Went to a career fair here 3 weeks ago. Not well sign posted as I had to give directions to several people going to same thing. Not suitable for disabled folk and I didnt see any signs for their access.Once I climbed the stairs to entrance once in I had other stairs to climb to first floor of venue.Hand sanitiser at door and very little folk wearing masks and no social distancing whatsoever..Poor show from organisers
Great experience. However, crowd control an issue to enter. When its a Scotland match stewards stop Spectators from going up stairs to section P south stand and make it down only. Yet when other matches are played the crowd control plan allows stairway to be used 2-way???
Went to the Scotland v Israel match with my daughter and the atmosphere was brilliant. As we stay round the corner from Hampden Park theres always a buzz of excitement on match day. Ive lived here for twenty odd years and have enjoyed most of the live music where we have been able to sit out in the garden sometimes with our neighbours when the weather has been good. The other good thing was after the match was over we were home in about five minutes.
The national stadium has its critics but a full Hampden at an international cannot be beaten. Plenty of catering units within pricey catering but not unusual for such venues. Car parking is restricted on match days but there is unrestricted on street parking surrounding the stadium in most directions, within a 10 minute walk.
A fantastic atmosphere at a Scotland game (for a change). Good facilities, certainly better than most Scottish football grounds.
Busy getting in but brilliant atmosphere inside. Great to have a full house at Scotland games
Great to go back after 5 years to see Scotland. Food hasnt changed. I couldnt nor wouldnt recommend anything disappointing. Outside there were two burger vans. Better food but a bit expensive. Probably due the the rates they pay to get in there to sell there wares. Took my Grandson to his first Scotland game. So booked seats at the top for my mobility problems and so my grandson wouldnt be as stressed getting to a seat and getting out at the end. But 3 adults stood right behind us and there language was not suitable for my grandsons ears. A bit more thought when around women and children.
Nice place to visit to.get some nice photos
Attended a well organized MRCS part B exam..!! An arrow outside pointing towards the main entrance wouldve been nice though..π
Great to be back, easy to scan mobile ticket on entry, and wonderful to enjoy some snacks and drinks again. Contactless purchases only. Brilliant atmosphere from the tartan army as always.
Great set up. loved disco lights keep it up bring a good atmosphere to the place
The people make the Hampden experience. The stadium is fine, but front seats are too low to see what is going on at the far end. A good win for Scotland though.
Great to watch the women football team
Had the pleasure of volunteering at the venue during UEFA EURO 2020. Staff were wonderful, and the experience fantastic! A great ground
At my first Scotland game for a couple of years and my daughters first ever. Brilliant as always, helped by a win.
Brilliant atmosphere when full and even more so when Scotland win.π
Great stadium. Really need to sort out the public traveling after the game though. Cant expect everyone to walk 3miles to town after match. Trains a nightmare.
Just visiting Glasgow for a few days, I walked down to the stadium this morning to have a look around and went in to enquire if the stadium tour would be on tomorrow (I had seen on the website that it was available Thursdays to Saturdays). Unfortunately it wont be on tomorrow- due I think to the upcoming womens International fixture- so, there you go, I fly home on Thursday evening so my tour of Hampden Park will have to wait till my next visit!
I can see there being issues if you sit in certain areas, or travel by certain modes of transport, but Ive never had an issue at Hampden.Done hospitality for the first time against Moldova and every single aspect was spot on.
The Home of Scotland and Queens Park(The oldest team in Scotland) the ground has been redeveloped and transformed in recent years into a smart all seater stadium with a capacity of just over 51,000 three sides of the ground are single-tiered apart apart from the impressive Southstand which has another tier to it the ground is totally enclosed.Queens Park will move to their reserver and training ground adjacent to the Main stadium The Lesser Hampden in January 2021.
Yes sir I can boogie... great night for Scottish football.
First visit. Very nice stadium. Watched Croatia v Czech Republic, good game. Well handled by the post apocalypse staff as well
Full House watch Scotland, what can be better.
Best atmosphere ever especially when we beat Israel 3-2 brill
Build a proper modern stadium. Ffs a running track still.
Great atmosphere back at my first game in ages because of fan restrictionsπ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ
Amazing. Has to be the best Scottish stadium.
Brilliant place to watch the Scotland game good results on Saturday
Hampden is a lovely stadium with brilliant fans and an electric atmosphere for the really big occasions. Was there during covid affected Euro 2020 match and the atmosphere was lacking. Stadium itself is a little dated nowadays. Easy to walk up and decent amenities in area of Mount Pleasant but public transport and surrounding roads very busy before and after kick off.
Watched Scotland and Czech Republic. Fantastic old stadium. No food or drink inside due to Scotlands covid-19 restrictions. Mask wearing not adhered to inside and not enforced.
Great atmosphere, need to sort out the transport links
Great atmosphere from the best fans in the world mon the scotland
Fantastic atmosphere on match days.
The e-ticket entry system is excellent and very quick and easy to use.Pity the football wasnt quite as good!!
Great venue for events. Also has a full size football pitch!
Great experience for me and my boys first time.Kiosk overpriced and food not good
Great place to watch Scotland score 1 goal.
As always great atmosphere at the Scotland games
Me and my boyfriend went for the stadium + museum tours. Our guide was lovely (Hi Bruce!), he didnβt have a thick accent which made it easy to understand him. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and thought that it was a great stadium.Womanβs toilets had a little surprise as well β they were offering sanitarium towels, letting woman know that it is okay to take some if they need it rather than make us pay for them.
The Hampden Sports Clinic is easily found but currently there is a great deal of security as games are on. The therapists seem extremely knowledge and kind.
Fantastic, what an atmosphere, cmon Scotland
Great atmosphere when the tartan army are there
Security staff are very polite, to me anyway. Would recommend it.
Very poor corporate hospitality. Food indifferent and tiny portions.
As usual Hampden was great.
As UEFA volunteer felt blessed to experience the build up and see Hampden at its finest and in the sunshine.
You are a great distance from the pitch when behind the goals and makes the experience of watching a match from there poor.
Great atmosphere. Price for sweets are expensive
The Hampden roar returned. Yes sir, we boogied
Had a brilliant experience at the venue for the Pink concert. We had an excellent view of the stage from block O2 row MM & comfortable seats.Take cash if youre wanting food/drink as very few places take card. There were massive queues for the ladies toilets so many of the mens toilets were taken over by females but no complaints on cleanliness. We got the train from Glasgow Central to Mount Florida to get to the stadium. We walked back to the centre of Glasgow after the concert (due to the long queue for the train) which took about 50 minutes & would certainly recommend doing this.
Nowhere like it for us Scotland fans when the team are winning and the fans are rocking
Superb when Scotland win!
Home of the braveSCOTLAND THE BRAVE
Great stadium brilliant match.
Excellent professional service. Clean environment and very friendly atmosphere.
Good when full but most of the stadium is too far from the park
If you like football kys
Great atmosphere excellent job with social distanced seating felt safe
When ever I am at hampden Park I really feel at home an awesome place to be
Great atmosphere in the stadium.
Great stadium for a show but thats where the good points end parking poor we parked at a college campus when we came out after the show we were directed away from our parking as the roads were closed when we finally found our car it took nearly 2 hours to get out of the car park worst road system ever took the good out of the concert. people getting trains and buses were the same directed all over the place. when ur not from the city its hard to know where to go when ur route is changed
Excellent sports medicine clinic
This is a review based on a concert experience (Pink on June 22, 2019): we were there early to pick up the tickets. It took a long while for the food stall that had some vegetarian food to get ready, but it was good food for an affordable price. Based on the high amount of security going in during the afternoon we assumed the organisation was topnotch, but that turned out to be pretty disappointing. Instructions on where to go were confusing as well. The staff did not seem very well informed, but they were friendly and as helpful as they could be.Let us just say that the two stars are based on the great sound and the incredibly large platforms for people with a disability, also a little bit for the friendly, though not very well organised event staff. My girlfriend in a wheelchair could not go the toilet outside the stadium, and inside there was a grand total of two accessible toilets at the platforms...portable toilet houses to be exact, one of which didnt flush (the one at our platform, of course). So we had to go to the other side first. Let me tell you that a portable accessible toilet is no picnic for an electric wheelchair user. Afterwards we even got word of verbal and physical abuse of a wheelchair user at the same toilet from someone who didnt want to go all the way to the back of the stadium to the many, many toilets available to everyone else, and didnt have to patience to wait for said wheelchair user. Where was security if not on the platform right next to where that happened? An absolute scandal! Back on the platform we had a great view of a great concert, but the constant back and forth of security in front of us got frustrating very fast.Getting public transport back to the city centre was an absolute nightmare after the concert. Traffic was completely jammed, the extra buses couldnt take wheelchair users and the regular buses showed up almost two hours late completely packed, annuling the priority seating for a wheelchair user. After that there was at least an opportunity to get a taxi there with traffic getting back to normal, which still took a long time with many people still stranded there. Were sorry to say we are not inclined to go to a concert again with this kind of poor showing of an event organisation.Dennis & Pauline
Easy to get around it. Good stadium.
Had great night entertaining Keith and his guests at his Birthday Party,Keith is a serious Scotland fan and had no idea his wife Sian had arranged this party with family and friends,He was brought into the Millennium Suite blindfolded so you can imagine his reaction when he saw the pitch and his family and friends gave him a big Hampden Roar,Besides all the floorfillers and Scottish football songs we had some adult interaction which made a great night truly fantastic,Great load in and very helpful and polite staff makes Hampden a pleasure to play.JimSounds Fantastic Disco Hire
Not bad, facilities, only toilets, and not much else
I have enjoyed many excellent, exciting games of football here and although it definitely needs a coat of paint it remains part of the rich history of Scottish football. Supporters tend to forget history in Scottish football, for instance the Championship clubs here play for the more historic league trophy dating to 1892 whilst the Premier league clubs play for a modern less auspicious trophy. The SFA are discussing the future of Hampden muting the possibility of moving to Murrayfield, I say lets not forget our history and the part this world famous stadium and indeed Queens Park have played in that.
Nice stadium for various events
Great atmosphere.
Beautiful stadium with enough space and convenience.
