Amazing, knowledgeable, and friendly service! I came in for tempur pedic pillows, but upgraded to sub zero softcell chill. As a side sleeper and a tired teacher, I needed the best they’ve got. I slept 11 hours straight. Woo! Best sleep I’ve had in years!

He really cared about finding the mattress that would help with my back and hip pain so that I could sleep better. I tried out at least 6 mattresses before settling on the one that he already knew would be the best fit for me, go figure. He is a Mattress Specialist!

Very helpful in helping me pick the right matress

I have to change my rate to 2 stars, after I gave them 5 originally, due to their after sale service. The pre sale and in-store experience was excellent. Roland is very knowledgeable and he has an amazing talent in exploring your needs and how to guide you to get the most suitable mattress. However, the after sale service was terrible. The company doesn’t honor or respect their 120 days price match guarantee. I found a great deal on the very same mattress on their own website but they didn’t accept to match it. One of their senior representatives that have to approve the price match kept pushing back and giving excuses for not matching the price that are far from being accurate or true despite the idea that I have provided them with clear evidence about the discounted price. I tried to get in touch with their customers service to complain about that but they were very slow in response. There is no quick or efficient way to get in touch with them. It took their representative 4 days to tell me at the end that he can’t help me because the offer had expired at that time although I provided him with screenshots clearly showing the offer that I found. It was a really bad experience.

We had been mattress shopping for 3 days when we found Mattress Firm. Barbara was friendly, low key and listened to what we wanted. Barbara showed us options within our budget and offered creative solutions for some of our challenges. The delivery/set up fee is the least expensive we found and the mattress set we fell in love with was $500 less at Mattress Firm. We were not pressured to apply for a credit card. I strongly recommend checking them out!

We enjoyed working with Zia at Mattress Firm in Charlottesville. We happened to land here after shopping for weeks for a mattress! We had been everywhere including high end mattress stores and Zia gave us a great experience for a great price. The only downside is the deal he got for us included some exchanged items and they do not honor the factory warranty on their returned items. While I understand the complications of it on the business end, as a consumer, I would like to feel that they would still stand behind their product after a thorough inspection before re-selling it to another consumer. However, we got 50% off of a VERY nice mattress and movable base that had been used only couple nights and then returned for financial reasons. Their loss was truly our gain at a savings of over $4,000! The mattress goes through a thorough cleaning and sanitization process. Truly the only frustration was that they would not honor the manufacture’s warranty of the movable base (which again, is understandable, but still frustrating as a consumer). Instead of the 25 year manufacture’s limited warranty, they gave us an in house 5 year Full coverage warranty at their expense (which I thought was still excellent customer service). We landed on the Tempur Probreeze Medium Hybrid with the Ergo Extend Base. Delivery is set for tomorrow, so I’ll update if anything goes funky after delivery and installation.

The woman who was working during the time I came in was beyond helpful. I really needed help getting my mattress delivered to my house and I needed it day of, which is not the easiest thing to do, when you come in on a random Saturday and it happens to be the day UVA students move back in. She helped me devise a plan for getting my mattress transported, and steered me in the right direction as to the right mattress to get. She was very patient and helped me make the right decisions between soft, medium, and firm. I love my new mattress!

They are nice in the store. The nightmare starts when your mattress is not good for you and you may want to return it after the first week. They have an awful customer service policy. They will try to charge you with new fees when you return the mattress to the store. Avoid this place and their customer service policies. It will be good for your pocket and good for your rest.

After returning two pillows from amazon, I finally decided to just take a chance and google pillow stores near me. Mattress firm immediately came up, and this location was the closest to me. I also didnt want to walk into a giant overwhelming store. This location is not intimidating at all, and the staff is not only extremely helpful but also very friendly. I was immediately greeted in a kind way, and given instant options. The employee who helped me was easy to talk to and ran all over the store to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. And all this service was just for a pillow, which leads me to believe that you would get the exact same service and more for a mattress. 10/10 experience for this location
