Bought a brand new pair of ski pants here and they ripped within 20 minutes of being on the mountain. Was told they were a solid pair and fine for skiing, so I was very disappointed with the poor quality. Would recommend going elsewhere if youre looking for good gear.

Mike was incredible knowledgeable and helpful in getting us Floridians ready for our first snowboarding adventure. Good selection, decent prices, and even better humans! Highly recommend stopping in!

I recently rented a pair of skis from Alpine. To keep the story short my girlfriends skis had a small problem so I talked to the manager Adam Huffman. After hearing my story and realizing the issue, he quickly understood the pain we had been through and made an respectful effort to help us out. I just wanted to say the staff here are good people and are understanding. I will be doing my future renting from alpine, I suggest you do the same!

My friend brought me here yesterday to shop for gear for my first ski trip next month. Everyone was extremely friendly and very helpful. The woman who helped me was very patient and gave me somegreat tips for my first time skiing. Will definitely be back. Also a plus that I will be able to rent my beginner ski gear from here! ☺️

Dont ever buy boots from here. I got fitted for boots from here by their so-called experts. Then I got made fun of all by all my friends that knew better. Even though I told them Im a black east, blue west level skier, they sold me 70 series boots that were designed for an eight-year-old. When I took them back and asked them about it, they doubled down on how they thought that was a good idea. Do yourself a favor and buy boots only from a real ski shop out west that knows what theyre talking about.

Should be made I to a Historic Site by the City, State and Feds. Been shopping there for 35 years! Tonight, a super nice guy named Tyler treated me like I was the last customer on Earth. Like a friend. Service has always been good here, but I think Basil and Tyler are taking it to another level!

Called to inquire about snow bib rentals. Was told they do so I drove across town only to be told they dont do that anymore. Funny how another employee tried to rent the items to me while in the store, but he was overruled. Bad customer service and I would never recommend this place. 1st time customer who will never return

Brought in a new pair of boots that were given to me. Cant say enough of how good I was treated with the adjustment & molding of the liners. Chris made my experience there a pleasure. His honesty, knowledge, & professional attitude are the strengths of this ski shop.

The guys at rental are so inefficient. We waited in the shop for 30 minutes when there were only two persons in front of us. Everything for sale is overpriced.

Service was friendly (hence 2 stars), brought my skis here to get tuned and waxed before heading to Utah. Whoever put them through or hand tuned them either didn’t know how to use the machine properly or shouldn’t have been hand tuning. They skied so horribly (Grabby base and bad edges) I had to have them re-tuned in Utah. Don’t bring your gear here to be serviced unless you like doing it twice.

Friendly staff and excellent help. Im going to give these guys 4 stars. They are good people and will help you out. I had bought a board and bindings over the summer and now it is the winter and Im gearing up for the mountains, I started adjusting my bindings and come to find out they set them up backwards. A board with a dedicated heal side, they mounted the toe side in that direction. I still recommend shopping with these guys.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional, unfortunately they dont carry the gnu binding and board I was looking for in stock but they have plenty of other options from all the Mervin brands so you can see and feel the construction, materials and build quality and they give you a discount if you order something from them that they dont keep in stock, I think this is a great idea to keep people shopping local without the burden of having to carry every single sku from a manufacturer in your store and possibly tying up crucial money and to keep operating costs low.I was very close to ordering the bindings I wanted online but I will be giving my Buisness to this long time local shop.

Update...Still love and recommend Alpine. Theyve just helped me get a great deal on gear for my younger son too. Always call them first! They are better than shopping online.Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff...they are concerned about helping the customer, not making just trying to make a sale. They took time and helped me with my boots, not expecting me to purchase anything. Were happy to purchase our gear here. Plus, the prices are competitive to or better than online shops.

Ive been coming here for well over 15 years and will continue to come here. they have the best selection of gear this side of the slopes. and even have a few discs on the wall in the back (if you like to disc golf)!

Here again and as always, amazing service, great warranty procedures and care. Prices are pretty decent, some seem flat with MSRP but they make up with it with their sales. I love them.

I love spending my money here because I know I’m not being overcharged or having services done that are not needed. They could’ve charged me $147 for tuneups on three sets of skis but only charged $61 because that’s all the tuneup they needed. That’s integrity. Also they helped me fit my boots a little better and charged me nothing for it for the second time. Thirdly I drove up from Columbia and they bumped me in front of their other duties so I didn’t have to drive back up a separate day to collect my skis. Top notch!!!

HORRIBLE service, poor selection and HIGH prices. We walked in the store and 2 young guys were sitting up at the front counter doing nothing. They gave us a cursory greeting and never offered to help us while we were in the store. We finally had to walk up to the front counter to ask one of them to help us in the shop area. The guy that came back was so disinterested while “helping” us that it was basically rude. We ended up buying something, but not everything we needed. While checking out, the guy who had attempted to “help” us earlier was looking down at his phone the whole time and the other guy was equally disinterested. All I can say is that the owner of this place is missing sales with the low selection (Men’s ski jackets and pants specifically) and being taken advantage of by these lazy jerks that work there.

For those of you looking for Ski Equipment, Rentals, or anything in between, highly recommend Alpine Ski Center be your first stop. Ask for Eric Huston(rental/repair dept. mgr.). Eric is fantastic, extremely knowledgable and really cares about your Ski/outdoor experience! Great guy, good service and will make sure you are treated very well.

We stop in here just about every time we are in the area. Very good selection of ski gear, ski jackets and friendly staff. Id recommend stopping in and at least looking around. Been in business for years. Have bought quite a bit of items over the years.

Excellent staff! For me, a company (owners) is represented by its employees actions and demeanor. Late yesterday evening I was welcomed and assisted by Ms. Margaret finding bibs with a kind explaination of where everything was located. At first arrival, I was only getting bibs, and then wait to rent my equipment at the mountain. However, after getting more guidance from another staff member (a rad male wearing a beanie hat) I decided to look at rentals. Keep in mind it was almost time to close. Wow! I met this kindest soul ever, Eric. Truly a force of nature with everything. It is amazing how people have gifts that come from a place in the soul that they may not even be aware of. What a Awesome soul he has. I gained more than ski gear (a huge passion of mine) but a small glimpse into someone’s life and how a higher power was working through him. I’ll wrap up. These guys treat you like family, I had an issue with special order bindings but Alpine Ski Center really went out of their way and made up for that. I couldn’t recommend them enough, if you’re a skier or snowboarder this is the place.

Since there arent many ski/snowboarding places in the area, this is definitely a go-to for any snow enthusiasts. Tune-ups are very reasonably priced and staff is very friendly. Their gear selection isnt that great, but Im sure they can order stuff in, if you know what you are looking for.

Ive rented skis here a couple of times to avoid the long rental lines at Beech and Sugar. Great prices and easy to work with.

I googled this shop before driving 20 minutes to do some Christmas shopping there. Dont go by the store hours on google because you will surely waste your time if it is after 6pm. Huge bummer driving there and back to find out they dont close at 9pm. Keep your online resources updated please!
