Very professional and efficient, did state inspection on my car without having an appointment. Waited outside in the shade wearing a mask and I brought some reading material. There were maybe ~8 cars ahead of me but I got out in less than an hour. Smooth.

I had been going to a major company for oil changes and annual inspections. On my last visit I had the feeling that things were purposely being done to my car in order to add more to my total charges.Decided to try out University City for both oil change and inspection and was pleasantly surprised. In and out in less than 30 mins at a fair price. I will happily be using University City for car services going forward.

Nice people, but it’s pretty disorganized. Arrived right before they were supposed to open, according to Google (they were a bit late). 4 people were ahead of me. Many more started pulling in. No one seems to actively manage arrival/order of customers and I ended up waiting about an HOUR just for an inspection even though I had given them my keys and registration ~10minutes after they opened and confirmed the card machine was working. Someone else who arrived the same time as me saw it get busy and made the right decision to leave. Many people who arrived AFTER me for inspection left before me. Currently pregnant and super uncomfortable and couldn’t even use the bathroom because there was no toilet paper and clearly they were busy so I just tried my best to wait patiently.Also, inspection cost $40 (my car is tinted), and the business is not currently enforcing masks when inside, if anyone was wondering.Oh, and they have a cool bird.

The entire process was excellent. The pricing was very reasonable and the location is convenient for anyone living near the university area.There are plenty of other services available here. I only came In for a used tire which costed me only 45 bucks and the quality of my tire was impressive! I will definatly be coming back I highly recommend going during the week maybe on a lunch break as I could imagine this small establishment getting backed up on the weekends.

NC Inspectation - in and out 15mins or so

I felt that I was overcharged for a NC state inspection. Charged $40 for safety and emissions testing only. If I needed a tint inspection this would be understandable. Not pleased.

I read the reviews, the shop is close to my house so I tried it out. The reviews are accurate!!!As soon as I arrived, the mechanic kindly asked me if I needed help, asked for my keys and registration, and, by the time I sat down and got comfortable in the waiting room, my car inspection was over! I was in and out of the shop within 15 minutes!!!

Im actually shocked that most reviews were pretty accurate. I seen people in and out and my first thoughts were mechanics must be rushing or something but theyre actually just smooth and know what theyre doing. I only had inspection and tires rotated personally but watched them do atleast 3 or 4 cars before mine and was impressed. Im use to seeing mechanics chit chatting and looking in book wondering how to do stuff but not them. 2 thumbs up. As far as prices I have no clue since inspections are standard across state.

Top notch service and highly recommended. Showed up without an appointment for a flat tire that needed plugged. Was in and out in 25 minutes. To top it off, the credit card machine was down and I had no cash on hand. A gentlemen, who I believe is the owner, told me to come back later or whenever convenient for me to settle up on the bill. I returned soon after with cash and all was good. Professional, courteous and obviously trusting....we need more people like this in the world. I wont hesitate to go back.

Had to change my review after my recent oil change experience. Their prices are good and theyre relatively quick, but after my most recent oil change with them, I noticed that my car was rattling. Upon inspection under the hood, I found two motor oil caps in there! One had fallen onto the intake and the body of the car and was causing the rattling that I was hearing. Its clear that theyre good mechanics, but careless mistakes like this is unacceptable. Id say getting your vehicle inspected here is fine, but Im not going to trust them with any work further than that.

One of the best things to have in life is a go to mechanic. Someone who can educate you and take the few extra minutes to make sure youre not feeling hoodwinked into making unnecessary purchases. I had a GREAT experience with Sami, he took the time to conversate and make me feel appreciated. You can tell this mechanic shop is ran by warm hearts and hard working guys. This will be my go to spot for a long time!

I have never written a Google review but had to for this place. Just went there to get my tire checked out and it was a great experience!! The guy was soooo speedy and fixed my problems with expertise. He even pointed out to me what was wrong and i watched him fix everything. I definitely won’t be going anywhere else for my car troubles. Only cost me 20 bucks!!

This place is amazing. Went there today and was able to get a tire and have them put it on within 30minutes. They were very respectful and very helpful. I went to go tip them and they said “no thanks we are not here for the money but for this community”. We need more people like them in this world. Stopped in for an oil change. Very quick and reasonably priced. When checking out for my oil change, I brought up my tires to the gentleman. My light had been on a while and he mentioned to me that he noticed that my front tires were bad. I figured that while I was here I may as well go ahead and get those changed. Reasonably priced as well for both tires. Fast, nice service. Would recommend. Also note that I came earlier in the morning. Around 11am they started to get pretty busy.

Well where do I start. Im from California here visiting family. I ran into a problem driving one of the family members cars. I googled car repair shops near me and Univercity City Tires came up. I stopped by asked them if they can help as its not may car and hated to give it back with a problem. The owner Sammy found the problem ordered parts and repaired the car the same day.
