My wife went to this store today walked in was not greeted or checked in. She stood around for about 5 minutes to be acknowledged there was a man towards the back sitting with no clients but did not come to approach her or checked in. She finally asked do I need to be checked in gentleman helping someone else said please have seat someone will be with your shortly. The man in the back still sitting there not doing much. She continued to wait for 10 minutes, another person that was Hispanic walked in and that man in the back did not get up to help. Once a black couple walked the man in the back go up to help them (he was black)I said excuse me I have been waiting here to be attended. He quickly snapped back saying I’m checking them in She responded I have been here waiting and no one has checked me in. He refused to help and ignored her and continued to help the couple that came after her. Once another rep was done he came over to help and once again another black couple came in and that man got up to help them. I guess because She is Hispanic i guess her business was not good enough for him.

I had a great experience at this location. The staff and store manager went above and beyond to help me and even got me a better deal then what I had originally been signed up for. They were patient and answered all my questions and even helped in entertaining my 4 year old son while we got my account set up. This was literally one of the best customer experiences Ive had. Ayana the store rep was amazing and Jonathan Alvarez was equally fantastic very knowledgeable and super friendly. I look forward to returning to this store for my future needs. Im more than confident that my needs will be addressed.

Timothy Burnette and Chester Hannah are AT&T’s Top of the line duo representatives. I had a major problem with my new IPhone 12 Pro Max! When I walked in Timothy greeted me with the utmost’s respect and Chester as well. They guaranteed me that they will solve my problem and they honored their word. I’ve never in my life and I’m 53 years old seen two gentlemen work together so hard to figure out what was wrong with my phone. AT&T Corporate office needs to give these two gentlemen their own store with employees as knowledgeable with all there products as they are. I recommend anyone with a iPhone or product from AT&T to visit this store 230 E. WT. Harris Blvd in Charlotte, NC 28262. You will be walking in with a smile after they greet you and walking out with a even greater smile after dealing with these duo employees. I’ve am so proud to have gotten to know them both. They worked and worked hand and hand to figure out the problem and “THEY DID THE DAM THING”! After they told me they would not stop helping me until they figured out the problem! I’m so proud to also see that these two gentlemen were of my own race that stepped up and honored their word to me. That was the icing on the cake for me today! BLACK LIVES DOES MATTER AND THEY PROVED THAT TO ME TODAY! I COULDN’T BE PROUDER OF THEM! THEY DESERVE THEIR OWN STORE FROM AT&T! I knew right away that these gentlemen were raised right when they pulled a chair out for me to sit and when I got ready to leave them they made sure to walk me out and saw me to my car. I am so so proud of these two gentlemen they are the perfect duo team and they really prove to me that they need their own store! Where ever they go that’s where I will definitely go for the best service and I mean THE BEST IN CHARLOTTE!

I was so impressed and surprised by the customer service and assistance provided to me over the phone by Timothy Burnette. He walked me through different options and provided cost-effective breakdowns for each option. I appreciate great customer service as well as an enthusiastic attitude to help. I went in to upgrade to the Zfold3. The AT&T store rep quoted the cost to upgrade early, I knew how much it would cost, and said your phone isnt old. As if I couldnt afford the cost, very condescending and dismissive.

Absolutely the most incompetent business i have interacted with in all of my 31 years of living.I placed an order for a green iphone12 128 gb last night and even though it was advertised to be ready within 2 hours, I never got a notification that is was ready for curbside pickup until 2pm today. I live in South Charlotte and I only ordered from this store because it was the closest to me that had this particular phone. I called and there was an order error and I had to call at&t and speak with multiple people for 3.5 hours to cancel the order, so I could turn around and reorder.I was unable to order again online because the store “didn’t have one”; however, a representative from corporate at&t spoke with the store and informed them that there is one there with my name on it for an order that was just cancelled. The store acknowledged that there is in fact one left for me and suggested that I leave and head there at that moment (545pm) because they close at 8pm. They told me to ask for the person they spoke with by name and I did when I got there at 630pm (45 minute commute). I was told to wait in my car until they called me.I waited until 745pm in my car until I finally walked back in the store because no one answered my calls. I waited without anyone acknowledging my presence until 810pm and offered to setup my phone at home, I just simply wanted to pick up the phone that was reserved for me. The associate then told me that he doesn’t think they have this exact phone because he just sold the last one (the one reserved for ME!) to the person that he just assisted. He said there are some in the back but they are reserved and would try to release it to me.After waiting for 20 more minutes, I was informed that they couldn’t get that phone for me because they’re all reserved. Well wait, wasn’t the phone you just sold to a customer who walked in and didn’t order ahead, RESERVED FOR ME?!I’m a nurse and I work 12 hour shifts for the next 4 days. I spent a total of 6.5 hours on the phone and at the store aligning this purchase for the exact phone that someone else bought after simply walking in. I could have spent the 6.5 hours with my 6-month-old son since the next time I can see him is in 5 days. I wasted so much time and effort on something that never happened. I said to hell with that store, they will NOT be getting any commission from me and called the at&t customer service on my way home. I was able to order the phone and after explaining the NIGHTMARE I just experienced, they are shipping it priority and it will be delivered tomorrow!Save your time and money... order online and have it delivered to your home. It’s way easier and you don’t have to deal with incompetent customer service representatives!!

I bought the 12 pro max yesterday 4/18 in an att retail store. My friends have been having a hard time hearing me. So i went back to the store for an exchange and the girl that sold me the fon, sneakily walked to the back. And when I asked for a manager, she was on a conference call. I hadnt had the phone for 24 hours yet and they just threw me away as a customer. Thats not good service. Service can improve buy allowing me to do an exchange in the store that I bought it from. I bought the fon from them but then they told me that I have to go to an Apple store bc the phone is under warranty. Busy stores don’t care about service. Just sales

Representative stopped answer my texts after I had issues with trade in program after I took on a new iPhone 12 during launch.Used to work for this company and this is the ultimate no no.The manager was respectful but I will NOT bring anymore business to this store. Ive been back and forth in the store 3 times and spent over 3 hours on the phone with customer care.I brought in 3 upgrades and was going to help them with acquire new business through a local car dealership but not anymoreThis is my fair warning, if you want to do business in this competitive market you need to help yourself customer through the good, bad, and ugly. I bought a new phone from here yesterday. It took almost an hour for me to switch the account to my name, which took way TOO LONG. Then when I bought my new phone I should have asked for them to transfer over my data from my old device to my new device, but no one offered. If you are a customer service agent I shouldnt have to ask you. I had to come home and do my own transfer it took 5 hours. Then they never transferred my old SIM card to my new phone. This was a real INCONVENIENCE!!

I visited this location today after purchasing a phone and tv services with AT&T through the Sales Line. After holding for two hours and still not receiving data, I called Customer Service back and the Techs were not able to figure the issue of my phone. In dire need I decided to come to the store. Visiting the store made a huge difference and turned a nightmare into a daydream. Victor the in store Rep reviewed my acct and within in mins her was able to identify the issue. After several calls to customer service and agents reviewing my account none of them never thought to look at the data plan for my phone, which blows me bc it was a very simple fix. Victor knew exactly what to, he apologized for the service that I had received from the 888 number. Not only did he show genuine care and concern he even had his manager of the store to come over just to chat and give a listening ear. This store rocks and I recommend coming to this location for great deal, genuine care and concern for customers and going the extra mile to make the experience a very good one. Now I am a satisfied customer thanks to Victor and the Store Manger.

Called this location tonight about a cancelled order and was told that they could not help me until tomorrow and I would not get a refund for the order for 7-10 days. Now what kind of customer service is that AT CHRISTMASTIME! YOU cancel my order but I can’t get a refund for 7-10 days!!! Rep took no responsibility for the situation even though he said that the “glitch” was AT&T’s fault. Never been in the store and will NEVER purchase so much as a pop socket from that location. Having my phone delivered just so I can avoid giving that location my money.

My husband and I bought 2 new I-phones last week from this store and have not been able to fully enjoy them yet as we are seniors that lack the knowledge to set them up. Today was the third time coming in to try to get the help that we needed and we struck gold! Her name is Yuleidy Kern and she did a fantastic job! She was patient, listened to what we said or complained about and fixed every problem we had. Then she made sure we knew how to do what we needed to do. She gave us all the time we needed without feeling rushed or stupid. I haven’t had that kind of great service in years!

Completely dishonest group of people. They gave us a quote in writing for what our monthly bill would be, only to find out that they have $130 worth of hidden, undisclosed monthly charges (on top of what we were quoted!) Called customer service, who told us that we were upsold on a much more expensive package and that the promises we had been made were not possible. Went to the store and showed them the deal we had in writing and they informed us that there are always hidden fees and they have no way of knowing what those will be when they sign an agreement.Several things that they lied right to our faces about. There is just a lack of integrity. These guys are thieves - plain and simple. We had been customers for 14 years straight. But were going with a different service now. Pedro, one of the managers and the most of the salespeople seem nice and kind - but will lie to get the sale. Hope this alert can help someone out there. I almost have never written a negative review in my life - but this one is warranted.

Came in the evening of January 30th & was instantly greeted by an associate upon entrance. Can’t remember her name, but she was a short brown skin young lady with very nice designer frames (glasses) & she had her hair in a bun. Though I was very indecisive about which product I wanted to purchase (an iPhone of course!) & I was a new customer to AT&T— she broke down the cost of everything for me monthly for all of the phones and plans I had in consideration. Beautiful store... staff sucks. This place takes unnecessary steps that prolong minimal issues. They also assume the consumer should difference know retail and corporate stores... Though they all do the same thing, two of the staff members were very condescending when asked legitimate questions. Very annoyed.

When I walked in the door with the person who I was adding a line for, I was told when we went to sit down that one of us or the other needed to wait outside due to social distancing. Although the allowable occupancy was 6 and it was us and 1 other person so we were in compliance. I told her how can I pick someone elses phone out for them. I cant play with it for them, that was unacceptable. She went to speak to the manager, and she was abrasive when she came back and she just started in on the transaction but didnt say anything else about it. My friend stood on the other side of the room because he was uncomfortable coming any closer. First impression was incredibly disappointing. When she learned she would be making some money off of me, she eventually raised her mood to polite. So, although I got what I came for in terms of products, the guest service I am used to was tragically neglected in this case. Probably will not return as this is my third, mediocre at best, experience at this location .

If I could deduct stars, I would. This particular store is a disgrace to the AT&T brand. This was a 2nd trip into this store to remove my deceased Mother’s name from an account. Osman reluctantly greeted me once I was 1/2 way into the store. When I attempted to explain the frustration of trying to resolve the issue over the phone and online, he said, ‘If you’ll listen, I will tell you the problem.’ I said, ‘I am listening, please tell me.’ He was unsympathetic to the personal dilemma of unwinding my Mother’s account. Not once did another team member or Manager step into to offer assistance. They were all focused on training a newer team member and assuring her that she would meet her goals next month. Osman told me to call their 800 number from the store and he would step in, if needed. While I dialed the number, he went to greet a new customer. After speaking the a representative, I called Osman over to answer her question. He held up his finger to let me know he’d be over in a minute. Once on the phone, he seemed confused by the questions the representative asked. I got back on the line, ended the call when we had taken the process as far as possible and exited the store without anyone acknowledging my departure. This store Is awful and the team members are disrespectful and unprofessional.

I have been a valued customer with AT&T for over seven years and have never encountered a horrible store visit like I did today. I have been a loyal customer for many years. I was disrespected and aggressively kicked out of the store by the manager. She wasn’t able to help and was repeating the same thing over and over. I no longer wanted to hear this and asked her to stop repeating the same thing. I was getting ready to leave when she yelled in my ear to get out multiple times. She has anger issues. I am an attorney and I believe she needs better training on how to handle upset customers without getting hostile. Her name is Melani Gonzales. Our bill was incorrect and she is the one who helped us start our u-verse plan for tv & internet. Thankfully the 1800 customer service is very professional and right away fixed our bill and apologized for the rudeness we encountered from the manager at the store. Call the 1800 number save yourself the rude/disrespectful customer service you’ll receive at this store.

Very disappointing. I wanted help with my screen protector and to buy a new phone case and then just dropped me. Twice.One guy said he wouldn’t help me with the screen protector and to look up to see if they had the case I wanted on my phone... myself... and after feeling lost for about 10 minutes because I’m not that tech savvy, the manager asked if I was okay, I told him no and asked for help, he began to look up the case I wanted for me and then said he’d be back and never came back. Another customer was arguing about a bill, other people came in after me and were being helped so I just got up and left. I’m down at the Cell phone repair shop down the way to see if maybe they can help since the well staffed AT&T store ignores their customers. 😔
