I went to the Northlake location to purchase my husband a birthday gift. When looking for a special hat I encountered a rude young man with Tattoos on his arm that was not helpful in assisting me with information about getting my husband hat personalized. He was not interested in helping me and wanted to finish his personal call with his earpiece in his ear. I asked him who was the manager and he said he was the assistant manager! After he told me this information, I asked for a refund and took my business elsewhere! I hope this young man gets the necessary training he needs to communicate with customers going forward or this will be another store that will be closed inside of Northlake Mall!

Im a faithful customer at LIDS and Ive gotten a lot of embroidery work done here, but Im disappointed and absolutely not satisfied with the last embroidery job I had done there. I showed the manager his work was crooked & not straight. His first reply was, Its your chest. I said, no its not me, its you. He wasnt very professional and I felt that that was a very hood & childish remark. When I come to lids I seek satisfaction, courtesy, and respect. At least the last manager offered to fix any bad work free of charge. This is unacceptable. I need more of these shirts done but Im not going back there for embroidery. Shame.

One of the most customer service oriented stores in Charlotte! Went with a snap back hat to get embroidered and Chris took his time finding the perfect color threads. Needless to say that the hat came out perfect! If you ever need anything just ask for Chris.

To the man that was working tonight at close, I commend you for your customer service and staying calm. Dont ever let sorry customers ruin your day!To the PUNK customer who was cursing and causing a scene in the middle of the store, since you design clothes, go embroider your own hats and stop being a worthless human being.

So last night I went for the Christian McCaffrey signing got their 2 hrs early, and not only did I not get an autograph or picture but I literally had to watch 2 15 yr old girls crying their eyes out because they didn’t get the chance to meet him. The signing was total disarray due to the incompetence of the staff, it was supposed to be from 7-8pm but yet they stopped the signing at 7:45 with just 15-20 people left who like me had been there for like 3 hrs. Then you got to watch people get thru the line who got there at 7:30 because they bought bracelets off people at the last minute, they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for the 20 people they left high and dry last night, I will never buy anything from Lids as long as I live...This place should be shutdown for all the Hearts they broke last night...This had to be the most deplorable action I’ve ever encountered from a business..They even had the audacity to try to discourage people by saying they had no chance of getting in, just so they could shorten the line and end it early to go home...This place should be boycotted and shutdown, when I saw the girls next to me crying all I was thinking was do these people even have a soul....

They were friendly and willing to help me even though I was a little picky I needed 30 hats in 4 days with multiple designs! Even with everything else they have going on they got it done!

I know in this day and age that being friendly to your customers is a thing of the past, but this store, knows how to treat their customers!
