I was getting my tire patched,had a nail in it. They were able to work me in fairly quickly considering they were BUSY, ONLY 2 MECHANICS. THEY HAVE WI-FI so the wait was not a PROBLEM. THEY WERE FRIENDLY.πππ€π
They always take good care of me at this location. I had got a letter the other day that they were closing this location and I hate to see them go. It was a very convenient location for me and their services are 2nd to none.

Initially went in for oil change, 2016 Mazda 6, though not having any issues decided to take advantage of $99 a.c. flush etc. special. Was told all was good and system was fully charged. Approx 10-12 days later I noticed a.c. blowing warm air, called & spoke with mgr. Jamel who told me to bring car back in next day. Told them had no issues previously & was puzzled. Was told that had to recharge a.c. but no leaks or issues discovered. Exactly 2 wks later headed back from Charleston S.C. to Charlotte, in 90Β° weather, a.c. went out again. Contacted AAA again, brought car in Tue, was told they finally discovered hole or tiny crack in a.c. line and after ordering necessary part from mazda could put replace Thu. Unfortunately for me I didnt double check the price of the part, which I was charged over $180.00 and almost $350 total, which was reduced to about $300 after asking why so steep. But after few searches the avg cost for part was $90 at most. I understand labor costs & etc, but for an issue to arise on a still fairly new, well maintained auto I feel burned and taken advantage of, especially being a member since 2013, this time around because we were members in early 2000s for awhile. Even if given oil change special/discount on next scheduled one, Im not too sure if I would take advantage of it. While Mgr & asst. Mgr were courteous & respectful, I still feel gouged.
We worked with Eddie. Brakes and suspension trouble while we were out of town on vacation in North Carolina. Chose AAA because we trust them when we are not near home. Even though they closed at 4 pm. Eddie stayed longer to fix our problem the same day so we could continue on our trip! The car is running great now and we cant thank them all enough!
Absolutely love this Triple A! They always service my Honda. They do an excellent job in communicating time frame, problem and solutions, and handling each customer with care in a timely manner. Their restrooms, drink bar, lobby, and waiting area is always emaculate. Not to mention, they are equipped with a small kids play place to keep the little ones occupied while mom and dad are getting their car worked on. I regularly use this location of AAA for maintenance and repairs of ourfamilys vehicles. The service is professional, prompt, and the waiting room is clean and comfortable. Plus, I can dream or plan a vacation in the travel center while I wait!

Visited this location to potentially replace a battery. Turns out the battery was fine. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient. They could have sold me a new battery, but showed me the diagnostic which said the battery was fine. I am very inclined to continue to visit this location for future needs.
I always receive great customer service at this location. On my way home from work one day, around 530p, an object punctured my tire and caused a slow leak. I was able to drive it to this center that was scheduled to close at 6p. The staff gave me a warm welcome and fixed my problem quickly.
I had my car not start after pumping gas ... The car had to be jumped and I had to drive in the heat to AAA on Albemarle Road, they checked my battery checked my alternator had a new battery put in my car gave me a bottle of water and were very nice to me and had me in an out in an hour a week later I go back I had a loud noise in my air-conditioner fan Adam who works there informed me that upper management came in there with the same problem and it just ended up being a leaf so he immediately checked behind my glove compartment and cleaned out all the filters and yes there was a leaf among other things and that took care of it, my car is a 2003 Honda Civic only 85,000 miles on it but the point being they couldβve taken advantage of me and told things Weβre wrong with my car that work because of its age. I appreciate their honesty in the treatment that I received
Went in today (day before thanksgiving) for a tire replacement that was an emergency to make my flight and these guys were awesome! Logan helped me get in an out very quick and kept me updated. Franky my tow truck driver was also awesome! Keep up the good work guys and thanks again!

AAA was so helpful when my alternator and battery went bad! When youβre a member of AAA youβre towing to the AAA car care center is absolutely free. They also turned out to be a little bit less expensive than my regular mechanic and they fit me in and had me fixed up and ready to drive again in a matter of hours! With my membership I got 10% off of labor and they also sent a free Lyft driver to pick me up and take me to their service center to get my truck! I canβt speak highly enough of them and they will be my car care center from now on!

This was the best service appointment I have ever had. They had me in the shuttle car driving me back to work in less than 5 minutes after they checked in my car. I went to the AAA Car Care center 5617 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte, NC on April 14, 2020. My driver side window had dropped down inside the door. I was told that they could do the repair. I left my vehicle at the site to have the repair done. I was called the following day and advised that the window regulator was bad and that it would cost $500 to complete the job. I gave my ok. I was called the next day and advised that the part they ordered did not fit and they would have to order the part from the dealer. Michael Waldo stated that if they ordered the part from the dealer the final cost now would be $1028.70, I said no. At this point I was told by Michael Waldo that I owed about $300 or $400 (not sure of the exact amount) for the work they had already done. So I agreed to go ahead and the work was completed. The work was done and I picked up my vehicle on April 16, 2020.Everything was fine, until June 7, 2020. Now, the window is stuck in the up position. I made an appointment and took my vehicle back to the Car Care center on 6-11-2020. They ran diagnostic & per Adam the door lock actuator & motor were defective and needed replacing. He stated that the actuator burned out the motor by sending electrical current when/where it should not have. The cost for the new repair would be $1200. I declined the repair and paid the diagnostic bill.Today, I went by the center and talked to Jamal Gathers. I asked him for a copy of the invoice showing where they ordered the window regulator. He declined, stating that that would be like asking a car dealer for a copy of the invoice that showed what they paid for a car, I disagree. I have the invoice for the 2nd window repair from the dealer and right there on the invoice it states what part and the part number that was ordered for my vehicle.Now the crust of my complaint: All total this has cost me very close to $2000. I am a 70 year old on a fixed income. I realize that some things cost more than others and yes, I was not happy with the cost of the initial repair to my vehicle but I wanted it done and done right. I did not take my vehicle to βJoe next doorβ. I did not have any problems with the electrical system before having work done at AAA Car Care. I strongly believe that the work done by AAA Car Care was inferior and caused additional problems to my vehicle.
Its a good place to a oil change. It just took over 1 1/2 hours. Slow service.
This has become mine and my familys go to place for car care. I have used a number of places in my life time but these are by far the best car care people I have dealt with. They dont just tell you what is wrong with your vehicle they show you. They keep you posted on the status of your car and notify you right away (with pictures to your cell phone) of any problems they find. I dont plan on ever going anywhere else.
Great waiting area! Great customer service and if asking they will explain to you just about whatever you need to know!! If your appt. Is in the morning they will be finished in the morning! I am appreciative of the drink refreshment they has readily available with bathroom!
I cannot say enough good things about this AAA location. The inside and outside are very clean and neat. The team is organized and works well together. I think they actually like each other and like their jobs!! It was quiet and I was able to get some work done on my laptop while the work was done on my Jeep. This is not my first experience there and all have been great! I had been given a quote for more than $2,400 to get my engine light to go off and pass inspection!!! Guess what? Nothing the previous garage had quoted needed to be replaced. My only mistake was not calling Jamel at AAA first. He knew immediately that I was being scammed. He got me fixed up, did the inspection and did some other things that I had been putting off for a long time! I was out of there for just over $700! Which is a nice chunk of change, but not a $2,400 highway robbery! Ill be going back there for all service and repairs!
I bought a new used car. I took it in to be checked out. The staff was timely and professional. Even though my car was in excellent condition, they were able to tell me at what mile marker I need to bring it in for regular maintenance and have things like spark plugs, and fluids changed. That was pertinent information that I would not have known.
Excellent Honest & Caring.I have been a member of AAA for a very long time. They have had many transitions in their auto care service. Lately, I have dealt with what I know to be a great representative Laura. I had a problem with my car where all of a sudden my car would not go faster than 40 miles an hour. Long story very short, after searching the internet and calling the dealer I found out above the brake pedal there is a switch and they claimed it was bad. Cost from the dealer was $200.00. I called AAA and spoke with Laura who ordered the part and could install it for $160.00 with my AAA discount. I expect to pay this amount and then they informed me that it was the little part that was there and not the actual switch. How honest is that? Again long story short the part was not in stock the dealer said 2 days to order it and they still managed to put a temporary part so that I would have a car. Cost $60.00 Next the dealer finally got the part and delivered it to them and they put it in and the total bill was $77.17. Wow beyond happy and look if you have a problem with your car an honest dealer is what you want because $77.17 was a lot better than $200.00. Great job Laura and your honest mechanic. Like Arnold says. I will be back.
While they are normally overbooked and a little slower than some places I can say that it may be for attention because Ive never come home with fewer nuts or bolts than I went in with nor have they ever done a job poorly. And in the end Ill give up a little time I can schedule over being on the side of the road 8 days a week

Mr Adam Shrader was a great help taking the stress and worry out of my AAA Car Care experience. The shuttle service allows me to go back to work and come get my car on my time. The service I received was friendly and helpful. I love seeing the inspection sheet of my vehicle. I will be going back next Friday for some important fixes I had not noticed I needed! They went above and beyond to service my Edge. It was leaking oil, and they found the filter was loose and tightened it. They also saw I had a AAA battery under warranty and tested it while I was there and found it was not working property and replaced it. My bill at the end of the day: $0.00! Thats right, nothing!

My experience was great. All that I needed was a simple oil change. They accepted my coupon without a fuss and did a quality job and were overly pushy trying to upsell me something.

Theyre nice enough and do a fine job, but they never have it finished when they say they will. Dropped my car off at opening (7:30am) and was told it would be ready by 11am. Its now 1pm and wont be finished until 3:30pm (they hope). This is after it took 4 hours for brakes yesterday (after saying it would take an hour at most). So all together 12 hours for brakes and steering pump... ridiculous. Expect to be there for several hours at least, even for basics and with an appointment.
I had no work done but the worker were extremely helpful and willing to assist me in anyway they could. I would try them for work if I needed to have my car looked at.

I had my car towed in because it stopped working. Originally, I wanted it towed to my regular mechanic, which was much closer, but was told that Id save ten percent on repairs at a AAA location. I was told by phone by a AAA mechanic that I needed a new alternator and a new battery, and I was quoted something in the neighborhood of $600. I called my regular mechanic and was quoted $450, so I had it towed there instead. Turns out I did need a new alternator, the battery was fine, but I needed a new belt. My total cost was $330. So I saved almost three hundred dollars by going to my usual mechanic. Lesson learned.
AAA Car Care Center on Albemarle continues to earn my business. Their staff was warm, friendly and they took the time to educate me on my car. I have never felt more at ease spending my money knowing I was getting an HONEST assessment of my problem. Deciding where to take my car for anything has never been an easier decision for me. They even have nice chairs in the waiting room with a television so it hardly has the feel of a garage waiting room. They took GREAT care of me, gave me an incredibly FAIR price, explained the entire situation....ie problem, cost, labor, parts...etc. Simply said I will never bring my car anywhere else! Their personalized service is so rare to find these days, nice to see someone still believes in giving great customer service.
This establishment put the wrong waterpump in my suv. It started leaking antifreeze less than a month after the work was done. AAA charged me over $2000 for the job in total so Im very upset at their incompetence. Recently I went to a more capable establishment for the correct waterpump.
This place is a joke. Had a 12 oclock appointment and had to wait 2 hours to get a diagnosis on a brake check and alingment check. They told that I needed an entire new brake job which I wasnt too surprised about. The quote for only the back brakes was close to $600. The parts would only cost me $200 for front AND back brakes. About the alignment check he says yeah you need an alignment but we didnt run the test because the technician thinks the tires look like they need to be aligned. Well thats why I brought it in to get tested and diagnosed to whether I need one or not, not an opinion without even testing it. Not the first time Ive had issues at this location. Total waste of 2 hours of my time

DO NOT use as a tirerack installer. This AAA just cost me $86.85 reimbursement due to negligent installation services. I will NEVER return nor use tirerack, both, for their lack of knowledge and training of their installers. I had a flat tire, told their representative, Brandon that I had a tirerack, same tire shipped to install as a replacement. He took a screenshot of the new tire pic, order number, and tirerack contact information. I told him, as the installer, he was to contact tirerack and discuss my tire reimbursement...to make sure to send the right info/pictures so I could get reimbursed $86.85. He called the next day to confirm that the tire was in fact irrepairable, and what was he to do? I requested again, the tire is there, please change it. I picked up my car, he confirmed he sent the picture over to tire rack. Three days later, my tire claim is denied due to improper pictures. Brandon did not contact tirerack as he was supposed too, the pictures were insufficient. I am the customer, he is the installer, and I assumed since recommended by tirerack as their verified installer, it would be correct. Tireracks third party claims company will not reimburse me, as Brandon notified with no concern or solution, its been discarded. Im out $86.85. I do not recommend future tirerack customers to use their installation services.

Bad. They tried to sell me some wiper blades. I just bought a set two weeks ago. Trying to sell me something like that is terrible. I would not recommend anyone to AAA. I call it stealing. Selling me something I dont need. When I walked in to AAA, the clerk was on the phone. H e did not even acknowldge me for the first 5 minutes. Poor customer service. Very disappointed in AAA. Enough said.

I appreciate the work that was done to fix an engine oil leak in my car.
My 2003 Mustang was overheating and towed by AAA to the nearest AAA service center (AAA Automark car care center, 5617 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212). They initially diagnosed it with low radiator fluid. Then they diagnosed it with blown head gaskets. Then they told me they couldnt get the timing cover off to remove the heads and I would need a new engine from XXXX Company. My curiosity told me to call XXXX Company and ask how much the engine would be for my car and they told me they dont carry or make an engine for my car. Consequently, I told the AAA Automark car care center to terminate the repairs on my car as I was towing it to the Ford Dealer. I paid AAA Automark car care center for their ineptitude so they would let me tow it to the Ford Dealer. After Ford reassembled my engine and restored it to running condition, the Ford Dealer determined that my radiator was simply leaking and repaired it. Instead of my repair costing approximately $800, the total to pay AAA for their efforts and Ford to reassemble and repair, the total money put into my car was $5000. How would you rate this service?
