I bought a pair of shoes from here at approximately 2pm, I put them on for the first time (for a wedding), and upon walking into the building, the bottom came completely apart. I had to shuffle my foot all the while. Now Im gonna wear Nike slippers for the reception

The man who owns this place is rude and discriminatory. Do not come here go support Halloway’s or K&G they have the best suits and pricing for your hard working money. The guy doesn’t allow you to try any suit jackets or pants and gives no exchanges or refunds. Do not come here it is very overpriced and when asking for a specific color of suit the man is colorblind and tries selling you cheap materials for overpriced suits. When buying his suit he tells you what he wants to see you in and doesn’t listen to you about your tastes. The man is argumentative and ignorant for a salesman or an owner. Good luck

Very over priced clothes but a lot of special pieces. A lot of hand made in Nepal type stuff. So it was very interesting to look around. Definitely worth a trip!!!!!

Ive gone a few times and the customer service is horrible. They dont allow refunds or exchanges...and you cant try on anything...which means no sale for me. The guy who assume is the owner wasnt friendly or helpful. Shame...because they had a few nice items

I am baffled as to why the black community patronizes this business. The owner is rude, condescending and extremely disrespectful. The young lady that works there is absolutely wonderful. In fact, the owner needs to take some lessons in customer service from her. However, after having to deal with the owner who sits up front, I completely forgot to ask her name.I had a very unpleasant experience with this same person 2 years ago and made it a point not to return to the establishment.Unfortunately, I was placed in the position where my options were few, time was running out and I didnt have time to make the purchase online so I decided to try this business once again, hoping that the first encounter could be chalked up to a bad day!Lo and behold, I encountered the same person with the same rude, disrespectful, condescending behavior, who tries to make you feel as though he is doing you a favor by allowing you into his establishment.I am more than positive that I am not the only person who has encountered this behavior and it is time that someone called attention to how he treats his customers!It is businesses like this, that do not deserve to benefit from the hard earned dollars of the black community. I believe the black community should boycott this store until this person learns to respect his customers and show some gratitude for them patronizing the business.PLEASE!!!!! Take your money and business elsewhere to an establishment that welcomes and appreciates you as a customer.Fashion Warehouse will never receive another penny of my money and I pray that you dont give them yours until he adjusts his nasty attitude.

I accidentally came across this store while out bargain hunting. I was satisfied to find some very unique pieces at reasonable prices. The store is jam packed with inventory and you have to take your time and really search through the racks. I give this star 4bout of 5 stars. It is a neat place to shop if you are in the market for something authentically urbane and African.

I have always been greeted graciously and treated as a consumer rather than being mistreated or judged by the color of my skin. The owner is very kind and offers products for all your teens and adults within any house. They have very beautiful African attire and beautiful Sunday suits as well. If you are looking to purchase outfits for the mass choir or group, this is the place to shop and if he does not have it, he will order it.

I have bought hats here before, but never suits. Today wanted to buy a new suit for church and a new hat. Not knowing how the sizes of the different designers run, one needs to try the clothes on. Tried on 2 suits which the fit was not right. Returned them to the rack. The guy( maybe owner) grabs off the rack ranting about putting them back and to just hang them on the end. He actually grabbed 3 off the rack, one of which I didnt try on. He was fussing because it wasnt hung on the hanger properly. I again told him I didnt try that suit on. Then he says store policy is you can only try on 2 suits PER DAY. So I told him I would spend my money somewhere else. What kind of policy is that? Why would a business want to lose sales due to limiting a customer the opportunity to find the correct fit? Needless to say he lost out on $100-150 sale at least.

Wasnt greeted when walking in. Or looking around no one came over to help. Although they did have what we were looking for (reason for 2stars), I didnt purchase because of poor customer service. As I was leaving she did ask if I found everything ok. They are Oriental owned but sale African inspired product. Support your own.

Absolutely horrible! The owner has a very nasty attitude. My first visit, he was arguing with a man in the store. The second visit, he was on the phone when I walked in with my 6 and 8yr olds, and was cussing very loud. I had $400.00 to spend on birthday presents, and for Christmas. I was so discussed by his rude attitude when asked questions about clothing that has no price. Most of the items are catered to African Americans, and he treats us like we are beneath him. I WILL NEVER GO IN THERE AGAIN! If they were the last clothing store in Charlotte, I would make my own clothes. Its not worth being treated like that. If he is there when you go...good luck. He cant get a penny of my money!

I love this place. It has all the African wear that I need. From wraps to full skirts and sets. Even fashion for little kids here!

This place was an experience to go. I have only been there a couple of times and I liked it. I was able to find some cute things in this place but you have to be willing to put in some time and energy cause this place is very crowded. There was stuff all over the floor due to another shipment that came in but the owner and staff in there were cleaning everything up and they even stopped to answer my questions and help me. I say go to this store cause you will definitely like it. I dont go to this store often but when I do, I am never disappointed.

The man in the store was very rude. He yelled at my daughter for touching a tie when we first walked in. The store is overcrowded with clothes and you can barely walk around to view them. It was also hard to find sizes, many of the clothes didnt have tags. I wouldnt shop here again.

The owner is a Low-key Racist, he calls blk ppl names, and accuses all of them to be theives. Bros and Sisters dont not give this man yall money he does not respect you. But everything in his store targets the African American community.

Had the WORST experience here today. Whoever was in charge had to leave the store to go to the bank and we were asked to leave the store. When we returned he rushed us to purchase something until he finally asked us to leave and not return tomorrow. I will never ever step foot in that place again.
