was friendly and enjoyable. Nothing like stick smokers and hookah lovers enjoying the same space.

This has been my cigar shop for 10 years.I smoke 3-5 cigars a week and buy everything here.Levi, the GM, is super knowledgeable about the products, is friendly, and sincerely makes you feel at home.You can always count on lively conversation and your favorite game on the many televisions.Grab a stick and kick and relax!

Great staff! The worker helped me pick out my first ever cigar and it was quite cheaper than expected! They also have a rooftop lounge where you can smoke and order drinks in a very relaxing environment

Relaxed location for a smoke, drink and a chat. Good collection of cigars and beers. Comfy seats and if the locals are not barely winning with scrabble, great to have a chat. Levi knows his cigars and gives sound advice.

Extensive inventory of cigars in separate large room/humidor and also a few selections of beers and wine by the glass. Lots of leather chairs and sofas to relax and recline while enjoying a Cohiba.

Great place to relax and have a smoke, or look for some hard to find smokes. I was able to score 2 Fuente Opus X 20th anniversary editions, which I haven’t found in dozens of other shops. They also has some Hemmingway series in maduro wrappers, which I haven’t seen before. I wanted to hang out and smoke, but my wife couldn’t handle being inside so I had to wait until the evening. Very cool place to hang out, lots of great cigar décor, and very knowledgeable staff.

On second thought, I think I may have been influenced by my local shops abnormally large selection, and it was an unfair comparison. Kings Leaf has all of the classics. This has honestly become my go to spot since Ive moved to Charleston almost 3 years ago. Amazing quality cigars and hookah with an outstanding beer and wine selection. Its such a positive environment to either relax or socialize with the plethora of great return customers. I recommend this place highly to all my friends and strangers looking for a nice spot to grab a smoke.

I used to live in North Charleston, and while I did I always enjoyed dropping by with friends to smoke a cigar. Nick was always friendly, and I have no doubt that he still is.I remember when they first opened up the outdoor smoke lounge. It was fantastic! But something has changed since I lived here that seems to only affect me and my wife as we are both under 21. There is a cover charge to even be on the second floor. It’s $10, not a big one time charge but I am very glad that charge had not been around before while I was a regular, I would never have hung around! We were paying customers and were turned off by the charge and also by the rude manner in which it was presented to us.But, everything else was great! The first employee was very helpful and helped me to find cigars similar to those I was looking for.

Me and two my friends sat down and ordered $15 hookah and we gave the guy a $20 bill (So $5 tip immediately). He came and gave us the hookah and not only was it bad (I’ve had hookah all over USA & Europe and this was terrible), he also didn’t even smoke it for us first to make sure it was warmed up! After, my third friend came in and sat down with us. She was immediately harassed and the guy said she had to order something or leave. Unbelievable since we already gave this guy a $5 tip for doing nothing! Overall terrible experience and uncaring staff! Will be going to Charlestowne tobacco and wine next time!!!!

The man working on June 21 made me feel like an embakcike.and like and no money for cigars because I hit. 1ooo hebtrated me horrible Ill never go back!!!!

Stop by here while on vacation and was a little let down. The guy that helped me wasn’t super nice or helpful. Their humidor doesn’t have a huge selection and the lounge is rather small.

Ive been going to this store for years. Originally the Smoking Lamp, in 2015 it came under new ownership and became the Kings Leaf. With this new ownership I saw the shop I frequented grow into the shop I love. The cigar collection is incredible and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Whether youre a college kid looking for hookah, a cigar aficionado looking to sit and smoke a great cigar, or a pipe smoker looking to top up your tobacco pouch this store has it.The guys who run the store have a wealth of knowledge to share with anyone looking to get into this wonderful hobby. They will point you to exactly what youre looking for.All in all this store is for any one and everyone who enjoys smoking and making new friends.

Very helpful staff. They were out of some selection but offered some good alternative cigars. The location was on the main strip of Kings Rd. At the end of all happen spots. The crowd was a little light at 1030.

Good selection and reasonably priced for downtown Charleston. Beer on tap as well as wine. Cozy atmosphere. Definitely will come back.

Will never go back again. The staff are rude and they only take care of their regular. If you are an unfamiliar face forget it. You will be waiting for ages to be served on.

GM didnt seem too happy to have are group of 9 cigar smokers in the shop. Had to wait the 3 times we visited to get the smoke eater turned on. Place was way too smokey. Never once were we asked by staff how are you doing everything ok? Selection was decent but many shelves were half empty. Only big shop in town so if you need a stick you will probably find your way there.

For a smoking lounge the most important thing is to have a good ventilation system. Otherwise the smoke just overwhelms the place and ends up just smelling like stale smoke. No real cigar aficionado would smoke in this place because it would be impossible to enjoy the flavors of your cigar because of the stale stench.

Went in to get shisha, because according to their website they carried bigger boxes than most other stores. Drove 30 minutes to get there only to find out they dont sell shisha. Really wish their website didnt say they did, wouldnt of wasted the time or gas to get there.
