I was just visiting the area for a college tour, and decided to stop and get ice cream. I went in and the store looked kind of empty because they took away the seating for COVID, but I think there was somewhere to sit outside. The guy behind the counter was very friendly, and explained when I asked what the flavor chocolate therapy was. I decided to try it and it was heaven! I wish I lived closer to a Ben and Jerrys but maybe its for the best that I dont. I would definitely recommend this as a place to get ice cream. To rank it along other chains, I would say it is above Baskin Robbins to me, and I dont really think it is below anything besides ice cream places that I dont think are chains. Its really good!

Always enjoy a trip to Ben and Jerrys. I always find a new flavor to enjoy and today was no different. Todays pick was Coffee Buzz Buzz (coffee ice cream with expresso bean fudge chunks). My husband typically selects from a handful of tried and true favorites. His selection today was Half Baked. The inside of the store is currently closed but they have implemented a walk up window for cones, cups, shakes, and to pickup cake orders. One star deduction because it is higher priced than a couple of other local ice cream shops.

Expensive but definitely worth it! Quality is spot on, as expected with Ben & Jerrys! Plenty of options to choose from including dipped waffle cones and sundaes.Good clean location with super friendly staff.Definitely recommended!

It wasnt what I originally thought it would be like. There are really no descriptions of or pictures of their products to help you choose what you would like, especially with trying to decide for a child. One small scoop of strawberry in cup with hot fudge cost about $5, which I got for my 2yr old granddaughter. Staff was friendly but no real help with telling you about their product. One lady even had to get her order redone because employee did not get her simple order right and she was only customer there before me.

The products, as always, are great; this rating specificly pertains to the in-store service and antiquated online payment system.I am an admittedly obese ice cream cake connoisseur, and while I typically make and eat my own cakes, I do like buying BJs every once in a while (who doesnt). The cakes are great even if I have to pay a higher price to accommodate their inflated margins. What really grinds my gears, however, is how each purchase is accompanied with a coupon for $4 off your next purchase. Seems great, right?WRONG. It is a misleading ploy designed to beguile the unsuspecting consumer. After a delicious cake you want to go back for more, especially at a discount, but the coupon is not equipped with a coupon code and there is no place to mention that online. Can you call in your order? I tried that, and they simply tell you to order online.A rational consumer would abandon cart at this point. Unfortunately, as a self professed obese ice cream cake connoisseur, I just could not fathom going without BJs for another day. I mentioned my coupon in the notes, entered my CC info, and had faith they would take care of it on their end.I came into the store and saw my note printed out on the cake box. To confirm, I asked if they gave me the discount. They replied no: once a payment is taken online, they cannot issue a credit. Why would they not just call, cancel the original order, and create a new one on their end with the discount applied? Why would they offer a coupon that cannot be redeemed on their mandated ordering system? When I was in the store, why not offer a commensurate free ice cream scoop, if indeed the transaction was irreparable? Management had multiple opportunities to rectify the situation and either lacked the mental capacity or lacked the fortitude to resolve this horrific injustice.Some of you may read this and think its just $4, big deal. Nope, its the entire price of the cake (which would not have been purchased otherwise) PLUS the opportunity cost of not spending that money elsewhere. In my particular case, the opportunity cost was $40 worth of vegetables that could have saved my life and cured me from my obesity and imminent demise. Alas, no more BJs for me.

Had difficulty ordering online. Had to go to Grubhub. One order had two different flavors, which was not requested. Nothing was labeled was it was a challenge to figure out. Ice cream was very good once we determined what was in each box.

My husband and I went to the Charlottesville Ben and Jerry’s last night & not only was our ice cream great, but the young gentleman serving us was the greatest part of our experience. He was so polite and engaging. 10/10 on your staff! I rarely place reviews but we were thoroughly impressed.

If youve had Ben & Jerrys ice cream before, you know exactly what to expect from this place. Theyve got lots of different flavors to choose from, including some classics and newer ones Ive never seen before. It does suck that they dont serve certain flavors over the counter, like cinnamon bun, which you can only get if you buy a full pint from the freezer. Its also pretty pricey for what you get, but a large cup should be more than enough ice cream for most people. Its not the best ice cream in the world, but it still makes for a nice treat if youre headed towards Barracks Road.

The ice cream is wonderful. There are plenty of options and all of the favorites you might pick up in the grocery store. They also have great toppings and dipped comes! Staff was good, place was clean, and there was ample seating. The only demerit is the price. Its easy to spend over $7 per person for ice cream I could get in the same shopping center for cheaper

What can you say about a place like Ben & Jerrys? Its pure decadence. Their ice cream is amazing! Its not cheap, but if youre in an indulgent mood, Ben & Jerrys will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.

Family of 4, ate 4 waffle cone 2 scoops each costed $37.14.Credit card payment asking for the tips but no where to click no.The ice-cream was not bad, so I give 2 stars.

Received a coupon for this specific location that states buy any small or large portion and get a second of similar size for $1. No other restrictions listed. Get a large shake and small scoop. Then told by cashier the coupon only applies to scoops, no other menu items. Pointed out the coupon says nothing about that. Get a shrug in return and says I won’t take the coupon. If your franchise signs up for a coupon mailed out to the community you ought to state on the coupon what it’s for.

It is a very busy place. Fast and friendly service. The ice cream is delicious, love the chocolate and peanut butter.

Worst customer service, one associste kept me waiting in line for 10 minutes while no one was a head of me, the other associate served other customers who came after me. If you want to stand in line and waste time without being helped to get ice cream, the ben and jerrys at Emmet st. is the place to go.

The ice cream was great as expected and the staff were friendly, but not being able to see the flavors presented in front of me and only being able to read the board lessens the experience. This needs to be remedied.

The ice cream there was fantastic lots and lots of ice cream flavors to choose from, it tasted great, the customer service was a tad bit slow but it was a busy place. I really recommend this ice cream shop to others!
