The owner was very kind and well versed. I had a refurbishment defect and he wassnr confident the solution would hold up long term. However; he really took the time to troubleshoot and make something happen! My phone is still fixed to this day and at an great price! The turnaround time is also efficient and the location is very convenient especially if working uptown.

My 5-year-old iPad Air stopped recognizing when it was plugged into a charger. I originally went to the Steele Creek location and Chou very quickly diagnosed it as a charge port issue. He offered me the option to buy a new iPad Air for about the cost it would take to fix mine but since my iPad has sentimental value and no other issues, I chose to fix it. He let me know Jon at the Uptown location would be the man for the job as it was more labor intensive than a typical repair. Jon was able to accept my iPad the next day and had it returned to me the following business day. This was my second experience with CPR and I will continue to bring my electronics here. I thought the Uptown location would be inconvenient but there is plenty of parking right out front of Latta Arcade on Church St. Just bring a quarter for the meter and youll be in/out in no time!

For sheer nom-to-dollar ratio, this place is unbeatable. Very generous helpings, made right in the open kitchen where you can watch the cooks (never seen any but the same 2 or 3 myself) grab huge handfuls of cheese and drizzle it over your nachos.And then right when youre thinking to yourself, Oh yeaaah, thats what I would do if I was making that for myself!, He reaches back in for MORE cheese to drizzle on top of that! All these five star reviews are CORRECT! John is AMAZING. And so reasonably priced. I was so nervous the cost of fixing my phone, and it was wayyyy lower than I was expecting. I brought the phone in during my lunch break around 12pm and it was fixed before 1! Later that day I realized my camera wasnt working, and he fixed it free of charge the next day! Highly recommend going to this specific location and having John fix your phone!

I cant say enough good things about CPR and Jon. I ruined my phone with water damage and was devastated that I lost all my data (pictures and videos). One place quoted me and obscene amount of money to recover the data so I kept looking and gave CPR a call. Jon was confident he could get the data for me. He gave me a fair price to do so and kept me informed of the timeline because he ended up having to order another part to get it working again in order to extract the data. I want to say he took about a week to get it to me because he had to order that part but he did and I couldnt be happier! He is also extremely nice so if you ever turn your phone into a brick and didnt back up your photos like me, hes the guy to go to!

Jon is the man, and went way above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I cracked the glass on my iPhone 6S, and took it to CPR to have fixed. Jon had it fixed within the hour (great turnaround time), but then when I looked at my phone through my polarized sunglasses I could not see the screen. I took it back to Jon and he did the necessary research, ordered me a new part, and reinstalled a new piece of glass that worked for me free of charge. Great way of doing business in 2018, would definitely go back to Jon with any issues in the future - CPR, give this man a raise.

The most offensive customer service. I drove all the way to the support this location and was told a reasonable price...actually the price that I assumed would be much more than he quoted to have fixed... then I was told that the lens would have to be ordered, I asked how soon could you have the part.. .the worker said friday.... which was to late as I am about to leave the country for a months vacation... I explained to him I needed the part sooner and asked maybe I should call around and ask for the part.....He replied you are asking me the part so that you could get a better price? As if to refuse my request. I directly told the worker again it was not the price I was concerned with but the time he could get it. I was refuse to deal with such ignorance!

I had the best experience with these two guys. I had to replace my daughters iPad 2 screen. I asked them how long it would take and they said it would be a couple of hours because of the dented corner as well. Picked it up at the time quoted and its like brand new. Best price in town too! Very happy with the service I received here! My iPhone 6 crashed face down on a tile floor, which shattered the screen like a spider web. Dropped my phone off on my lunch hour to be fixed. They said they needed an hour, so I just came and got it after work. The phone was ready, but there was a glitch with the fingerprint recognition function when I came to get it and they fixed that right away at no extra charge. Only took about 5 minutes. Things works like new now!! The guys are super friendly too. I will definitely tell friends in need to go here!!

Two years ago, they fixed a broken glass on my daughters Note 3 for half the price that the chain store was asking, and they did it the same day. Now my sons phone needs a repair, and Im going back to them. I prefer to support a local shop, especially when they do a good job for a good price.Update: Wife dropped off the phone, and they called within an hour with an estimate thats exactly what I was expecting. I went a few years too long bragging about never cracking my phone screen. Last Tuesday, it finally happened. My screen was shattered to pieces. I knew I couldnt leave my phone like this too long as glass pieces were falling out, so I found the closest cellphone repair company and hoped for the best.CPR is located one block from my office in uptown, which is so convenient. I dropped my phone off at 9 when they opened and Jon said it would be ready in an hour. I came back and lunch, and it was as good as new!Hopefully I will never have to replace my phone screen again (sorry) but if I do, I will come here for sure.p.s. To be clear, this is located inside the Latta Arcade building.

I dropped my Galaxy III off on a Thursday and was told the part was already ordered and I would have the phone back by Saturday or Monday at the latest. I left my phone as a deposit and came back on Monday and the very strange guy who runs the place told me that the mail had not come in since Friday and he had no tracking information for the piece he had ordered.He even mentioned how odd this was and I told him that I wanted my phone back because I didnt trust him or his business anymore. After I told him I might take my business elsewhere, I stood at the counter and waited for him to offer to assist me and he had nothing to say except, I will have no use for this part now and then turned away to sulk.I literally had cash on hand to give to him for his service but his lack of professionalism and ability to handle customer service made it painfully clear I should avoid his business and I suggest you all do the same.

I have used Charlotte Cell Repair twice now. The first time was to repair a cracked screen on my MotoX, this last time was to replace an old battery. Due to some complications Ive had to take the phone back in. Jon, the manager has been great to work with. His last words are always whatever it takes, well make it right. I have taken phones to other places in the past where inexperienced people have done sloppy work, then just shrugged their shoulders as they took my money. I will not ever use any other cell repair company.

These guys are great. very laid back, and they want to get it right! They replaced my screen on my iPhone 5s, and it developed a small crack that I didnt notice till the next day. I returned it and they immediately ordered another screen. When I went to pick it up, they told me they were not satisfied with the after market glass they put on, and ask if it was ok that they order another screen from another supplier. They called me when the new screen arrived and got it fixed in like 20 minutes. A++ and thanks for handling adversity in my favor!

This was a horrific experience. I went in to get my cracked screen fixed and was instructed to return in 30 minutes to retrieve my phone. Once I went to pick my phone up, I was told that my phone was no longer working. Instead of being considerate of my time and the situation, I continued to sit in the waiting area as they threw numerous excuses in my face and continued to try and pin the blame on my and my phone, instead of owning up to the mistake that they had made during the repair, and for an additional hour and fifteen minutes as continued to try and fix my now broken phone. I was given a half broken temporary phone (it didnt even have a home button, wouldnt hold a charge, and I could only talk to people on the phone if it was on speaker phone) and instructed to go home for about an hour and when I returned, my phone would either be fixed or they would replace it. HOWEVER, when I returned in an hour I found that they had closed the store and had gone home for the evening. So I was stuck with a phone, that was not mine and was half broken, for another day until I demanded they fix the issue ASAP due to my phone being an absolute necessity for work. Only then did they fix the issue and replace my phone. This was an incredibly unprofessional approach and incredibly inconvenient experience. I highly recommend going ANYWHERE else.

It was a very good experienceUpdatethe first time they fixed the screen it stopped working two days after we recieved the phone, we took the phone back to CPR and they kept the phone for 4 days but at least the screen was fixed. Then when we got home that night we discovered that the microphone doesnt work!! This is very irritating and frustrating, this was supposed to just be a simple screen swap but now I have to go back to these guys AGAIN to figure out what they did wrong.Update 6/5/18After a few trips to them my husbands phone is finally fully operational and although it was frustrating to have to make multiple trips to them Jon was pleasant and willing to help everytime. I appreciate his professionalism and great attitude, he was always super helpful and I gotta give him his kudos! 💯

Charlotte Cell Phone Repair is literally my lifesaver! Im one of those who cant manage not to crack my screen...and always find repairing it myself preferable to cell phone insurance claims...where your deductible is $200 even though you pay for insurance and get a refurbished phone that always has issues. Before I found them, I took my phone to the Apple Store, tried fixing myself, and a bad experience with another screen repair location in Charlotte--all of which were a crazy wait, way more expensive, or a crappy fix. Charlotte Cell Phone Repair has done four repairs for me now (over the course of a few years) and they are always speedy, courteous, and solve all my issues. One time, I was running late to pick my phone up and these guys literally kept the store open a bit later for me so I wouldnt have to go without--they really bent over backwards for me! They have saved my butt plenty of times now and I would never trust anyone else to do as good of job as them. Thanks you guys!
