Ill give one star, because the gentleman was nice. The food was terrible. I ordered the entree Shwarma Chicken and beef meal, which he said came with rice, 10.99, when I got home no rice in both meals that I ordered. The shwarma meat was dry and awful. The falafel was terrible and burnt. You live and you learn, never again. They figured by the time she gets home she wont come back to get order corrected, because I live very far away. So do yourself a favor and dont go here if you think you are going to get a good cooked meal. $35.00 not worth it!!

I was looking for ingredients for dolmades, and didnt find what I needed at the big stores in Charlotte. Walked into this place, was warmly greeted, instantly helped, found exactly what I needed, and got friendly advice on what to pick. Store is clean, well organized and well lighted. A most excellent shopping experience. Highly recommend.

Dropped by this East Charlotte gem this morning and was greeted by Ehab. the friendliest demeanour and so helpful when I mentioned I was searching Turkish hazelnut spread. Ehab was kind enough to suggest that they could order it for me. the store is chock full of all types of Mediterranean & Middle Eastern goodies. I picked up a pack of pita. definitely recommend.

Went to this place for the first time ordered some food they charged me $20 got home the food is bad The lamb is very very salty and The yellow rice Is tasteless The only good thing is the tabouli salad on the photo you can tell that the meat is not right at allCall them to let them know that food is bad Guy was rude on the phone sound like he didn’t care do yourself a favor and stay out of this place I’m going to keep the tabuly salad and throw the rice and the meat away😡😡😡😡😡 So disappointedI feel like somebody just took my money and served me shit👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻🤬🤬🤬

International grocery and a mediterranian kitchen that makes amazing hot and ready food my favorite was the falafel and hommus as well as the shawarma, they had a huge selection of groceries and hokah products and coparred to places Ive shopped before the price was actually really good the best arabic shop Ive been to in charlotte

Fantastic!! There is only take out, but this is one of the best shawarmas I have had! I also ordered hummus which was to die for. Take a drive and head over to this spot for chicken, gyros and a shawarma.

Lamb sandwich was so tender and flavorful. Same with the chicken tawook, tender, tons of flavor, and very moist, saffron rice was delicate with a subtle richness. Baba ganouj was smoky, creamy, dreamy. Do not overlook the desserts! The baklava was very rich and had tons of pistachios in it. The owner (Im assuming he was the owner) gave me 2 little clam shell looking baked goods too and they were also fantastic, buttery, flaky, and sweet.Attached is an up to date menu (Jan 10th 2021)

Lovely! forgot to review this before, but the guy who runs this is one of the friendliest people ever :) the only person from Charlotte that isnt backhanded and condescending. if you ask where something is he doesnt just point in some vague direction, he actually shows you where it is

This is where I buy all my spices, great imported honey, grape leaves to stuff, but most especially olives and oregano. I have been shopping here for 20-plus years oh, wonderful people own this store.

Where do I begin, Im Romanian and Russian by birth and I miss the small things like grape leaf cabbage rolls and feta cheese, and fresh meats, not something you find at food lion. OMG I was driving and the pita and the meat, and the potatoes with the parsley, you guys. Worth a stop if you are in the area, oh and towards the back of the first Isle theyou have tea sets, they will tell u all about why they have them too, oh and before I forget you cook Corry come find your perfect spices. The Mediterranean market has a olive bar along with a pickled vegetables bar!!! Mix and match all of the olives youd like. They marinate the olives in olive oil, lemons, jalapenos, and other yummy things. I catered for my employees from here and we loved it. I had them prepare rotisserie chicken, mixed grills, and lamb chops for us. We also ordered a bunch of side appetizers like hummus, grape leaves, cucumber yogurt salad (amazing), and falafel platter. Presentation was great, portions were great, and it was all delicious. This place is very budget friendly. We were stuffed and food was left over. We are going to cater from here at least 4 times a month now. Thanks tim!

Been coming for years very nice man runs the restaurant and he is charitable. Saw him feeding the indigent for no charge. Oh and the food is tops in Charlotte.

This is the only middle Eastern Grocery/ Restaurant that is Equivalent to The Big Apple.. ILove the Lamb or the chicken. Garlic sauce on the sude.. Yummm Yummm...Give it a try You Wont be Disappointed!!!!!!!

This little hole in the wall looks kind of shady at first, but the food is so delicious! The owners, who are brothers, are the nicest guys. I buy all of my shisha here since they are one of the only stores around to carry the Nakhla brand. Their homemade hummus is so delicious too!

Shish kabob was delicious! It came with rice and their own specialty salad with homemade dressing (best salad ive ever tasted)... i got a falafel appetizer along with a side order of hummus. Falafel was soft and tasty, hummus was interestingly flavored and caught me by surprise in a good way. I would definitely come here and order take out again.

I recently was referred to this place by a friend that told me they have organic cold pressed Black Seed Oil. I am a nutritionist and i highely recommend the nigella sativa oil (black seed oil) they have here along with their organic forrest honey with healing qualities. Dont miss their spices section. Amazing organic spices that will give you a good flush! After i got my medicinal groceries i went to the butcher shop section and i ordered 5 pounds of lean red meat, along with 5 pounds of chicken breast and 3 pounds of lamb... The color and freshness of the meast is unlick anywhere i have seen, this is truly the best butcher shop in charlotte north carolina! Their meat is local slaughter and grass fed. Prices were very reasonable, and the staff was beyond helpful, and extremly friendly and nice!

I visited Cedar Land today and i got some fresh Pita bread and feta cheese. I also bought some local slaughter grass fed Lamb and Goat from their butcher shop section ( i like to make a mixed stew). I couldnt leave with out racking up on the best and cheapest organic spices in town!! So i got some fresh cinimon, cardamon, black seed oil, olive oil, tumeric, and a few other necessary spices to make the perfect Mediterranean lamb/goat stew. They reccomended i cook the lamb/goat in spring water and use the exact amount of spices, oils and ingredients they reccomeneded. Well... I made the stew and it was a success!! It was delicious and it cooked great! It was so easy to make and cooking it in spring water really makes a difference. Thanks Cedar Land !

I drive over an hour to go here to get pita and hummus. I havent gotten food to go on many occasions and it is always beyond delicious.

Creamiest hummus Ive ever eaten. We shared the vegetarian combo for an appetizer and it came with baba ghanouj, falafel, spinach pies, cucumber yogurt salad. it was all amazing and so fresh. I ordered the rotisserie chicken which came with saffron rice and specialty house salad, (they make their own Mediterranean dressing, amazing!!) My boyfriend had the mixed grill with saffron rice which came with shish kabob, shish tawook, and kafta. He loved it. I recommend this place to anyone! cant believe we just found out about it
