I love the customer service at South Charlotte Hyundai. Everyone is really pleasant. I would give 5 stars for that alone. However i have to give 3 stars for the wait. There were so many people waiting to get their car serviced in the customer service waiting area I had to stand outside because it was so full. I was offered a chair. I would have like to stay and wait for my car but the wait was 90 minutes. I decided to call for a ride as they do not have loner cars.
Manager Fred went over and beyond to make my experience so memorable. Took care of ALL my needs.Salesmen Blake and Anthony THE BEST!!!!!Can I say the young man Blake came to my house to handle business. He’s a winner in my book.Let me not forget the finance guy Jamar. I had my 2015 Hyundai Sonata towed in on Monday 10/25. My car was misfiring and stalling. The motor was replaced in 2019 at 45,000 miles. Took two months for a replacement! Recall on the knock sensor update was done 6 months later. Alicia with Hyundai South Charlotte never would give me an update on my car. Every day, Im having to call. Im nervous, thats my only means of transportation. I never could get her to call me. She informed me initially, that, it needed a $95 diagnostic ran. It could be a sensor or motor again. The 3rd day, I left a message for the manager Ron to call me. I never heard back. After 4 days of waiting and nothing done, I had it towed to my local mechanic. I would not recommend this location. Poor communication and customer service!!!
Very smooth and fast service provided by Crystal. There’s also new tech report that they send after doing quick run check that provides summary of additional service to be included along with reason behind those add on services so you can simply choose which to opt for just by going online - I thought this was pretty user friendly feature by Hyundai Services. Overall Good Service!!
Crystal was a great help. Knowledgable, helpful & courteous. I appreciate the fast efficient service of the shop folks also.One thing i must mention. I came in for 49,000 mile service and that was all i was charged for. You didnt try to up-sell me by adding a bunch of other parts and fixes like many shops do. This means a lot to an 84 year old guy who always expects to get hosed when all i want is service. Researched many SUVS and kept coming back to the Santa Fe Hybrid. My wife and decided to at least make an appointment to see one and take it for a test drive. Our sales person Daniel went over the entire SUV and explained all the safety features the Santa Fe had. We were not expecting to buy one only get information but the great customer service experience and the trade in value on our current SUV was the difference maker for us. South Charlotte Hyundai even followed up after purchase to see if we needed anything else. This is by far the best car buying experience we have had. If you are looking for a new car or SUV definitely recommend South Charlotte Hyundai.

We went to South Charlotte of Hyundai to look at the Palisade and to see if we can get out of our lease early! We went to many other dealerships and nobody wanted to work with us, well South Charlotte of Hyundai did and Sarah are sales girl was amazing to work with! She was very informative of the Palisade answered all our questions and most of all she was not pressuring us into doing anything! ( We love the Palisade so much we decide to buy it) She was wonderful she even brought the Palisade to our home the next day because the service department wasnt open Sundays! She even checked in with us the past few months to see how we are doing with the new ride! Customer services is hard to find now days and Sarah was beyond amazing! I would recommend Sarah and Hyundai of South Charlotte to anyone looking at buying a new vehicle!
I pulled up to South Charlotte Hyundai knowing what I wanted. I had already picked out my car and was prepared to haggle my way down to the payments I wanted. Anthony met me outside looking at my car. He introduced himself and the rest...is history. I told him what I was looking for, what I could afford, and how much I wanted my payments to be. Needless to say, I never had the opportunity to use my haggling skills because he never attempted to upsell me on something I couldnt afford. We went for a test drive and before I knew it, I was walking out of the door with a new car. I had to pick it up the next day and Anthony was very excited for me to get my new car. In addition, J, from Syracuse, was also extremely helpful when it came to financing my new vehicle. Again, I informed him of where Id like my payments to remain and he made magic happen. I have to say that I was so impressed with my entire experience. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to purchase a car.

My car had a recall on the engine. I took my car to Hyundai and Crystal K. was extremely helpful with making sure I was at ease knowing the process and provided updates throughout the process! Although it was a long process, I was satisfied in knowing that Crystal was making sure that all was taken care of in order for me to get back on the road.
Service department customer service is actually excellent!!The new vehicle showroom has only one vehicle on display and I did notice bogus charges on the vehicle window sticker. The showroom has very little to almost no-customer traffic. I was there for about a couple of hours.

I took my moms Hyundai Elantra in for a safety recall. Time estimate was 2 hours but it took closer to 1.5 hours. Crystal is great! I am very satisfied. --Eric

My car has been broken down for a month now and I took it to Hyundai south Charlotte thinking they could fix it they called once and said it was fine to pickup I got 4 miles down the road before the same thing happened again and they had to send a tow truck to get the car well they “fixed” it and called me back to get at least this time it made it several days before giving out again after getting reassurance from the maintenance department that everything was fixed and fine well it’s not and otw back to the shop on a tow truck. Now they can’t find a loner car or rental car after a month and several issues on their end. Not okay.
The selling department is PERFECT! Absolutely amazing !!! The service department doesn’t communicate well, my husband has been driving a hour to get a piece of his car fixed for the past month they’ve been giving him the run around. He called this morning and still gave him the run around so he finally went up and they said they’ve had the part in stock but nobody called. The man that was suppose to call said that he was not suppose to to be done. I’ll stick with the selling department any day but the service department has to do better. I am highly disappointed.
From the moment I walked onto the lot I knew I didn’t want to go any other place. I hadn’t purchased a car in 13 years so I had no idea what cars coated these days or what I wanted. The gentleman took very good care of me. Daniel made sure I got car faxes on all the used cars I was researching. The finance guy provided education on the vehicles and coverages that did not make you feel you were being forced into anything. Everyone was friendly and the experience was great. Did not get that at the other dealership. Crystal Kush was a great service advisor with it being my first visit there. I will definitely be back there for my next service.
After being in a rollover accident, I desperately needed a new vehicle. Specifically one in which I felt safe in and one my child would be safe in. So at the end of the day Ive been trying to work on my credit! As we all know thats not the easiest thing to do! However Ive been making all my payments on time for over 3 years I have three lines of credit that I just got 2 of so I could build my credit up. Honestly it was Gods grace to put South Charlotte Hyundai on my Google. I knew there was a huge chance it wasnt going to work for me and on top of that I knew that they were going to have to pull my credit which means theres another ding which means your scores going to go down more, God and I knew exactly what I needed though. Ive been renting a car its like $1,000 or more a month and I couldnt keep doing that nor did I want to. Also, I needed a decent payment that was going to be able to work with. I walked into South Charlotte Hyundai and within three hours I drove off with my new car. And on top of everything else everybody was so friendly absolutely no judgment zone they did everything they could which I know is their job but at the end of the day they were fabulous
My salesman was Daniel Coleman. From the minute I called to check on the availability of the Elantra Limited he set himself apart.With the current shortage of vehicles going on right now, all the other dealerships I contacted about inventory (Honda, Toyota, Kia) immediately turned negative telling me how hard it would be to get a car. Daniel did just the opposite, he was very positive. Even though the dealership did not have any of the requested cars on site, he informed me that everything I was looking for was available in the Sonata.I did not want a Sonata.But with the honest need for a car, I agreed to come to site and see one. As we walked by the Sonata N-Line, I made the comment that all that meant was it had an upgraded appearance package. He did not get combative, rude or dismissive but took the time to point every single thing that was upgraded to make the car unique. He actually showed me everything about the car, then asked if I would like to see it in action instead of just asking for my license and suggesting a test drive.Best salesman I have ever had!
Wanted to purchase my first car here and was super excited but that excitement soon turned to aggravation. I had gotten pre approved for a car that i had picked out online and even emailed one of their sales reps back and fourth for the week to set up an appointment to see the car so I could make my purchase before arrival a family member that was taking me to see the car had called up there to make sure since i was a first time buyer i wouldn’t be taken advantage of and boy they were going to, they had sold the car i wanted days before but called me the day before making it seem like they still had it, then on top of that they ran my credit for a car twice my budget that i didn’t approve of or want. So i’m glad i went with my gut to find another dealership.

4 words... DO NOT GO HERE. I knew exactly what needed to be done and they tried to charge me $1700. I waited 3 and a half hours for an oil change and tire rotation. The lady next to me waited 4 and a half. Save yourself and go to Keffer Hyundai.
Sarah gave me and my wife an awesome car buying experience, she was very informative and professional. She made the whole process feel personal and even left a personal note on our car. After the purchase she has called and made sure that everything is great with the car. Would recommend her if your looking for a new or used car in Charlotte.
Horrible experience at dealership. My salesman was Phil and he will connect with you personally at the beginning but then is very pushy and is not considerate of the potential buyer. Had concerns about fees and pricing, will give a sleazy explanation and not give 100% transparency. He will not give you the best deal possible. While ending my negotiations with him, he called another potential customer right in front of me and then arrogantly told his coworker he would have the car sold in a few hours. Tried to end our relationship on a friendly note but very rude. Also did not appreciate sales manager eavesdropping on conversations. Will never try to come back to this dealership for future car buying.

Really poor experience. Made an appointment through the Costco auto buying program. The dealership/salesman didnt follow any of the rules of the program. Wanted to play games right from the start. I dont play games and made that clear multiple times. Salesman didnt believe me I guess bc he was shocked and then less than pleasant when I told him I was done and got up to leave. Online inventory also very misleading. Probably why they wouldnt tell me how many vehicles they actually had on the lot until I drove an hour and a half to get there to see how few they really had.
While the service representative was great, my experience was awful. My wife and I bought a 2021 Palisade last September. There was a sickening smell inside the vehicle. After some research, we discovered that this is a common problem with the Palisade. Rather than replacing the headrests (the origin of the odor), we were required to bring the car in for service on 3 different occasions—Twice for treatments and a third time (90 minutes) for a service tech to call the “service line” in order to get approval to replace the headrests. I will have to return for a fourth visit to have them replaced. This has been extremely frustrating!
Just bought a new Palisade and cant say enough good things about my experience with South Charlotte Hyundai. My salesperson,Neil, was great to deal with...he wasnt too salesy and was quick to respond and give me whatever info I asked for. We put the deal together over the phone and the vehicle was ready at the time and day we had arranged. Would definitely recommend Neil to my closest friends and family.

And it shouldn’t be charge since I agree to do the service with them. My second worst experience in this dealership. And also she was telling me about $50 discount with purchase over $500. I didn’t get that either. Never go back again ever.

I called on Friday about the new Santa Cruz. Was given a price, pictures, I had financing. I drove 3 hrs from Raleigh to Charlotte, my mom drove 2 hrs from Virginia to buy this car only for the salesman to text at 1219 that he isnt allowed to show the car. Big waste of time and money. Now weve purchased a car from their competitor. Trash sales practices, trash transparency, a bunch of clowns who dont know whats happening. Buy somewhere else.
I booked a appointment just to have a oil change and it took 2 hours and 50 mins just for them to finish. How do I have a appointment and still have to wait so long . Makes no sense.
Spent three and one half hours to have an oil change. They didn’t have the oil filter in stock and went to NAPA and picked up the wrong filter so had to make a second trip. Totally unacceptable performance.Jack Doyle
Our experience dealing with Anthony as our salesperson was very pleasant. I bought the 2021 Palisade with the Limited trim package. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and professional. Anthony was straightforward and honest with us. He worked hard to present all the options for me to decide without much pressure. I appreciate both the dealership and his efforts in working with me to make sure I got a good deal that made financial sense for both of us with financing, trade-in value, etc. After purchasing the new vehicle, he got me set up and walked through all the high-tech features thoroughly.

I drove up to get an oil change as soon as possible and prior to a scheduled road trip next week. I was greeted by Bobbie Dills who had done work on my daughter’s Sonata last week and he asked if now was a good time. How long will it take? One and a half hour for the oil change and recommended tire rotation. I had my coupons saved on my phone and was happy to leave on time as promised with my coupon discount! Very pleased with a job well and done, discount applied and my Kona washed 😊❗️

I was never pressured or pushed to get something that I didnt want and although he made suggestions, he ultimately listened to all of my wants/preferences and made it happen!! I scheduled an appointment via the Hyundai website for a recall repair. The week prior to the appointment, the dealer called me to confirm my appointment.At the this time the representative on the phone told me they would notate my account and ensure that the parts were in stock for my repair.I dropped my car off the next week only to get a call a few hours later informing me that they do not have the parts for the recall repair and I would need to come in again.I also had them repair (warranty) a portion of my rear view mirror that keeps coming apart. 2 days later it broke again.I was told they would call me when the parts arrived and have a time available to can come back and have the repair actually done. This was a week ago and I have not heard back.
Was greater warmly by buddy my service adviser. He got me set up. He called me regularly with updates and kept me advised to the status. I never felt forced to perform the recommended the services. They offered exceptional pricing for the brakes and turbo hose replacement. Then when an issue came I took it back and Ron got it fixed and offered me a loaner if it it was necessary. Buddy went above and beyond for me and I look forward to coming back.

Service here is astronomically slow! I was not impressed with the overall service the last time I visited this location. After almost an hour and a half of waiting in an empty waiting room, I finally decided to get up and see how much longer it would take. To my surprise, Crystal Kush and five others are standing around gathered in a circle, talking about God knows what.I look forward, my car just sitting there. I ask how much longer, only to hear my car was still waiting for service. Honestly, it was terrible. As I explained to the attendant, I would like to reschedule. A young man then comes from the back, ready to work on my car. My car was due for an oil change and tire rotation; it took no longer than 15 minutes to get it out the way once he started on the services. I became curious if services were performed in such a short amount of time at this point. After driving off and arriving home, I noticed there was no sticker on the dashboard. I called back to confirm that the auto mechanic performed an actual oil change, and Crystal confirmed. Ive completely lost trust in this place, and they seem to become more sloppy. I will take my services elsewhere in the future.

The staff are really friendly and polite. It was the very first experience of us buying a car and sure it was a pleasant one. To be completely honest, the agent handling our case could have been a little bit more helpful. Though as I mentioned, it was our very first experience and maybe we expected too much. The manager and the finance agent were extremely helpful, especially the finance lady who took her time to stay a little bit over time to get us through the papers. Overall, it was a very good experience and we sure do suggest this branch to everybody !
The service department was great! They got my car in and out in a timely manner and everything went great. They were very friendly and explained everything to me. My only complaint was that 5 minutes after sitting down in the waiting room, I got a text from them asking to buy my car to which I said no thank you. 10 minutes later a manager came over with an offer in his hand to buy my car to which I said no thank you. Yesterday I got an email from another mangager saying they would like to buy my car to which I said no and was told I would be getting a phone call to set up an appointment for them to make me another offer. I understand there is a shortage of cars to sell right now but repeatedly asking your customers to sell their car is very annoying and did not make for a good first impression.

I had a wonderful experience trading in my lease for a new one. The whole process was so quick and painless. I worked with Anthony and he listened to my requests and worked with my budget. There were no surprises or extra fees. This is my 4th lease and by far the best and most efficient experience.
Crystal was awesome. She got me straight and was very knowledgeable about what my car needed. My only recommendation is if you can go during Monday-Friday, then go on those days because Saturday they have limited mechanics and the service is slow. They washed and dried my car!
I bought my Hyundai Tuscon from this dealership 10 years ago exactly and it was a great choice! Its definitely not the fanciest car on the block (I got a base model) but I have never had any major issues with my car 10 years in (knock on wood). I always bring my car here for a service. The service team is super nice and helpful. There is always multiple coupons online to help cover the work you need to get done (naturally it gets expensive). Def recommend.

Buying a car can be exhausting and tedious. My sales guy, Daniel was so nice, very people oriented. I know they want the best deal for them but I feel like everyone I dealt with was extremely nice.
Anthony Peak was a great sales person and made the buying process seamless. Everyone was super helpful there and I would buy another car again there in the future. However, I will warn future customers that you need to make sure to call if theres something missing/you havent been contacted. They did not contact me about my license plates for a month until I called 5 separate times --- turns out they wrote my phone number wrong on the paperwork. Quite inconvenient, as I now have to rush to the dealership before my temporary plates expire tomorrow.

I referred a new client to Hyundai south boulevard, the sales person was phil. He promise that it will be a $100 referral for a new car buyers. I had been almost two months since then and never saw that money. I texted Philip several times, and even got there,, fist time he said that they forget the check,,, and later times he didnt answer phone, and when he got,, he text me,, he is vacation and he will see when get back. He doesnt seem he cares about customers and lie to customers only to sell cars... Its an shame that a salesman,,, gave words to people and doesnt value the customer. I think that he needs the money more than the customers.. I think that Hyundai has to supervise more their sales person and worth their words and promise.
5 stars no doubt. Crystal Kush was so friendly and I was early and she took me right in. I also hot a car wash once they were finished changing my oil and rotating the tires. Friendly atmosphere and the wait time isnt long. I recommend you going to them for your Hyundai needs.
