ALL THE STARS!!Couldn’t have had a better experience!! Everything from the options of the candles, scents, and wine was above our expectations! I cannot recommend Waxhaw candle company enough for everything from date night, girls night out, family activities, and even bachelorette parties! 10 STARS IN MY BOOK!The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us even though I messed up our scheduling. Talk about a wonderful team of staff! I feel lucky!

Friend of my daughter (and former employee) recommended that I check this candle store out. They have nice selection of soy candles, some with hemp wick and some with wood wick (my favorite). The candles are not cheap, true, but they last a long time and I can actually breathe when I am burning them. I am done buying candles from Bath and Body since once they are lit, I cannot breathe around them and headache will follow. And I am not smell sensitive like one of the previous reviewers here, I use perfumes regularly, but there are lots of bad ingredients in Bath and Body and Yankee candles. Waxhaw candles are different! I do not have a headache and can actually inhale when the candle is burning. My family usually have a candle burning while watching a movie or playing a board game. I purchased the Chocolate candle with a wood wick, the scent is just like chocolate! The sales girl was very nice too, she let us browse when we wanted to spend our time, but once we had questions, she was very helpful. Once my chocolate scented candle burns, I will make another visit to Waxhah Candle

I visited the Charlotte store this morning and Rylin was so helpful in helping me pick out a birthday gift.

Amazing!!! The owner is extremely knowledgeable about essential oils, herbs, salts, sugars, and more. He really educated us on how the different blends can work and create a mixture of what you are looking for. My friend and I created the salt scrubs (which I just used last night and it was out of this world!) and just had so much fun as we blended our own unique blends to help with our specific needs. Mine was geared more towards moisture and calming lavender scents while my friend focused on a variety of scents to create a fall experience with a variety of benefits for her skin. The size of the container you leave with is fantastic and the pricing is in my opinion very reasonable. We will definitely be coming back to create more. I live in Fort Mill, SC and stumbled upon this gem while in the area visiting a friend and fell in love with it! They did a candle class last night for me and my 7 girlfriends and we had the best time. The staff is AMAZING, knowledgeable, patient and focus on you having the best experience possible. We are already planning our next visit for the scrub class!

These are the only candles I can burn that don’t give me a headache! Yankee candles and literally dozens of others give me a headache so I gave up on candles, until I tried one from this cute store. They smell amazing, last a long time, and they don’t trigger migraines for me. I’m sensitive to smells, I can’t even wear perfume.Yes they are more expensive, but I will gladly pay it vs a cheap candle at HomeGoods that will release toxins in my home.

Happened upon this quaint store walking around after breakfast. My daughter and her friends enjoyed the apothecary face masks they made. Will definitely return!

I was startled when an unmasked employee approached myself and my husband and started talking to us! Needless to say we had to get out of there before we even got to smell a candle...

I visited this story the other day, looking for a gift for my roommate and best friend of 16 years. Let me just say, these candles are GROSSLY overpriced. The sales people are utterly pushy to the point of uncomfortable. I can go a yankee candle and get the same candle with a better experience. Save your money go to walmart to get your soy candles.

I really wanted to love this place as I love to support small businesses and absolutely love candles and the wax melts. My boyfriend and I went inside the business. We’re not greeted and given nasty looks throughout the whole time we were in the store. The cashier was not welcoming and put off a really nasty attitude. I’m sure the products here are amazing however I will not be returning and I’ll be sure to let all of my friends and family know.

I intend to support local companies as much as possible. This place is great and my go to spot for all my presents to friends and coworkers and family. Handmade with care and love.Their bath bombs are GREAT and such a good value!When you go, ask about their soap and bath bomb yearly membership because you get a discount throughout the year that really adds up.

I learned about this shop because we visited the Waxhaw location (amazing time). The staff was amazing, and they had more candles scent than Waxhaw. I LOVE THIS SHOP

I’ve been shopping at Waxhaw Candle Company for years now. I suffered from headaches whenever I would use products from big box companies. This made me believed I couldn’t use scented products, but Waxhaw Candy Company has introduced me to natural products that don’t have gross chemicals that caused my migraines. I love there products and there employees are always so friendly and informative! I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Of course, the store is fantastic. The ambience and the product selection is great.
