We were in Charlotte for a day, and honestly, the only things that came up in Google’s “to do in Charlotte” were overpriced zoos and a bunch of bars/nightclubs. We are from a rural area, so many of the “hidden gems” were nature highlights found in our own backyard, so we opted for this place, and we are glad we did! The kids (11 & 8) enjoyed the scavenger hunt. They liked the exhibits and weren’t bored with anything. The place was clean and the volunteers were warm and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful. The tour was amazing, inspiring and touched my heart. As a history lover, I enjoyed seeing all the paraphernalia on display. One of my favourites was the suit he wore to see the Queen. The gardens are a lovely addition, and the house is a must see. Its maintained so well. Staff are kind, friendly, and accommodating. Didnt get to spend a lot of time at the library because we came late but it had a good selection of books and we bought some. My husband and I stopped to just watch Billy Grahams recorded sermons and he is charismatic and the sermons were very relevant to today. So grateful to visit and would highly recommend a visit here! 😁

A very pleasant surprise stop on our trip. The staff is really friendly and eager to connect and help. The whole exhibition on Billy Grahams life is really well done and worth every second! Would definitely recommend. Not only is informational and entertaining, but it also really straightens ones faith.

We came for 2nd here during our vacation. 1st visit on Dec 2019. We joined the tour inside library and fill out the questionnaire and answers the questions and they gave you souvenirs. Recommended and must visit when this area.

The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. It was interesting to learn more about Graham as a person, in addition to his ministry. My mom really enjoyed it and was very touched by the presentations on the tour portion. Milkshakes were delicious, too!

What a wonderful place to hear the story about that great man Billy but to hear even a greater story about God coming in the flesh names Jesus that came to die for our sins. . I was so glad a brother in Christ recommend it to us. It was very good would love to go back and take my mother that doesnt know the Lord maybe this will move her and bring her to Christ. Beautiful Library filled with a lot of good books, like by Charles Spurgeon, Pilgrims progress, The Book of the Martyrs and of course books by Billy himself. I was so glad to see godly books there and it not filled with fake prosperity preachers. I could go back just for the books alone they are a bit overpriced my Kj bible was about $20 more than online price but its worth it because its absolutely free to go in and Im sure it helps it keep running. May God keep blessing Billys children and the staff members here for doing such a great job.

Wow...this place is special for sure. Im thankful we were able to make it here from our trip to Charleston on our way home to Illinois. This place is rich with history and you have an opportunity to get to know Billy Graham and the message he loved to share. If u have a few hours to spend, its so worth, stopping by and checking out. Everyone who works/volunteers there is super super nice. Really truly a beautiful experience.

A nostalgic visit to teach my kids about Billy Graham... But the gospel focus and the powerful challenge to live out our faith was the real outcome... For me! A great stop for us while in town.

This is such a great phace to go to and visit they have somuch to see it is well keep up staff are very helpful. The library the museum and the birth place is all so good to see we do highly recommend this place to all great for familys.

This free exhibit is a lovely tribute to BG and his legacy. It is geared for those who sit for long periods of time to watch and listen to his and others words, not for small children. The limited grounds are beautifully manicured and the facility is clean and well kept.

This is a GREAT place to experience history and insight on Jesus and pure evangelism!The interaction with staff was amazing! They greeted us with love and excitement and they seem to enjoy and love their job!!Its free to the public and is a great place to learn history!

This was my third visit to the Billy Graham Library. I havent been able to go through the tour because my little ones arent ready for that yet, but the opening greetings by Bessie, the talking cow, are great fun for the children! We love the bronze stature of tye sower in Ruths bookstore amongst other things. The beautiful tall incased bookshelves are amazing. And the gifts and books for purchase are wonderful. The staff was gracious with our children running around and exploring EVERYthing, even when they needed a little correction for climbing on Bessies fence😉.Weve enjoyed times with the prayer team and all the staff acknowledge the children and are eager to interact with them with the love of Jesus.Mrs. Rose Adams was a welcome blessing with her love of the children and talking with them about sharing the Gospel and giving them scripture cards to pass out to their friends. We did not take that opportunity for granted and passed out many cards their at the library💟.There is a beautiful, guarded memorial area to honor Billy and Ruth Graham. And a wonderful, peaceful nature trail, which is especially meaningful for the children to have a place to run and explore.If youre passing through Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, this is a wonderful place to take a rest and receive from the Lord for your journey.We look forward to a visit at Christmastime 🎄.

We didnt even know this existed. It reminded us of the ark encounter or the creation museum in Kentucky. Its free and all the employees are some of the friendliest people youll ever meet. I loved the walk through evangelical history through the ministry of Billy Graham.

Amazing place!!! I love how Pastor Billy Graham submitted to the Lord to be used for His glory! Very loving, God fearing staff to serve all guests & the self guided tour was no charge but I would suggest a donation according to how the Lord leads you! I do not care what you believe but if you are a Christian or not this is a place that you should not miss if in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Dont believe in Christ, go anyway, the history of Rev. Grahams life is very interesting. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ this is a MUST see.

This a an inspiring and uplifting destination! Billy Grahams story and message are presented with dignity and grace. The Dairy Barn snack bar was reasonably priced, not tourist priced. It is a setting so beautiful that we heard a child ask if it was Heaven!

I brought my 92 yr young mom per her bucket list request up to Charlotte to see this library of a man my mom has admired and respected all her Christian life. We were both amazed at how many places he had gone to spreading the gospel and how many prominent people he had interacted with, whether he believed in their politics or not. It was extremely rewarding and very emotional for me and mom. Im so thankful for such a wonderful well spoken man of God who touched our lives in such an incredible way. And very thankful my sweet mom is still here to enjoy it with me. Everyone of all ages will enjoy it.

The team here is so wonderful! I have been here multiple times but I wanted my boyfriend from Ghana to experience the library as well, so we planned to come for our first official date, but unfortunately we got there late. With only 45 minutes before they closed, the lovely lady gave us a quick tour and we were still able to take great pictures at the end! There was a lady named Jackie who took our picture and a great guy named Zack who prayed with us! My boyfriend loved it and Im super thankful for a Billy Graham! Such great vision and such a great day!

God is so very good. This is not as much about the Billy Graham Library as it is about those we met. While traveling throughout the month we stopped in Charlotte NC to visit Elevation Church. We had decided to tour the BGL and were immediately greeted with a serenade by security guard Johnny who made us smile after having a tough 36 hrs. Next we were sought out by chaplain Craig who I had been watching and he was smiling to many but asked to pray for us. Had a great visit and learned so much touring the library. While viewing Billy and Ruth’s graves in the rain we were again approached but this time by chaplain Emily who we interacted with regarding the serenity of the burial plot being her favorite places on the property. Emily asked to pray for us after we confide in her regarding recent struggles... her prayer left us speechless and emotional. Your timing Jesus could not have been better, thank you for sending us Craig and Emily but more important, thank you to Craig and Emily for having the courage and commitment to listen to our amazing Creator, Lord, and Savor and approach us. We were/are going through the worst storm of our lives and your genuine and loving prayers lifted us up beyond what we knew we needed. BGL, thank you for having chaplains on site, we can only speak on Emily and Craig but their insight that we were in need displayed God’s perfect timing that we must truly stop questioning.

The barn has several videos to watch, items to see that belonged to them and is very informative. Their gravesite is on the property. You can tour the first floor of their home. Cost is completely free including parking.

Great place to visit and learn about Billy Grahams ministry. The library layout was excellent allowing the visitor to journey and experience the life of Billy Graham and his response to Gods calling. Yes, you will have a chance to hear the good news that Billy Graham so embraced and be presented an opportunity to response. Best of all, it is free . Unfortunately, I was in a rush so did not get to explore the rest of the ground (e.g. the restored house he grew up in).

Excellent from start to finish. Courteous staff, clean barn style restrooms, delicious food, clean areas and lovely gardens. Library depicts a chronological review of the crusade and life of Rev. Billy Graham and family. Grounds are well maintained, and hold the burial grounds for Rev Graham, wife and staff. A full set of books for review or purchase, novalties and gifts. Perfect representation of Billy Grahams life and legacy. Great family outing to educate the historical and emotional aspects of his life. It is a fantastically well run place, and the people who work there are very nice. During Christmas time the grounds are all beautifully decorated with lights and they have a live Nativity that includes live animals as well. All in all, a great family outing!

Monumental voice and inspiration to us all! This place is full of his books and other Christian related materials. The facility is fantastic!! It takes you through the timeline of Grahams life and walks you down memory lane! Showing you through a headset tour the laces and people he touched! His devotion and faith in Christ was spread around the world! He met with dictators and leaders both! He met and prayed with some of the most influential people on earth 🌍!! Good Stuff here!

We didn’t know what to expect going in as we didn’t read any reviews. Everyone was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. We learned so much about Graham’s life and were able to have a better understanding of his ministry after we left.

Had lunch here for the first time! Was great! Menu changes every week. Open to military and first responders. 5$ and alot of food. Like eating in an amazing cabin in the mountains but so close to the Air base! Will def go back !

A must visit if you are in Charlotte! This will refresh your faith. The environment is beautiful and the staff were so loving and kind. The thing I liked most is the Journey of Faith tour which was about Billy Graham but also had a major focus on the gospel and the work of Christ. The intent of the tour is to build your faith or to help people come to Jesus. We loved it and would come back. The book store and cafe are also perfect!

The Billy Graham Library is such a peaceful place. You can feel the Spirit of the Lord. This is a wonderful place to bring friends and family to share about the power of the gospel. Billy Grahams story points directly to the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. Great little café as well. The chicken salad is SO good and I had a delicious soup of the day (chicken and rice) as well. If youre on the fence about visiting, dont hesitate. You wont regret the experience. The grounds are beautiful as well.

The Billy Graham Library provides decorated sets that pay tribute to Billy Graham and showcase the many lives that he impacted while on this planet. I really hope you have as much of an experience as I did when you come here.

This is a wonderful place for the whole family to visit. There is no cost to tour the library or the old house where Billy Graham grew up in. There are several walking paths you can take to see other parts of the property. The grounds are very well taken care of with lots of flowers and bushes that are in bloom. This is really a beautiful place to visit. The inside of the library is magnificent when you enter. There is an information booth located in the center if you have any questions about the property. There is also a nice cafe, a fully stocked book store and lots of new information and pictures from Billy Grahams funeral. In the old house you will find many old pictures of the Graham family as well as some of the furniture he once used. This place is definitely worth the visit of your are in Charlotte.

What a beautiful tribute to the life and ministry of Rev Billy Graham. My husband and I thought this would be a quick little stop, a simply tribute, but this is an experience. The self-guided tour inside can take as little as 90 minutes but we actually took a few hours, carefully reading everything and seeing all of the memorabilia throughout the tour. Of course, the whole library points you to Jesus, and at the end of the tour, it’s basically a heartfelt, Spirit-filled altar call. Absolutely beautifully done. Super nice staff working here. The Dairy Bar is fun and everything is good there, plus there is plenty of seating. The Graham house and walkways to the headstones for Billy & Ruth Graham were also a pleasant surprise for us. Make sure you fill out the survey and turn it in. The staff give you a nice souvenir bag with one of Billy Graham’s books inside. What a special place. We will be back.

We attended on homeschool day and witnessed a child getting saved. Praise God! Thank you to the Graham family for such a wonderful, beautiful place to visit. Its a shrine to Billy Graham, they have his house, a self guided tour and an animintronic cow thats starts the tour. Theres a nice little cafe in building also.Its less of a museum and more of a series of videos that you watch from room to room. I would say come here if you are a huge Billy Graham fan or if you have an extra day, since its completely free. But if you have a limited time here in charlotte, I dont know if its worth the stop.

The many volunteers working here were VERY friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and looked professional in their outfits/uniforms.The facility and grounds looked beautiful. The three grave stones blended in well with the natural surroundings. This place honored the great leaders of the Christian faith very well. A+++

Got there too late for a tour. They end at 3:30 bur it was a wonderful experience regardless. I got to meet the woman who took care of his mother before her passing what a treat! This place is like a oasis in the middle of the city. I had a rough day(we found out a friend passed during out stay here) and I felt such peace, it reminded me of home out in the country on the eastern part of the state. I will be back again in hopes to spend more time here.

This is a wonderful gem in the Charlotte area not to be missed. You have no excuse not to stop since it is very close to CLT. Admission is free and you step into a very significant piece of history. Billy Graham touched so many lives and his library is a wonderful tribute to the man and Gods calling in his life. There are several exhibits and self guided tour. If you don’t want the “religious” experience but would like to visit, there’s absolutely no pressure. Even a restaurant on site for those who are squeamish about being around church stuff. Great place to visit with kids. The people there are so nice and very helpful. They say it’s a great place to visit around the Christmas holidays.

Fully accessible areas. Plenty of places to sit although the library is not a very large area. Everything is on one level so you will not be climbing stairs. Plan to spend at least 3 hours to really appreciate the exhibits and take it all in.Food in the large cafe is affordable. There are bathrooms, in case you are wondering. The bookshop items are all priced fairly for any budget. This is not a place that will rip you off of your hard earned dollars. No pressure to buy and no pushy sales tactics. Refreshing indeed!Plenty of staff on hand to guide you and even pray for you if you wish, in a lounge area of the library. You will start the tour by watching a few very short films of Billy Graham as you move through the sections of the library for a different experience.There are exhibits of awards, Ruth and Billys personal effects, photos and so much more.The Grahams are the greatest, most dignified evangelists that ever lived. It is evident that they led very humble, Christ-centered lives. Truly inspiring. We are so glad we came.

There’s a cafe and gift shop inside the library. The house in which Billy Graham grew up is modest but lovely. The burial place where both Ruth and Billy are on the grounds as well.

This place is nothing short of amazing. Very beautiful well manicured grounds. They keep the entire museum super clean. Every exhibit was so well laid out I dont think it couldve been laid out any better. All the people working here are super friendly. Coming here is amazing because it really shows how God used someone so humble for something that would impact people for generations to come and have a huge impact all over the world and seeing the museum really brings it all into perspective of just how big our God is and just how much he loves us all. I definitely recommend this place to anybody.

We went for Christmas and what an exciting experience it was! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the carriage ride and we all enjoyed the story of the life Billy Graham lived through his faith. So thankful for the true man of God that he was! My kids had a great time!

I’m not a religious person but this place was on the top of the list at at TripAdvisor and it didn’t disappoint us. Great educational experience.Highly recommend to have a lunch at their on site cafe “Milky bar” the food is incredible great for the value. Good overall experience.
