Sales lady was rude, did not seem interested in helping me. I wanted to customize a name plate and was told they couldn’t not do it in store, which is fine. But I was asking if I could see the difference between the types of gold options before I ordered so I could be sure that’s what I wanted. She talked over me telling me she had nothing for me to compare the different types of metal. She finally brought me one example of a gold type and then kind of hurried me away. She didn’t even recommend any other options that I could do in store. I went to Kay jewelers next door and had a great experience!
Never again !!!!! My husband bought my set there and the SAME DAY a diamond fell out..He did buy mine online through them, I called and they told me I would have to return both of them and give me the money back and Ill have to rebuy them. I took my ring to Kays and they fixed it ... I keep going there now on.
I made my payments on time and I had a balance of $389.45. The bill came from 1,936.39 . Supposedly I was in a promotional offer. They are charging me interest of the 18 month already paid and not the remaining balance of $389. I called to see if I could pay the full amount of $389.45 and they didn’t agree. They are charging me interest of the 18 months that I pay on time and not the current balance of $389. So basically my bill went up from $389 to 1,000+ I don’t recommend because went I bought it they wasn’t to specific that I have to paid the full balance. I wish the could work it out with me, but they didn’t.
WOW! let me tell you...my experience with this store and staff was amazing. From the moment me and my fiance went into the store the staff was nothing but kind and helpful. They helped us pick a beautiful ring and were able to make it fit into my budget. Vanessa (the manager) was extremely knowledgeable and genuinely seemed just as excited as i was about picking a ring for us
Worker discouraged the purchase of a ring, to be an engagement ring, because it was a fashion ring. I have never been so disgusted by an employees behavior in my LIFE. Ruined a young coupless big day for the sake of her commission.
Great place for an item of jewelry. Received help from Vanessa tonight 6/19 and everything was a breeze. She took great care of handling everything and was a genuinely nice person. Will definitely be going here again for my next piece of jewelry.

I absolutely love shopping here! The salespeople are so friendly and helpful! I went to one of the custom shows there and was able to design a new pendant using my grandmothers diamond with help from Vanessa and watched as it was remounted and was able to take it home with me! So nice to have knowledgeable salespeople. Zales is the ONLY place I purchase my fine jewelry.
I had been looking for a duplicate of my wedding band that Ive had for 4 years so That I may have double bands surrounding my engagement ring. Initially I was browsing because my Husband and werent in a position to buy the band out right and we were even less inclined to finance it . However after two wonderful sales associates informed my husband and I about their leasing program I was able to purchase the ring and put the purchase on my Husbands credit after it is paid off in full in a few short payments.
Terrible customer service at this location. Had stopped in wanting to purchase a wedding band that had to be ordered and the sales associate was to call me back with a price. 1 week passed I never heard anything so I stopped back by the store again to find out the sales associate had lost my information. Funny how this is possible when I am in their system from other purchases I had made with Zales. Gave every excuse in the book. I gave him my information once again to contact me with a price and was promised a call back the by the next business day. Of course a week passed and I never heard anything once again. Ended up ordering the ring from the Hickory, NC location where I was given great customer service. Definitely need some training on customer service and sales training at this location. If this happened to me twice I can guarantee this is happening to other customers at this location costing you business. Spoke to the manager at this location the 2nd time I never received a call and was blown off. Will never buy from this location.
Came tonight with a friend to get a ring, the lady was rude and condescending, she had a RBF the whole time. I’ve worked in retail, I understand what it’s like but it makes me as a customer not want to recommend or walk in.
Wow why buya replacement plan just to be told I have to send it in to get it fixed because of the virus...lost a customer there could of just took my necklace and gave me a new one ...

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Called them 10 times to cancel a order but nobody is interested or know what to do. Never ever shopping here or recommending to anyone . Alice and Vanessa I wish you guys had some more training and skills to handle your customers.

My experience was great from being turned down by Kay jewelry to coming to this location with better selections and getting rings better than I dreamed of. These ladies help me and my fiancé pick out great choices and didn’t let us leave without being satisfied. Also they also kept me updated on any changes or questions I had. I would shop here again!
The manager was very rude he not only didnt greet the customer that entered the store he gave them a look as though why are you in here. He was with a customer and her husband the whole time. My son asked the manager a question. The Husband was rude by saying we got to wait our turn. Thank God the situation didnt go any further we just simply went to Kays. We entered the store to make an exchange, but how I was treated. I returned my 250.00 bracelet and went across to Kays and was treated very nice, and they got 30% off because of Mothers Day! But we will never order anything from Zales in the store or online. Ever again...
I went with my sister to buy a necklace set for my mom, I felt like they were ignoring us because they were attending other people first even though they arrived after us. However, after 20 mins waiting a lady came to help us we liked a pearl set and the pricetag said $129.99 we liked it and told her that we will get it, while we were going to the register she told us we could add insurance for $29.99. Once we were in the register she said without apologizing that the price was $199.99 for the set and that the insurance was $69.99, we asked if at least she could respect the $29.99 price on the insurance because I was expecting to spend no more than $250 and she was so rude that responded this is not a clothing store were we have to respect the pricetag or use a coupon. We were so mad because the manager was close to her and didnt say a word that we just left.
Terrible customer service, takes forever to get your jewelry back. Never answer the phone and when they do you sit on hold. Wont purchase from here again.

I have a ring guard which is basically two diamond bands connected and you put your engagement ring in the center of it. Whenever I have work on it the jeweler closes it very tight so that my thin engagement ring barely fits. Normally I ask them to open it for me and they use a tool. This time the dumb moron slammed my expensive engagement ring into it scratching my engagement ring, which was not purchased at this trash store. I will be trying another Zales for future work on the ring guard. This one is awful! Makes me wish we did not purchase anything from zales.
I love the Zales company and the fact that despite my ring being seriously destroyed (I still don’t know how) my protection plan covered the repairs. With that said, this location just gained three strikes in one shot. The store manager, Vanessa, called and left a message that my ring was ready for pick up. Only the wrong name is on my ring. As someone who worked in retail for over 10 years, I know customer service protocol but I can’t say the same for her. She never apologized for the wrong name being on my order and then tells me I have to answer my phone in front of whosever working to prove they have the right owner even though they screwed up. I’m not sure how my number and ring got matched with someone else but I do know if I have any issues at pick up, I will be contacting her district manager. I’ll stick with the Concord location from now on even if it is farther away.
My mother got jewelry from there all the time and she bought this blue diamond and diamond ring and one of the diamonds fell out so she had them send it off to replace the diamond. The repair ended up costing more than the ring so she declined the repair and they sent it back to the store. When she went to pick it up from the store, she noticed that 3 diamonds were missing instead of just the one that was missing when she gave it to them to send off. They acted like they had no record or information of how many diamonds were missing when she gave it to them. She ended up having to take the loss but vowed never to buy jewelry from there again. Dont shop there and definitely dont let them send your jewelry off for repairs they are a bunch of crooks.
I had two diamond rings made this year at Zales and the Assistant Manager to be condescending, rude and unprofessional. She refusedto return phone calls on multiple occasions to my husband. The reason she said she did not need to return his calls was because he was not the customer. Funny you would think the person who placed the order andwas paying for it would be considered a customer? Her tone when we didspeak to her was rude and condescending. After their making a mistake on the design of one of the rings my purchase was moved back to the bottom of priority to start the process over and was left waiting several additional weeks. One would expect that if a mistake was made the store would try to make up time and try to make up for their mistake. Not Zales your put right at the bottom to start the process over again. Found working with Zales to be one of the most frustrating purchases I have ever made.
