HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE at south Blvd! Not willing to help In his tone of voice then call customer service 1-800 number and they are lost as a bat also but I’ll see where they end of with helping me find my order! If you wanna get great customer service, your best bet is to call the smiths corner. They know what they are taking about and the customer service is awesome! No issues at that location! Also they don’t deliver at south Blvd you have to find your own! Like that’s crazy to me, and the guy seemed uninterested in helping me.

Prices couldnt be beat. Washer, dryer, fridge, queen memory foam mattress and box springs, and twin mattress and box springs for under $3500.Delivery was prompt. Delivery guys were friendly and efficient.Store clerks were the only reason this is a 4 star and not a 5. She was pretty indifferent to helping us, despite the fact that we were spending over $3k.
Positive experience. I had a problem with a refrigerator I bought on Tuesday. The light didnt work. Changing the bulb did not fix it. Spoke to Joanne. She offered to swap out the fridge no problem. Very helpful! Josh unloaded my original fridge and loaded up my new one. All is good.

This used to be my go to for appliances but now Im not so sure. I trusted Sears but now have distrust for American Freight.1. For 2 weeks, each weekId call the day before to confirm delivery and was told it was push back 1 more week due to accident issues. After getting pushed back to almost a month and the low confidence that they would be able to deliver, I hired a 3rd party AF recommended who was more expensive for delivery & install.2. I showed the picture of my space and outlets to the salesman when I purchased a washer dryer several weeks ago. The 3rd party notified me that the plug was incorrect for my outlet. When I contacted AF they wanted me to have this 3rd party uninstall the washer and dryer and bring it back to the store and incur more charges!TL;DR dont deliver when scheduled and dont make note of the plug for your outlets. Their deals are costly!
We were disappointed in the prices, l cannot say we found anything much more than 10% lower than competitors. It look like most of the appliances were demo models or returned, definitely scratch and dent.Im not sure how they consider an appliance refurbished - check a box, call it good.The only 60% I seen - was off their overpriced website.Definitely not worth the hour-and-a-half round trip drive.

David was especially helpful--he stacked the back of my car like a pro and everything made it safely to the house without incident. This is him below. We bought a refrigerator a month ago. The salesperson was not helpful at all. He did not disclose this was a refurbished refrigerator. That in and of itself was not a problem. They would not deliver to SC. Just over border. We get it home set it up and the ice maker did not work right. It only made ice twice. Then after 2 weeks it started to make weird odd noises. We called and they told us to bring it back. We did and exchanged it for another at a slightly higher cost. Again we transported it home. Im lucky enough to have a son that could help my husband bring it in and out repeatedly. We waited the requisite 24 hours and low and behold, it does not work. We had to bring it back again. We gave up got a refund and went to Home Depot.

Thought it might have now than it had, but there seemed to be a surplus of dryers, as opposed to an equal mix. That being said, the staff seemed nice, and the prices were decent, with the exception of delivery and the warranties. You could definitely save some money here, on the actual item, itself, but it will probably be balanced out, in other areas.
The website claims this store delivers to South Carolina. My husband and I drove two hours to purchase a refrigerator, only to be told they are not currently delivering to SC. We ended up at Lowes, where we found the exact same refrigerator as the one from this store that we wanted, for $150 cheaper. Plus, they delivered for free. Im very upset we wasted so much time on this store because the website lied.
Lots to choose from in different stages of scratch and dent. Cosmetically there are some issues, but as for performance they are good to go. The price savings is even better.
I have always had great service at this store. I went in the other day and asked for a no frills washer dryer set that will stand the test of time and be simple to fix. I was quickly directed to a great economical dryer and the employee didnt try to make unnecessary up-sells. I felt like my needs were respected. I would be happy to buy here again.

Great place to find good deals. Got my last washer and dryer from here. Still working fine 2 years later. Today got a great deal on a refrigerator. A shout out to Marcus for all his assistance. He answered all my questions and even took measurements to assure the appliance will fit where I need it to go.
Good place if you need single appliance but most likely wont find matching set, this is a lot of returned items and scratch and dent items. Pricing is good considering the type of items you are buying
Never shopping here again! Fridge I bought never got cold enough in the freezer. Ok I returned it. They scheduled it for pick up. No one showed up that day. Called in the next morning. They said theyd look into and call me back. No call. I had to call back and check up on it. They told me it would be another week before they could get someone to come and pick it up. Unacceptable. Plus I bought some solar patio lights that didnt work. Have to return those now too. I wont be back as customer again.
Excellent sales people, very informed. They also have a large selection of top load washers which is exactly what I was looking for. They knew their stuff and got me out the door, I was extremely pleased.

Drove from Durham to pickup a dishwasher ordered online. Got there to find the dishwasher was not new in box as listed on the site but used. After speaking with the manager briefly he apologized and quickly exchanged it a similar model that was new in box. The issue was handled swiftly and in a professional manner that showed they valued my business. Customer service was great and so was the deal I got. FIVE STARS!
My first visit was not positive went to setup a lease and all money was removed from my account. The store manager was very unprofessional and could not have cared one way or the other but Dennis the assistant manager went above and beyond to make sure I was a content customer. Dennis made this visit to Sears worthwhile. Thank you Dennis and Andre( sales associate)for your excellent customer service you two could teach your store manager that its about satisfying your customer not the paycheck
Steve is definitely a great salesman and very helpful with information to make a selection! Sometimes long waits for assistance if a lot of customers in store. Was inconvenienced when my delivery wasn’t completed, merchandise ordered not delivered. The store took care of the issue, ordered missing items and had delivered separately. I won’t mention bug in box when delivered... gives me nightmares thinking about it, but I’m told by delivery guy it’s normal for bugs to be in hot warehouses. A first for me and hopefully last. Overall decent experience, nothing to keep me from returning. I’d shop here again.

To make a long story short; we had to exchange a dryer that wasnt functioning properly. The situation was handled with excellent care and customer service by Shauna. She went well above and beyond (even remembering my name from weeks prior) to help me any and every way she could. She made something that could have been stressful the absolute most pleasant experience ever. FIVE STARS all go to Miss Shauna!!! Will shop here again for sure.

I ordered a combination wall oven on-line 2 weeks ago, and I cant get any information on it. It said it was in stock so I assumed it was ready for pick-up. When I went to pick it up, they said it hadnt been delivered from their warehouse yet (only 1x per week, Wednesdays). Ive tried several times to get an update on the delivery from the warehouse to the store with no luck. The phone # is out of service and their call center is in the Philippines and doesnt have any information either. Would be nice to either get my unit or get my money back :(

I was looking for a stainless steel refrigerator at a good price. I found it here and sears members even get a discount. Refrigerator had smalls dents, but as long as it works, thats not a problem for me.

I asked about the deals listed online, and he said he didnt design the website, so he dont know whats listed.....we just walked out with another upset customer who was complaining about his lack of concern....I think its time for old buddy to retire!

Purshashed a refurbished washer last week took it home and hooked up and it doesn’t work at all🤬. I’ve tried calling 3 different outlets to speak with someone and I haven’t been to reach anyone. The phones just ring and ring and I have tried letting it ring at least 3 minutes and still at each store no one answers the “customer service “ line. I will update if I ever get any results - btw I also emailed customer service and still no reply

Shopping for an over the range microwave... Going to this store was one of the worst experiences for me. The sales person was extremely unprofessional. After my husband waited for him to finish with someone else he walked over to finally assist us to then (while talking with us) was interrupted by another customer and walked away to help him!!! YES! While working with us. THERE WAS NO SORRY SIR I WILL BE RIGHT WITH YOU. We were ready to make the purchase by he walked away. In the mean time, while waiting for the salesperson to come back some woman came and pulled the tag from the one we wanted! Yes, so when we finally got the attention of our sales guy we told him that we wanted it but a lady took the tag. After searching the store, we found the lady working with who we believe is the manager. She says I pulled the tag and that is the one I am purchasing! I said we were standing here first and first come kinda first serve!?!?! We thought! How wrong we were. So manager says well geez I dont know what to do here. Really! That was his response! No I am sorry this has happened what can we do to fix this. After an awkward silence!!! Our sales person says to the manager can we take 10% off another one? Seriously! We were looking at a convection microwave and the were offering 10% off of something that wasnt anything like what we wanted. I was so dumb-founded by the whole situation that I told them I would rather give my business to someone else and pay full price. Honestly I walked into this store at least a 1/2 dozen times and every other time they were very expensive for an outlet store. This was the 1st time they had something at a reasonable price to then have unprofessional people working there. And yes I called corporate too.
Ordered a dryer online and the website implied the dryer was in stock at this location. I got the order confirmation and drove 45 min to go pick it up. When I got to the store, they said it wasnt in stock. It took me 2 days of email and phone calls with Sear Outlet customer service to get a refund for the dryer I wasnt actually able to pick up. Horrible process and very misleading website.
May buy from them as price is right but sales person made the most minimum contact and did not offer product info. Only explained how to read the sales tag discounts and disappeared.

They accepted our order (and money) online for a washing machine. Later that evening we received an email stating that they did not know if they had the machine at our local store as promised as it was too hard for them to manage their inventory (?!). The next day we were notified that the machine was out of stock. We have been trying to get our money back, to no avail. They have answered the phone once out of 11 calls. We were finally told it would be ten business days, with no further explanation or apology. We emailed them 5 days ago, no reply or acknowledgement It has now been 14 business days with no returned money and no one answering the phone (5 tries so far today). I gave them 1 star because 0 was not an option.
Ordered a washer online. Took the money off my card. Waited two days to find out it was not available anymore and it’s going to be a few business days before the money is back. Scam of a place and will not be doing business with them ever again.
Was going to buy washing machine & they wanted $89 for delivery. Thats ridiculous. I work for Mattress Firm and we dont charge that much for complete sleep systems.

The store opens at 10am, I call at 10:30am, and the phone just rings! So long that it just hangs up (or did someone pickup and hang up on me). I call back, same problem. No voice mail or anything. I guess you dont want my business.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Whoever is working tonight, needs to be fired. Their unwillingness to check on an item in the store by looking up the item number as well as not giving me their real name. Man with a foreign accent is not Mr. Smith. Then! Has the nerve to not let me speak to any other person there and then says hes the only one there and that hes the body guard? Seriously? Whoever has him in charge of the store has money being forfeited left and right Im sure by the way this man treats potential customers. Ive never dealt with someone so rude who is suppose to be in a customer service position. Im still shocked at the way this man spoke to me.

My Fiancee and I recently bought a new washer and dryer set from the Sears outlet location off of South Blvd. in Charlotte NC. DO NOT SHOP HERE, THEY ARE TERRIBLE, not pleased with the sales team and the service they showed us. We arranged to have the units delivered and installed in our newly rented townhome. The installers came out on Tuesday, the 16th, the day after we received the keys, and installed the washer/dryer pair. We moved in that following Saturday, the 20th. It was around 12am when we decided to use the new machines for the first time. Roughly 30 minutes to an hour later we found water flooding into multiple rooms of the townhome. The water made its way out of the laundry room and main hallway, under an interior wall into the kitchen and underneath the cabinets, dishwasher, sink, as well as refrigerator. We acted as quickly as we knew to do, and were horrified to find the drain pipe had never been attached! The washer was still spewing dirty water continuously onto bare sheetrock, and the exposed section of the wall frame. We called the next morning, after they opened at 10am, with no answer.We waited awhile to call the installers listed on our receipt and were told they would call the store and that Sears would call us back. We call later after not getting a call. I insisted that I speak to the store manager. We were told he was busy and that he would call us back.Store Manager Trent finally called. He listened to the story, was very apologetic, and told us he was going to pass this up and that Sears was totally at fault for this. He asked if I would take photos and email it to him. Trent went on to say that because it was then Sunday, it was likely no one would call until the weeks start. He told us to call back by Wednesday if someone not come out to estimate the damages by then and that the issue would be in the customer service file.It is now Wednesday the 29th, nearly a full TEN DAYS after the washer flooded the home we just moved into. Trent continues to say that there is nothing else he can do if the owner has not contacted us. Yet will only give us the name Vadim.I met with Trent in person on Friday and he even had the gall to tell me that Sears Outlet isnt even a part of Sears when I explained I would never buy from a Sears again! Seriously? You want to patronize us further?Meanwhile, we have been without the new washer that we paid $1,200 for. We had to dry the dirty garments in a new dryer so that we could continue to soak up water. We have had to take our clothes and towels to a laundromat just so we could have clothes to wear to our full time jobs. As of this morning there is still moisture in the carpets even with the fans running non-stop and we still cannot do laundry. Even the common areas cannot be fully unpacked because the carpets are still drying. The home is now musty, and a week out we have had no indication this issue will be resolved.We are worried for our health, safety, hygiene, and our own belongings being compromised. We are extremely upset with this experience and highly dissatisfied with the non-urgent attitude in regards to this matter.

Save yourself a ton of trouble and stay away from this store. About two weeks ago, fiancé and I purchased a washer and dryer from this store totaling around $1200 dollars including delivery and installation fee. Everyone at the store was very friendly and helpful. The problem began after the unit was installed on August 16th.We had the unit installed by two store professionals in our new rented townhouse on Tuesday August 16th, and returned to the townhouse for move-in on Saturday the 20th. The first time we went to run the machine, we noticed water FLOODING into our kitchen...which backs up to the laundry room. It seems that the men who installed the washer failed to appropriately attach the drainage pipe, which lead to dirty laundry water flooding the entire laundry room and seeping through the wall under the cabinets in the kitchen. It had also soaked into the adjacent living room carpet. We immediately called both Sears and our rental company. Despite numerous calls to men both calling themselves managers of the store (turns out Dennis is an assistant manager and Trent is the store manager), and despite an installation guarantee listed on our receipt, nobody at this store seems willing to help us. Both managers indicate that the store owner will be in charge of fixing this problem... But the man is nowhere to be found. Were told that his first name is Vadim, and thats all we can know.It has now been nine days since our brand new rental was turned upside down. Weve received one call from Sears (today, finally) and nobody has come to look at the property. I guess the owner wanted to come look today... Which seems a little sketchy. Generally a non-biased contractor or restoration expert would come to look at the damage. Long story short, we are now getting our insurance company involved as it would seem that nobody at this company seems to understand the urgency of sitting dirty water over a period of time.I will never shop at Sears again, and will not touch a Sears outlet (which is somehow immune to Sears customer service standards) with a ten foot pole.
