While shopping in the city market we came across this store. Little did we know we would be able to find my sisters bridal set for her wedding. It was a treat for sure but with their customer service and beautiful jewelry, we couldn’t resist! These pieces will now become heirlooms and we are thrilled.

Stopped in while visiting and bought the sweet grass pendent and rice link necklace which I love.price was great .staff was awesome. I will go back when in the area.highly recommend this honest and beautiful selection jewelry shop

UPDATED: Previous post was in concern for my experience at Gold Creations. Since that post the owner has made personal contact to share the history and philosophy of their business. I truly feel this family owned business cares for every customer. If he can take the time to apologize and get to know me, I appreciate the care given to their products aa well. I HAD to increase my rating and will be a FOREVER customer after his kindness and time.Great jewelry and knowledgeable sales associate. Slightly disappointed in the level of service given to myself versus the Caucasian friend I was with!! She was given all brand new pieces from behind the counter, boxes and information. I was given no box and sold the pieces from directly off the counter... Im never one to ever see bias or point fingers but we were together and read treated VERY differently. We returned here before ending our trip to buy because our first stop in the sales associate was super friendly and we wanted to go back to purchase and take home a piece of Charleston. Unfortunately not all employees are trained to be friendly, fair or considerate to their customers.

I had went on vacation and visited this store. I had purchased a necklace. Unfortunately it broke after purchasing it. Patrick the owner reached out and let me exchange my necklace. I am very thankful that he was so kind. This business really cares abput excellent customer service. I would highly reccomend this business. They care about their customers. I am very pleased with my exchange.

I saw an advertisement for Gold Creations in the Official Visitors Guide for Charleston and tore the page out hoping to find the store to purchase a gate charm. They are in the city market in an air conditioned inside shop (little harder to find as the stores are facing outward right now) - but they are one of the only jewelers with gold pieces. Patrick was so helpful and informative about their jewelry, Charleston history and sightseeing. My mom and I each purchased a (different) gate charm. Such a nice keepsake - we love them! They carry many other lovely jewelry items as well. Walking throughout Charleston, the assortment of beautiful gates now caught my attention. Would highly recommend!

Great experience with this store ! I traveled from Philly to Charleston a few years ago and bought a Charleston gate necklace for myself. I had to help my brother find a gift for his girlfriend so I suggested getting her a gate necklace. I emailed the store and Katherine was so helpful! She sent me multiple pictures of the different sizes and chain options. When I finally called to place my order I spoke with Bethany who was just as helpful and so pleasant. I would recommend them to anyone and their jewelry is so unique and beautiful!

The kindness, quality, and knowledge of the staff at Gold Creations is unbeatable. You will feel like a family member after 5 minutes in their shop. It is a stop I look forward to every year when I am in Charleston. I treat myself to a new piece of jewelry every time I visit. So many friends have received gifts from this shop also. DO NOT miss Gold Creations in the Marketplace. The rice beads are so incredible and so is the story behind them. You will definitely find something you LOVE there.

We love this shop! The staff is amazing- whenever you stop in and whether you’re browsing or buying. I have a rather large collection of the Rice Beads and get non stop compliments on them. I loved them so much I went and bought my mom a collection too. We’ve been back multiple time since we are locals and they are always my first choice for new jewelry.

My favorite Charleston City Market experience! I have purchased Rice Bead necklaces, Gates of Charleston pendants, and a few other pieces and could not reccomend Gold Creations enough. Stop in, say hello (everyone is very friendly and professional), and lose yourself in their original and locally designed treasures.
