I dont recommend people to shop or spend their money at Walmart... Its constantly packed ( they dont require customers to wear masks) during these times were living, its extremely dangerous just to shop at Walmart... On top of that, at Walmart its easy to spend your money but hard to return if theres an issue .... I bought a laptop ( once I got home, I couldnt get it to turn on 🙄) it was defective. However, when I took it back to Walmart ( on North Tryon street) the customer service cashier had attitude and acted as if I done something wrong. Bc of Walmart policy I had to return the item then buy it again, I said okay no problem. BUT then because I paid with debit I had to have the money sent back to my debit card, however that took 8 days 😳🤨!!!!! Walmart says it depends on your banking ( but thats not true, every other transaction Ive had returned back to my bank, I receive the same day at that moment. Ive NEVER HAD TO WAIT).... So I ended up having to go online to buy a laptop....( Because I refused to chance buying another laptop from Walmart).... I didnt even get an Apology, I left there feeling so hurt and upset but they showed me NOTHING yall... I couldnt believe how Walmart policy is set up to not care for their customers whatsoever, but yet taking our money and getting richer.... 🙄😶 Unbelievable and UpsettingIf I could I would give Walmart ZERO ⭐sAll of the stores.... B/C all of the stores are the same.....

This Walmart is HORRIBLE!!!! Never stocked up, lines backed up threw all the aisles because no registers are open.. If your looking for anything in particular, I wouldn’t go here because their not going to have it out on the shelves, if they even have it at all… Your not going to be able to run in and out because their so backed up… I could say a lot more but it’s to much… This store is just TERRIBLE all around!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Very busy store but the customer service from the store lead, Amber was very pleasant. They were short-staffed and I needed saw blades from the case. Without question and politeness, she stopped and assisted. Thumbs up Amber...

Walmart employees are not the best. That is what hurts Walmart. They are not trained in Customer Service. Customers pays the bills not Walmart, Customers pays everyone pays checks no matter where you work at. I am a training in Customer Service. Better stocked Walmart than other Walmarts I’m visited

For Walmart standards, this location is awesome!They are very short staffed and have long lines in the evening, but it is usually worth the wait unless I get in a rush.Everything appears fresh and clean.Private Security is a Plus!Also, I always get a strong cell phone signal even in the back of the store, unlike other Walmart’s.They always have a wide variety of quality and affordable Charlotte University products.

I love there self check out it moves pretty quick. Great prices. I always buy more than I came for every time.

I went to this store to buy my son underwear. I rarely go to this store. So I was unaware that underwear is locked up. I hit the bell and waited about 15 minutes. Then I decided to go to Target about a mile away. I had no problem in quickly accessing and purchasing the item there.

Lines are horrible. Wal mart should be ashamed having people wait in line like they do no matter what time of day or night you go in there. Shelves are empty for things you need. Just a bad experience all together everytime you go in there. They need to let their human cashiers work more than they do.

Aubrey, one of the managers was very rude when I was trying to exchange an airbed that was marked down from the original price I paid. Aubrey was extremely impatient and tried to walk away from me and take the next customer. I then asked her to please be patient and dont be rude to me while I try to figure what I was going to do about purchasing a new airbed. Audrey then called for security after she was rude to me. Aubrey is horrible at customer service as well as a poor role model as a manager and I will be reporting Aubrey further...

Very crowded and not many people wore mask. Even if your fully vaccinated, you should still mask up because you don’t now who has COVID. Sign said m..Fully vaccinated people are not required to wear mask.. BAD SIGN. You don’t know who is fully vaccinated. I dint recommend these establishments

Oh, the hustle and bustle of getting in and out of this store is always a challenge. It takes about 7 minutes to grab what I need and about 27 minutes in line. They have about 7-8 self checkout lanes on each end of the register area and only 2 with a cashier. Either way you choose to check out, you’re going to be stuck like chuck. Obviously, a good customer experience is not a priority for them.

Place is pretty big! Lots of friendly employees. Plenty of sanitizing stuff to clean the carts.. no mask no problem.. they will give you one at the entrance!!

This particular Walmart didnt have any handicap carts available for my Aunt to get around in the store. The womens bathroom was just disgusting. Wasnt cleaned! They did have other items that were needed at a good price.

Coming in from the right side if youre facing Wal-Mart, there was a bit of traffic to get into the parking lot. If youre in a hurry, this one isnt the one to go to. Once inside there were no carts on the right side of the store and on the left side, the carts that were there were broken. I saw one costumer walk outside to get one, I just stuck with the one that had the rattling wheel. As far as shopping goes pretty crowded almost bumped into a couple of people. Check out was by far the fastest part.

When I did my morning walk, I found an iPhone in the parking lot. I returned later to give it to them. Everything smelled so good my granddaughter and I decided to get lunch there.

This is a Walmart on North Tryon its very dirty everything is locked up and you cant get nobody to open the case I stood there for almost an hour and a half just waiting on somebody to open a case to get a toothpaste. Their pharmacist is very nice and professional thats why Im giving them one star.

Normally would not give this store a good rating. I stopped shopping there for a while but had to go back… it was closer. I had to order grocery online and pick up. I can say this time my experience was better. The employee named SHY packed and delivered my groceries to the pickup line. He was very professional and patient with me. He loaded everything and when there was not enough room in the trunk he asked if it was ok to place in the back seat. I really appreciate his service. Thanks again SHY!!

This North Tryon Street Walmart is fantastic! Everything was very easy to find! The employees were extremely nice and eager to help! They went out of their way to get me a small cart instead of a big one and went out of their way to try to help me find a coat for my kiddo! Some awesome employees here are Adrienne in loss prevention, Kahza who works in the clothing section and the night manager, Tonya! I am a former Walmart assistant manager and I’m impressed! One of the best Walmart stores I’ve ever visited!

By far my worst experience . I placed an order for grocery deliver on SUNDAY JULY 25 between 12pm-1pm.....IT IS NOW MONDAY JULY 26TH @ 415 AND NO GROCERIES....Ive called and called and called and called was transferred to then be hung up on....1st I was told they were backed up no notification no call no update on the app .So l had to physically go to the store myself a nice young man retrieved all of my items (while in a boot as he was coming back from being gone due to surgery) within 20 min..Originally not only was my order delivered and they stated 10 of the items I needed were out of stock def need to have ppl working there that come to work...hanging up on customers or just avoiding a concern is enough for me not to shop at this location I enjoyed not having to leave my home but after this experience looks like ille just do like I normally would and go and get my own..if you want something done right then do it yourself....After arriving I got EVERYTHING I ASKED and called that same customer service for my refund...SHOP AT THIS LOCATION AT YA OWN RISK....

Very dirty in comparison to the one in Concord. The floors were filthy. The Concord Wal-Mart isnt spotless but its much cleaner than this one. The meat section was a joke. There were a lot of empty shelves. Its like they dont care about this store at all. The Concord Wal-Mart has huge self check out sections. One group is for full baskets, the other section is for smaller amounts. Why hasnt this one been set up the same way? At the 7735 N. Tryon, most of the self check out lanes lanes werent open and the ones that were had a long line. I prefer to check myself out because the cashiers can be careless with bagging and ringing up stuff one too many times but I didnt have much choice today. I went to this one because it is closer but Ill stick to Concord from now on.

You have to go when they restock high demand they dont have everything somethings are in the back. One girl named Gloria was heck of rude. But this other lady was super nice. These staff work really hard. High demand places.

The last 10 times Ive been there no shipping carts, yet workers standing around and talking. The in-stocks are horrible here, so many item not available. The Walton family needs to spend some of their billions and put it into the stores

This place was ghetto. So much stuff locked up so people wouldnt steal it. They were out of all kinds of merchandise. The produce was pretty good.

It’s fine and all. But the guys have to restock new release blu ray because I had to look for one in a different wal Mart but I don’t know why these guys are not having a back up plan to restock new release blu ray but they got to restock it and I had to buy one in Amazon or Best Buy which it’s far.

Normally very good experiences but today around 8:30 we were checking out at line #2 and our cashier was a short middle aged woman with blonde hair and glasses. Everything was normal until the ticket came out to be over $100 dollars and that was weird because we only bought a few items and none were over $10 since it was just dish soap and canned goods. We asked her if she had scanned the items wrong and she got passive aggressive and snatched the receipt from my hands and she did indeed make a mistake. Instead of apologizing or offer to fix her mistake, she shrugged us off nonchalantly to go to customer service which was already closed. In the end the young lady at self checkout helped me get back like $60 the other lady wrongfully charged. It was just so unpleasant dealing with her attitude.

I didnt give s 5 Star it was terrible no bags the young woman told me they were out. I asked if she had some on the other side. A consumer brought some from the other side Supervisor NO knowledge or control she didnt care if a consumer had issues or not. This Walmart needs someone to get the store in order. I am sure I am not the first review. The owners should check out how Walmart is being operated. Seriously...

This place seems to be bigger than other facilities in Charlotte. Easy to find things due to its layout. The number of in person counters open for checkout are relatively more than what I have seen in other stores.

The problem no one came to the car and didnt ask to help my customer. This was Wal-Mart supercenter in concord, of Highway 29.

I was able to charge my Tesla with no wait.

Worst Walmart NA.- Empty shelves where product should be.- Carts are never available.- Error 404 Walmart helper cannot be found.

If you want a decent Walmart to shop at I recommend going here. This place literally has everything from groceries to clothing. Theres even a bank and a McDonalds on the inside. Better selection of products in grocery section than your average grocery store. I wouldnt go here during peak hours though.

Last night was the straw that broke the camels back. I do not go to Wal-Mart to shop for my groceries, wait for about a half an hour in line, and work to check myself out and bag my groceries. I do not think that Sam would be happy with this. Is gaining profits that important?

The staff wasn’t really helpful and truly didn’t care to help. I try to avoid coming here as much as possible. I drive to further locations just so I can feel “at peace”. This is an ok location for a quick in and out trip because you already know where things are, remember help is scarce.

Hoping to find some beach shelter. Associate was nice and patient in explaining what they have, canopies that are more suited for the Piedmont.

Don’t do, just don’t even think about going here. Walmart’s in general are always a headache, but this one in particular seems to want to out do them all. Grocery Pick Up always takes atleast 30 minutes to an hour of waiting. The store is never clean. Just save yourself a trip and go to Target. You’re welcome in advanced.

Tried to pick up a batch order for Uber. 5 orders. Worker refused to release the orders unless I took more which I don’t have addresses for and am not getting paid for. Lost $40 in revenue and all the orders had to be canceled and none of the items were delivered to the customers.

Had a wonderful time shopping at this beautiful wall mart. The little old Lady gave us smiley face stickers on our way in and Ill t tell you what that may made our day. After sticking those stickers on our shirts nothing could ruin our day. When we finally paid and headed out to our car. Our car was nowhere to be found. But you know what thats a ok. Having this smiley face sticker on my shirt all I can do is smile. So thank you for a great experience and enjoy our vehicle whoever took it!

Going in the morning is the best time for me because of the low traffic in the area and in Walmart. I went in there looking for hangers but I didnt find what I was looking for; however, I found something better!

I I always shop at Walmart and I bought a TV I was so excited but when I got the television at home it didnt work so I immediately took it back and they said that I stole it didnt give me no new TV I couldnt even exchange it they claim me to be a thief I had to call him please I had a bad experience at Walmart but the amazing part about it is they wouldnt even give me a refund but again the amazing party is did I go back at the same store and shop every month I have forgiveness in my heart that was a terrible experience the TV was 500 dollars no no new TV say I wasnt thief and Im not a thief and I still go back in the shop because I forgiven so that was my experience

Poor selection. Most of the inventory was in shipping boxes that littered the aisles. Anything of value was locked behind plexiglass with signs that say contact associate for assistance. A lot of the products in the store had been opened/ tampered with (thus the plexiglass I suppose). We visited this store at night and in the parking lot our car was approached by someone asking for money. Wont return.

Honestly, it’s awful. I just moved here and every time I come here there’s NO shopping carts. I have to put items in my purse so my fingers don’t lose circulation?????? Each check out line has about 15 -20 people (when there’s only 3). Self checkout line goes WAY into the produce. Customer service is even worse, people leaving the counter then cutting line 10 minutes later. Shelves are empty middle of the week, Monday’s, you name it. Never coming here again lmaooooo

You feel like a criminal just walking into this place. Security gates right after the doors, everything is locked up and requires assistance in order to get it off the self and seriously lacking in check out personnel!! Please hire more people and trust your customers. I will be doing my best to avoid.

I am becoming less and less impressed with Walmart at the University. The store is no longer stocked, its hard to find or receive help. One other customer and I waited over 30 minutes after calling for help in the paint department and no onecame, in the checkout line the cashier was very rude. There were children running around in the store with shopping carts, (didnt see an adult). After what I went through a few days ago, I really dont think I will be visiting that store again. Very, very disappointed.

The store has a problem with theft, their way of dealing with it is to lock most products up. They have no more employees than a Walmart with less products behind lock & key making you wait for an employee to maybe show up then when they do question you on your purchase.Also had products ringing up with different price than what was on the shelf 40% more at the register than advertised price.If youre ok with a store assuming you are a criminal as soon as you walk in shop here otherwise avoid this store.

Came into Walmart today to find a simple beach chair. We weren’t able to locate them so we asked a woman in uniform for help. She responded by pulling her face mask down, coughing, and stating “are you being serious or do you just want to talk? I’ll give you a chance to look before asking me again” and walked away. This was at the university city Walmart in Charlotte NC. This is why we choose target over Walmart and continuing doing so with service like this.

Customer service needs to be addressed. My recent visit was not pleasant if youre going to lock things up you should expect people to walk to the check out counter and ask for assistance.

Over the past months this Walmart has turned into a real disaster. If its not for convenience I dont recommend this Walmart at all. There is no order at all, the lines are endless, everything is unorganized and never stocked, and overall the staff is rude and careless. Never returning.

Do not order for grocery delivery from this location. There is no organization and the drivers are having to wait 45 mins just to pick up an order which means high cancellation rates. Completely unacceptable. With as many ppl they have standing around doing nothing there is no excuse. Horrible management

The only good thing I can say was the cashier was friendly. Store was disorganized and shelves were empty like it was going out of business. Could not find many things I was hoping to buy. Disappointed 🙄

I did not care for the food it wasnt seasoned it was very bland. The guacamole was great it was made fresh and the chips were warm and crisp. Both servers were very nice.

It’s full with people all time throughout the day. They always have stock a using the app finding stuff in different aisles is easy.. The returns section also during the day has moderate traffic.

Rarely use this location. You don’t feel safe. You have homeless people going through the parking lot, sitting on the sidewalks, carts are horrible, can’t hardly find a cart to use for your groceries. Parking lot is unkept.

Went to the McDonalds located inside. Cleary not major focus area. Overall food was as expected..but service was just a tad less engaging. I saw two different people that did not seem overjoyed. The employee at the counter was not exceptionally attentive but performed adequately for the most part..Not a slam, just and observation
